Quick and polite service from the young chap at the counter. Ordered a crab baguette and chicken chorizo sandwich. Both were very tasty, lovely bread and generous fillings. Will definitely eat there again when in the area.

Amazing food and amazing service, there with my 96 year old Mum, nothing too much trouble. A real joy, if only the rest of the UK provided quality like this, a massive recommendation.

A fabulous find. Great coffee late afternoon and pasties to take back to our holiday home. We went back the next day for a crab sandwich but there had been a problem with supply, we had prawn instead which was amazing, a lovely baguette which very generous filling. Great selection of goodies in the Deli.

We had a lovely lunch at the deli, some of the family opted foe baguettes and other pasties. Everyone was happy with their choice, pasties were delicious and full of meat. Next time we are in St Mawes we will be back!

£12 for your allegedly “famous” crab baguette without any salad is an absolute liberty. I was really looking forward to this as a treat but it was bland and disappointing. Avoid.

A fabulous little deli coffee shop with some mouthwatering products and take sways. However, the owner can be grumpy and frost faced dependant on the mood. I guess the long hours are wearing I. High season but it out is off going back after the second experience. Shame, it is a great find but brace yourself!

my dad had recommended the sandwiches from here so when me and my husband were down May bank holiday to visit my parents and my husband to take part in the Castle to Castle Swim we decided for lunch after we'd get some of the lovely sandwiches. As we were going to be there on a May bank holiday i thought best to order in advance to ensure we didnt miss out, so i contacted the owner, Jon, via email a few days beforehand and he kindly sent me a menu for me to take a look at. I emailed him back with our order. On the day of collection, the sandwiches were all ready and he handed over in a bag and we paid. Simple! We then found a spot on a beach in St Mawes to sit and enjoy them. While they're quite pricey (£12 for crab baguette) my goodness, they're fantastic!!! lovely fresh bread and lots of filling so totally worth every penny! We agreed we'd definitely have sandwiches from there again but you need to order in advance id say on a weekend and certainly in the busy summer season. We heard Jon advising some people when we returned to the deli later on, that he'd totally sold out of fillings and bread. Thank you Jon for a fantastic lunch!! Im sure we'll be ordering from you again!

We had the best Crab baguette ever and a lovely coffee too. Lovely friendly staff will definitely be back again on our next visit to St Mawes

What a disappointment. I had been looking forward to getting lunch here and we ordered a veggie and a steak pasty. Unfortunately the meat pasty was literally dripping fat which I could pour out of the pastry, and which dripped down the front of my coat. I took it back and was told it should have been allowed to rest when I think the real problem was the very high fat contents. It would have been nice to have been offered my money back, but since this did not happen, we won’t be going back. Shame, apparently the veggie pasty was okay.

Popped in to Mr Scorse deli to purchase some Cornwall gin as an anniversary present for my husband. They didn't have what I'd bought before......but Mr Scorse now has his own recipe distilled locally. Well received by my husband who's currently enjoying a glass on a wet and windy evening. Definitely recommend #rosemarynotes

With all the other food outlets on the St Mawes seafront closed it was a delight to find Mr Scorse deli open on a sunnyNew Year’s bank holiday.. The pasties and the coffee served by the proprietor himself were fantastic. We will certainly return in the Spring to sample some of his other offerings.

The service is terrible, the owner is extremely rude and the shop is dirty and messy. Save yourself your money and go somewhere else, I wouldn’t eat or buy anything from there even if I was paid.
