The best restaurants in Newquay Central Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

My partner and I go here most days to enjoy a coffee with the lovely staff .On our last visit we were shocked to actually see a dog sitting on one of the armchairs which I find completely unexceptable dogs inside not a problem but on the chairs is a joke please sort this out .

Popped in here for some breakfast with the family before heading home for Christmas. ordered an ice cream milkshake which was cheap flavoured milk with a scoop of ice cream slopped on the top of a 'strawberry' milkshake......, the BLT was served on no frills thin sliced white bread . I'm surprised this place has a 3.5 rating on trip advisor

I went here with my family, and, it is definitely the best ice cream shop and bakery in Newquay. The service was top-notch, and the woman serving was understanding and patient. She was also really nice and handled the food with care. Please check it out, such a lovely place, 10/10

Mixed. Cocktails were yummy. Muchano was so lovely, friendly & funny! However my partner ordered a pint of Korev, it was flat, asked for “a live one” got told by Ed it would be fizzy in his mouth 🤣🤣 He just wanted a fresh, clean glass. After 10mins was handed back the same, now warm pint…. Sooo we bought a bottle of beer & more cocktails.

Not sure what's happened here recently but the 2 orders in the 4 days I've placed have either been missing things or just cancelled before the restaurant supposedly closes?

Very popular place good food at great value for money and the beer is pretty good as well!!!

Best carvery in town ! Good beer selection, friendly staff and the best carvery selection. All very reasonably priced.

If you are looking for affordable and good food, then I would not recommend this place because you get the complete opposite. It is overpriced for subpar food. Asked for fish and chips and almost ended up paying more then you would at the local up market sit down restaurant. Caught the bill before tapping on the contactless. When questioned, was told that the price of the fish under the "fish and chip" menu did not include chips and chips would be separate. Ended up ordering chicken pie, chips and mushy peas. Saw the the owner take out a can of mushy peas, open it, put it under the grill for a few minutes and scoop it into styrofoam cups. The chicken and mushroom pie tasted like the filling was Campbell's chicken and mushroom soup, also out of the can and into a pie crust, only colder then the mushy peas. The only thing that was ok were the chips.

Had subway this evening (delivery) was awful. Never had such a bad experience as I have today. Tried calling 12 times no answer, bread was stale/wrong, items missing just all round very poor. Was waiting 2 hours and it wasn’t even worth it wished I went else where. £40 wasted

I walk down there closed at 11.30

FOOD HYGIENE concern, we had upset stomach after having dinner here. Our food was not cooked properly and when we informed the server we didn’t even get an apology, we asked for medium well and we got rare meat, even the chicken was undercooked, she took the meat back reheated and and brought it back?? The food was bland and meh. Overpriced, low quality. Never again!!

We contacted these people through Just Eat and they brought the Absolute Banger - Large 13.5", Classic Crust, BBQ Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese to our caravan at Crantock. it was a really nice pizza. A bit expensive, but night and brought to us in a field somewhere.

We ate here twice as it suited our teenagers. The service was friendly and quick and the food arrived rapidly. The pizzas were ok and the pasta dishes tasty. The views from the outside balcony at the back over the beach are amazing .
