If you are looking for affordable and good food, then I would not recommend this place because you get the complete opposite. It is overpriced for subpar food. Asked for fish and chips and almost ended up paying more then you would at the local up market sit down restaurant. Caught the bill before tapping on the contactless. When questioned, was told that the price of the fish under the "fish and chip" menu did not include chips and chips would be separate. Ended up ordering chicken pie, chips and mushy peas. Saw the the owner take out a can of mushy peas, open it, put it under the grill for a few minutes and scoop it into styrofoam cups. The chicken and mushroom pie tasted like the filling was Campbell's chicken and mushroom soup, also out of the can and into a pie crust, only colder then the mushy peas. The only thing that was ok were the chips.

Had lunch here yesterday, the food is disgusting! Ordered the children chipsand they were served to us dark brown! They looked liked they had been in the deep fat fryer for days and recook over and over. The chicken burger I had was over cooked full of greese, the burger bun fell to pieces and there was brown greese all on the side of the bun... definitely won't be buying food from here again!!!

Waiting times are the longest here than any other McDonald’s we’ve been to. They don’t answer the drive thru in order, on this occasion we waited over 10 minutes for pancakes and a coffee when it was a quiet Sunday morning in and out. Then they also didn’t bring cutlery when they finally came with the food. The second visit with bad service/ ridiculous waiting times

The first time was great , food was really good etc. Unfortunately on the second trip the young lad serving left out a mighty bucket for one meal. We had the fries and the drinks but not the meal. had to drive back again to be greeted by the same guy. I did explain the situation to be told "it should have been in the bag!" Looked at his colleague as if i were lying , made another put it in a bag and handed it to me. No apology at all. 4 mile round turned into an 8 mile round trip. They were not even that busy! Check your order before you leave if using this branch.

Station RoadLooks as rough as hell from the outside and the decor is beyond belief and rundown, however, the landlady and locals were friendly enough, so if its a quick pint while you wait and your not expecting the Ritz, go in.
