The best restaurants in Roseland Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Quick and polite service from the young chap at the counter. Ordered a crab baguette and chicken chorizo sandwich. Both were very tasty, lovely bread and generous fillings. Will definitely eat there again when in the area.

From arrival we had an amazing experience. Staff very friendly and food top notch. Didn't have to wait long either to be served our meals. Will definitely go back!

Most relaxing place to sit by the mill pond and have a drink or a bite to eat. The walk round the pond is lovely. The waterwheel is nice to see and there is a good antique shop.

First time to try and somewhat disappointed very little fish just all batter,chips not fresh potatoes but frozen, the taste was there as they cook in dripping

The Sunday lunch was excellent and you certainly get what you pay for. My friend had the beef, I the lamb, both were smoked as described and melt in the mouth. The roast potatoes were second only to mine, such a joy to have proper roast potatoes. The cauliflower cheese was cheesy, and it comes as part of the lunch. The carrot was lovely, and my friend said the kale was too. I'm not a fan of kale. The gravy was stunning and I'm very fussy about gravy. The staff were lovely, as we were served our meals, we were informed that should we want any extras such as potatoes or gravy, to just ask. If I lived closer, this would be a monthly lunch treat for me, a great holiday visit and when I go to Cornwall again, I will certainly go back.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

This place is a must visit, amazing food, fantastic service and great interior. Extremely underrated and cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful food and excellent service. The view is gorgeous. It's a bit old fashioned and that isn't everyone's cup of tea but the feeling of stepping back in time is part of it's charm. The waiting staff were immaculately dressed and the service was faultless. The food was delicious.

Just had Sunday lunch and it was amazing. Would highly recommend. The roast potatoes were especially good as was the beef and gammon

Stayed here for 2 nights. Have so much enjoyed our stay. Amazing location, very very good food, lovely staff and comfortable accommodation. We will be back. Very relaxing, nothing precious or pretentious.

We were having a marathon walk,and fell upon this quaint little coffee stop! Friendly service,great coffee and a nice pastry......just what the doctor ordered!

Pub needs saving from closure but really not helped by serving up really sub standard poor excuse for fish and chips! Please, only cook up and serve within capabilities. Rubber batter, my goodness!

Location is only thing going for this place. I was the only vegetarian in the party and paid £50 for a smudge of goats cheese with beetroot and four tiny balls of blu tac as the main course. Waitress seemed embarrassed when I ordered, and I understand that now. One of our party was so disappointed with their (alleged) sea bass, they stormed off and ruined the evening for us all. Would not go back, unless it was to drink wine on their terrace.

Lovely coffee shop. Probably the best in St mawes. Great pastries and cakes. Cannot fault the place or the staff. Will definitely go again thus holiday.
