Attended a sausage making class, it was really well organised and informative, the other attendees were a good crowd and we had a good evening being taught the art of sausage making by 2 great members of staff. Would recommend this class to anyone who likes a great banger!

Called whilst on a coach trip from South Wales on our way to Stratford, warm welcome and cold wine and beer , would have liked to have stayed longer, but on a tight schedule, will return when back in the area

Our first visit to The Bell, a last minute overnight booking on the way to Somerset. Everything was exceptional, but what was particularly memorable was the great service from all of the staff - bar, restaurant and breakfast. They clearly know how to recruit and train the right people. Already booked for our next one. Perfect in every respect, thank you.

BEWARE! Not often that I feel the need to leave such a negative review. 4 years ago this was an Award Winning Restaurant and I have eaten there many times. Visited last week and had one of the worst and most expensive meals I have ever suffered. Smoked Haddock Cheese Soufle to start (£12), small dry and tasteless. Halibut main (£24), the smallest sliver of tasteless fish served with one potato, a few greens and some tasteless cold "butter sauce". Absolute disgrace, my friends "Whole" Plaice just as bad. Tiny portions of overpriced, tasteless food. Didn't bother with desserts, we went home and prepared some food as we were so hungry. You have been warned!

Decided to visit for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The initial greeting by the young lady behind the bar was very encouraging so we ordered coffee and had a look at the menu. I ordered ham, egg and chips and my husband ordered the fish and chips. We sat down in a pleasant area and the food wasn’t too long in being served. My plate of ham was plentiful and presented with 2 eggs which were nicely cooked, sadly that’s where it all started to go downhill. The ham was very over cooked and difficult to cut, I suspect it had been stored for maybe too long. I mentioned to the young lady that it was tough to which she asked if I would like a steak knife! I was unable to eat my meal as it was just too tough and unappetising. My husbands fish and chips was disappointing and in all honesty it resembled a piece of ready battered fish that had been bought in, rather than freshly battered and cooked fish. The fish was rather thin and dry looking but he did manage to eat the bulk of it, although defeated at the end by an extremely hard piece. The owner came over after I complained and commented that she had eaten some of the ham earlier and that other meals served had been enjoyed, although I don’t recall seeing too many meals being served. We then went to the bar to pay and, after asking, the owner said that my meal wouldn’t be charged for but my husbands would as he had eaten most of it. £25+ for two coffees, a pre prepared fish and chips and an inedible ham and chips…..sadly won’t recommend or return.

Aiden and his team provide a great service all around and the food menu is yummy. I meet here every 2 weeks for a networking breakfast for work, I am Flooring South West based in Tetbury. I always have a pleasant greeting. Driven team and lovely setting which is well worth a visit.

Visited many times and had positive experiences. Won’t be returning again. At least 4 members of staff saw us waiting to be seated on arrival and we were not even acknowledged despite it not being very busy, staff just continued to walk about not appearing to do much and chatting between themselves. Eventually shown to a table that still had dirty crockery and the previous visitors food on the table, had to ask for it to be cleaned. Member of staff who was “serving” was quite abrupt and came across rude. Plenty of staff around chatting to each other and I’d say only half full with customers but the place looked a mess and a few people had to get up from their table to find someone to ask for items or to order/pay as did we. Tables left dirty for long periods with used plates and food across tables. Not the best experience.

We are regular users of Premier inn and have found recently that we book online and add the cooked breakfast option but when we stay at the hotel there is NO cooked breakfast available. We are staying at Circenster and yet again NO cooked breakfast but will get a refund, this is happening too often with us. I'm told that the restaurant is closing shortly so they are running down the food, school holidays very poor from the owners of this company. It used to be brilliant at Premier inn but not now, how things change. May try Travelodge and eat out in future.
