The place is amazing, great ambiance and wonderful staff!

Lovely place, the beer is good, the owner is very friendly! Dog friendly, small exterior, interior with character, I really liked it! The toilets are spotless. I recommend!

This pub is so much improved since Ally and Simon took it back on earlier this year. They've got the good live music back and the range of beer and cider is top class. It's a really great pub.

We were staying locally but wanted to find a decent pub showing the England game that was dog friendly and offered a little food. Rang in advance to check this, and was happy to accommodate. As soon as we arrived in the bar we were given a very friendly welcome, a cheery guy behind the bar. Happily sat in the bar area to watch the game... and felt fully comfortable throughout our visit. Had a fantastic burger freshly cooked in the garden too... would love to come back here!!

Would recommend if you are a beer drinker. Plenty of great ales to choose from - they even had a cappuccino stout which was really delicious! Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was that of a classic pub. Would go again

Visited on a Saturday morning. No milk for coffee. Food was a long wait, then arrived rather overcooked. Lovely atmosphere, hard working landlord. Think he could do with some help.

Great selection of real ales including locally sourced. Resident collie is fun, wanting his stick thrown, which might bother some. I say embrace it.

Visited here two nights in a row during cask beer week while on vacation. Amazing place with a fantastic beer lineup and nice, friendly service. I wish this were my hometown pub. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop by for a pint or two.

To be fair it was late afternoon on the Saturday before the ladies world cup final, very quiet though, enjoyable cider.

Wye valley and North Cotswold beer on tap. Good selection in cans. Beer fresh and well looked after. As are customers.

Best pub pub in the area. The landlord proving that pubs can still be profitable without resorting to overpriced gastronomy with no room to socialise. Fine selection of cider, ale and stouts on regular rotation. The patio garden is good but,such an establishment Needs replicating out of town too. Possibly by woods, fields, some water and a village named after an item of clothing.

During a break in Cirencester I sought out the Marlborough Arms due to its reputation for great ales and Belgian beers in particular. I was not disappointed, knowledgeable barman helped me choose a good one... superb.

Great night out. Good atmosphere and friendly people. Live band was very good called tequila mockingbird. Varied music and brilliant fun night.

We found this great little pub as we were staying in a nearby youth hostel. Staff were accommodating and friendly and they had recently held a craft beer festival so had plenty of good stuff on taps as well cand in the fridge. They had typical pub fare as well as real ale and selections from mikeller, verdant and deya to name a few.

Enjoy this local pub. Excellent range of ales and ciders. Warm welcome. COVID measures are robust. Well managed and clean establishment.

Fantastic pub with really friendly staff. Good selection of bottled Belgian beer if that's your thing. Ales were all off but that was because they were waiting to see if they had to close.

Yes this is a proper pub. Friendly staff and locals. The staff know there stuff with at least 8 ales on tap. Wooden tables and chairs with no frills. Dog friendly with a group playing connect four. PROPER PUB.
