A lovely area to go get delicious waffles before a day at college. Staff were lovely and gave us student discount. Had a lovely experience would definitely go again. We had a delish breakfast waffle and the splendid banoffee waffle from their specials board.

Cheerful staff, lush waffles and coffee

The staff were friendly and the service was good. I enjoyed the goat's cheese and caramelised onion waffle. I also had a banoffee waffle with ice cream. This could have been improved with more syrup and if the ice cream was put on the side as it made the waffle go soggy.

Beautiful little waffle and milkshake corner surrounded by small businesses. The milkshakes were super yummy (we had the chocolate mint, chocolate and strawberry), waffles were freshly made and the staff were super friendly. Clean washrooms. Very kid friendly with a nice reading corner for young ones. Nice artwork on the walls. You will have to park few streets away and walk around to reach here.

Great waffles enjoyed a lot unfortunately the place had a lot of wasps flying round. Not a massive problem but a bit annoying. Not the staffs fault but the kids aren't keen to go back

Lovely little place which my daughter absolutely adores as a special treat. Following on from the previous review I would like to say there were a few wasps in the shop, but afterall it is a Waffle shop and wasps like sweet things so not a lot can be done about that. I am sure the doors and windows need to be open as the Waffle irons are exruintingly hot..... I'd prefer a nice cool environment to a boiling hot one whilst myself and my daughter enjoy our treat. Thankyou especially to the blonde lady with curly hair who is always so welcoming. The staff have always been lovely and polite

I don't write many reviews but this was a must. I have been to this cafe a number of times and never had a problem but this time was horrendous. The cafe was suffering a wasp infestation but as we arrived the staff were just opening the door so we decided to stay. As our food arrived we were swamped by wasps wanting our sweet waffles and milkshakes. My children were crying and our food crawling with wasps. I asked the staff for a fly hitter or what could they do, they replied there was nothing they could do. I had to leave our food to move away with my children resulting in me feeding my two year old stood up as she had a savoury waffle I asked the staff again what could they do and again no help was given from them, so they were happy for my children to be crying, our food being attacked by wasps and them having a cigarette break outside. We were offered take away boxes so I did take what I could with me but not a lot of our food as it had wasps on it. We spent nearly £60 in the cafe and i felt they didn’t care about their service one bit or grateful at all we took our custom there. My children being upset is not how I want to spend a treat day with them and no apology from the staff means I won’t be going again! I know wasps aren’t all year round but I would of thought they would of had a precaution for this type of thing considering it’s not their first year as a business and most of their waffles are sweet, they sell ice cream and milkshake!

The perfect place to satisfy a sweet tooth ! And when we visited, the outdoor seating was in a lovely sheltered sun trap.

Very disappointed with the taste of the savoury waffles. Perhaps the sweet waffles would have been a better option. The waffle tasted oily, very bland and should have been cooked more. The toppings tasted false, due to the cheese being the processed variety. A shame as the choice on the menu was good and reasonably priced. Would not return sadly.

This is such a simple concept but executed amazingly. The location and decor fits the business so well. The staff are so friendly and the waffles???? The best... I am not just saying that, they are made fresh in front of you and they taste so good... We love to visit for those slightly special occasions (Mother day, fathers day etc). The sweet waffles are the obvious choice and are better than you imagine but the savoury just work! Highly recommend and I can't even give some constructive feedback as it's just perfect the way it is.

We haven't been here in a long time, so decided to treat ourselves. As we remembered, there is a lovely selection of sweet and savoury waffles. It was very quiet bar one family and as we sat down had a look my wife went up to till and paid. Took about 20 minutes for our order to arrive and look amazing. I had the banana boat and my wife had the bacon waffle. We also had a salted carmel milkshake. All of this was lovely and gone within 5 minutes. The young people were polite when they took our order and brought our food over, but there was one lady in particular with blond hair who was making all the orders and working very hard (not saying the others werent) but we wanted to say thank you for the lovely food. You took the time as well when we left to pop your head up and say goodbye and thankyou. Only thing I would say is the toilet lock is a bit dodgey, when you leave keep turning the lock and eventually it does let you out lol

Amazing service, everyone is so nice there however I will say my waffle was slightly undercooked how ever it was very tasty and extremely filling . My milkshake was amazing , they always are.

Enjoyed the breakfast waffles and coffee here. Great touch to have the tasty bacon in the waffle batter. The waffle texture was perfect - a bit crispy on the edges and soft almost mufdin-like in the middle. The coffees were also decent.

One of the nicest waffles and lovely staff. The location was nice and quite and wouldn’t have found it without the sign.

What a great find, we had a raft if different waffles including a customised one for a picky 5 year old. They were great, they were make fresh, took no time at all and were scrummy. My bacon and maple syrup one was the best and even came with a fresh side salad.

Went here whilst exploring the back alleys of Cirencester. The menu has a wide range of waffles, something for everyone. It tasted amazing, and the milkshake selection is amazing. Would definitely recommend!

I wish I would have taken a picture. We had a ham and cheese waffle and a lotus Biscoff waffle along with an iced latte and a Biscoff milkshake. So delicious. Highly recommend!!

I recently moved to the Cotswolds and visited Cirencester for the first time. My other half loves waffles and was more than satisfied by the selection and price range. Friendly staff nothing too much trouble if I could give this place a six I would 👍🏻

Went in 10 minutes before closing and staff were very happy to serve us. Milkshakes were amazing and waffles very tasty and came with a proper side salad. Staff were very friendly.

Clean, bright cafe with a very good choice of waffles. Pleasant staff. I had a salami, mozzarella & olive waffle with came with a large side salad & lovely Caesar dressing. My husband had a maple syrup waffle and a delicious Spanish style hot chocolate. All absolutely delicious.

The name of this place immediately caught my attention. The waffles were amazing. I was a bit sceptical about ordering savoury waffles, but they didn’t disappoint. All of them come with a salad on the side, so it makes you feel healthier than you actually are. The seating area inside is not very spacious but there are plenty of seats outside. I would imagine it’s really good for eating out with children

My family and I come here whenever we come to Cirencester and love it every time. Not only are the waffles amazing with so much choice I really recommend their milkshakes. Lovely staff and great service-a must visit for kids and adults too!

Visited this cafe today with a group of friends. Positive is that the waffles were really good and enjoyed by all but unfortunately the negatives out weigh them and mean we won’t be going back. Firstly, the place is really dirty not only is the cutlery and the tables sticky but the worst area is most notably in the food preparation area, think bits of food on the floor and all over the work surfaces in the small kitchen area and you’ll get the picture of the unhygienic mess. Secondly, customer service is poor, no checking of orders and no copy of receipt given, means that when the young staff invariably do make a mistake the customer is treated at fault with the odd swear word thrown in by the mature lady making the waffles. No apology, very rude, totally unprofessional and many better places to spend your money.

Super cosy place with a nice outside seating area. A good selection of sweet and savoury waffles. Goat cheese and onion chutney is highly recommended!

Nice little cafe tucked away, great tasting waffles!

If you were to ask me... "Would you like a waffle?" I would normally overlook it for something more bog standard. Fortunately, my wife is much more adventurous, so we gave this place a try with baby in tow... and it is excellent. Great coffee, delicious savoury waffles, decent service and plenty of room to relax. The toilet was even spotless (bugbear of mine!); don't hesitate, it's really good!

Used to love this place but last Sunday when we visited the cutlery was filthy, hubby picked up several knifes and had to put them back, he wouldn't let me complaint as there was quite a few people queuing so I cleaned them with serviettes, most had chocolate still on them ...won't be going back

Used to love going here but it's not as good as it was, hubby picked up 4 knifes all dirty, tried again, all dirty, the forks weren't much better, hubby wouldn't let me say anything as the place was very busy, I had to use serviettes to clean the cutlery before we could eat ....food amazing, service quick, just the cutlery let it down ...

This is my favourite resturant in the UK. I love a sweet waffle, savoury waffle and let me tell you, you will not have a better milkshake! The outdoor area is lovely and even though it's in the middle of town, it's very quiet. The only negative about this place is that I can never decide what I want, it's all delicious!

First time eating here. We have tried to go in before and felt the staff were rude but decided to give it another go today. Outside eating area was busy, which was expected as it’s a nice warm sunny day, inside was quiet with only one other table occupied. We sat down and then went to order. This was at 3:15pm with closing listed at 4pm. After eventually getting served (4 members all with backs to the till) we ordered and paid , one of the staff members then exclaimed “I thought we were closed?” - the lady on the till said “yes, after this one”. We then saw the disgruntled staff member give us filthy looks and start to clean up the inside of the shop. Another customer came in and ordered something - again this staff member stated “I thought we were closed!” This staff member then proceeded to sweep up under our table while we were eating, crashing in to our chairs, feet and the table. The irony was we were eaten and out of the place by 3:45. They were preparing for a child’s birthday party - if having customers in so close to a party is an issue then maybe have a cutoff and not make your customers feel awkward, rushed and generally like a nuisance. The milkshakes were nice, the waffles weren’t anything special and overpriced for what you had. We won’t be back.

Stumbled on this great little cafe when looking for ice cream. Mainly does waffles sweet, savoury and breakfast. Also does fantastic milkshakes. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Really nice little shop making every kind of waffles. They have both sweet and savoury options, we chose the scrambled egg and salmon one and one with nutella and some extra icecream. You can see that the waffles are made fresh and the prices are super convenient. Also the waffles are not huge, so you’re not left bloated but they are a good size.

We would have visited just for the name, but the sign outside sealed the deal: we ALWAYS chose waffles! We continue to visit because the waffles are great and they have so many topping options. I've tried several, both savory and sweet, and they've all been delicious. They also have really good hot chocolate, which is always a plus in my book. I took a star off because the seating arrangements are not the best, tables are really close to each other, very tight and not comfortable.

Concept of the cafe is good. Large selection of options on the menu and offerd non dairy milkshake (no non dairy ice-cream though). Cafe could be much cleaner, tables were all dirty and menus discarded on chairs and floor. Cafe only had 1 table occupied...

Service can be slow at busy times as it’s all made to order. I recommend it especially for kids as there are so many options.

Superb food. The waffles were tasty, fresh and a great portion size. Very nice selection of sweet and savoury options. Milkshake was spot on, hot chocolate very good too. A definite favourite after just one visit.

We were recommended to visit this place, and it did not disappoint. We arrived towards the end of lunch, about 2 o'clock, and everyone was working at flank speed! It was obviously a well-oiled operation, with one on waffles, two on drinks, and another washing...

I had always believed that waffles were sweet only so was pleasantly surprised to be found mistaken. We had them sitting outside in the warm sunshine last week and thouroughly enjoyed the food and the pleasant friendly service.

A wonderful cafe in the back streets of Cirencester that serves up a great selection of sweet and savoury waffles. Personal favourite is bacon (mixed in the with batter) and maple syrup. Not to be missed :)

Popped into Cirencester for some Christmas shopping and decided to go for a waffle & hot drink. We were lucky as there was a table available when we popped in. 'He Says She Waffles' has a great range of savoury and sweet crepes plus hot drinks. Today, on a particularly cold day we had a sweet waffle of vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, another of Nutella and a savoury waffle of ham, cheese and mushrooms. We were all happy with our choices & enjoyed our visit. With drinks our bill came to just over £23, not too bad. The service was excellent, 4 young members of staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Found this place by accident and lucky we found it early as it is very popular - loads of choice, real nice, quick and polite service - portions not the most generous hence the 4 star

We wandered into this place tempted by the savoury waffles on offer. After placing our order at the bar - 1 x hot dog waffle and 2 x Nachos together with milk shakes & drinks, we sat outside. We must have waited for over 40...

Finally I got to try them and the wait was worth it, daughter loved it and the staff even surprised me with a Birthday waffle.

We wanted to go to this place for ages but we're sadly rather disappointed. The menu was vast - something for everyone, but the coffee was weak. We chose the breakfast waffles, with bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. The waffle had bacon bits in is which was nice but was like warm, scrambled didnt seem fresh but rather from powder and the mushrooms were slimey. The tomato was barely warm, certainly not grilled... no colour whatsoever. All in all rather disappointing.

Went a while ago now, tables and toilets were very dirty and gluten free waffles were horrid. I know this sounds mean, but I make them at home and they aren't difficult to make.

Went here for lunch today. It was quite small and we had to wait for a table. The glass we were given for my wife's drink was a bit grubby which was a bit off putting. We also had to wait over half an hour to be served the food. I understand that they are a small cafe and everything is cooked fresh, but there was no explanation or mention of the wait time when we ordered/ when it was given to us. however, once the waffles arrived they were very tasty. The waffles were softer/ lighter than ones I've had elsewhere which was really nice. I had the salted caramel waffle and the caramel was thick and indulgent.

Visited Cirencester with some friends on a trip away for a weekend. Looked up a few places to go and just had to head here for breakfast. We were expecting the usual bacon and maple syrup (which is offered), but we were delighted to find...

Good food and coffee. Recommended.
