We always have Supper at this hotel on the Upper Deck when we are staying in St Mawes. Ben and his team are so friendly and very efficient too. Ben is a great Manager with a great sense of humour. He and his team always have time to spend with us and this makes a difference to our time spent in the Restaurant. The food is very good and the presentation too. I’ve been visiting The Rising Sun in St Mawes regularly over the past year, and it’s become one of my favourite spots—not just for the great food and stunning location, but because of the consistently exceptional service, especially from Bridgette. Every time I come in, she greets me like an old friend and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care create such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s staff like Bridgette that turn a good meal into a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

One of the finest lications gor excellent good. Seating inside fir those rainy Cornidh days. Ckose to the Falmouth / St Mawes Ferry. Good coffee and excellent food.

Had Sunday lunch here was ok, no stock behind the bar and was made to feel uncomfortable by the loud locals whom was trying to engaged in our conversations. Shame because a nice little pub
