Lovely food staff helpful .only problem dirty tables and floors widow s need a good clean,especially the entrance other than ti's food was great ,staff working hard..

Allways check what you have in the bag is what you ordered! I spent £34.20 on an order it came minas 2 portions of chips and 1 bottle of water☹️. Annoyed.

The only KFC I've seen in all of the Southwest portion of Cornwall. This branch is in a retail park across B&M. There is free Wifi, ample seating areas and clean toilets. If you take a window seat on the left side of the counter, you can have gorgeous mountain/hillside views. Overall good experience in this branch.

Friendly staff and fast service.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to KFC. Previously, I had a great experience with the rice box at another location, but this time the portion was tiny, like a kid's meal. The beans were missing, and when I asked, I received a small separate portion. The staff were unhelpful, and the bins inside and outside were overflowing. This location is poorly managed, and I won't be returning or recommending it to anyone.

It has been a while since my last visit and will not be visiting again. The first 4 chicken pieces I sent back as they did not look fresh and very small. The second batch was not much better. If I had lived nearer I would have taken the whole lot back. The assistants looked as if they did not know what was happening and could not be bothered and one of them was smirking as I left. The chicken was dry, old and tasted of cardboard! The chips were overcooked and smelt funny. A shame as I used to enjoy KFC there, what is happening now to food takeaways, you pay over the top and they serve you rubbish. Threw the lot in the bin as did not want to get salmonella.

For some reason today food was not good had bad tummy from it.

No receipt in order machine, chicken burger was freezing cold, I asked for a fresh burger, member of was very abrupt and told me I had to wait. Chicken breast was not cooked properly, it was very greasy, not crispy coated, very soggy. Large diet coke tasted disgusting, no choice of drinks will meal apart from fizzy drinks. Milkshake crushem is a rip off for the price. Member of staff walked to the outside bins with rubbish and was smoking/vaping before coming back into the store. Definitely will not be returning, company needs to be shut down.

I use this take away about very couple of weeks. The food is generally ok however the staff and customer service are very hit and miss! Yesterday evening about 8pm was one of the worse. Several minutes without being acknowledged in any way. The customer in front of me walked out. Eventually served by a young girl who never even looked at me. Items I was trying to order, I was repeatedly told by a man shouting from the back wasn’t available, they’d run out! I walked out too and went around the corner to McDonalds! Sort your Penzance staff out KFC!

We went there about 45 mins before closing time and everyone was in a hurry to clean and get out. After us a lot of people came in and there were told there was no chicken. We got our order but just letting people know so that they go there early.

Went to try them for the first time and never again! After eating their chicken started to feel ill after few hours. Chicken was dry and taste like burnt

Ordered from here yesterday. My brother had stomach cramps last night and I've been suffering with food poisoning symptoms.

Drive through closed, self service machines only one working with no receipts issued, staff miserable complained about our order and was arguing in the kitchen about it to top things off we both got unwell after eating would avoid have put in a complaint in with KFC care squad won’t be returning to this restaurant shame because I’m a big fan of KFC and eat it often such a let down 0/5 stars.

Ate the mega box which was just what we needed after a long day walking round the tin mines. Mega box was great, food and gravy were hot. Provided serviettes and ketchup and mayonnaise. Love the fries at the moment with the spicy flavour. Pretty sure we ordered regular pepsi but it was definitely diet. Hate diet drinks. Can spot artificial sweetener immediately. Other than the pepsi it was great.

I personally don't like KFC, but my daughter wanted to try it.... She loved it and I admit..... I did too. Banquet meal.

The chicken is never cooked properly, and their drinks machines are always broken. There was no receipt from the self-service machine. I won't be going here anymore.

Good location. Can eat our meal down by the sea. Found out Wednesday is good day to go, a bit quieter and got served quicker and the chips were very hot! Ate food with a glorious view of St Michael's Mount, 5 minutes away. Had the Aero ice cream to try, excellent value and delicious 😋. Easter weekend so busy but by ordering ahead food was ready as we got there. Sat in our of the rain this time.

Not a good experience male manager was so rude. Food was cold and really greasy felt unwell straight after eating didn't finish it. Drive through closed self service machines out of service and a big wait for a small order won't return.

Sorry KFC was so disappointed after not having KFC for over a year due to placement in Out of a 6 piece order 4 were small drumsticks..okkk.. but it was so much oil and the chicken was grey in colour with a slimy texture on Hope the people in charge get to see this review. Honestly I get that it’s a fast food place but the customer service in there is beyond a joke. I told them the order was missing something I had the most stinking attitude from a girl at the till. Then a nice guy went and asked the manager who I visibly saw get argumentative about giving me what was missing (I couldn’t prove it as the machine didn’t print out a receipt but I proved the amount on my card) so In the end I paid money and wasn’t allowed to get my full order? Manager clearly needs training it’s actually laughable!

I've been to Penzance KFC a few times and had the same rude response from the male manager.He has no patients for people and never polite.Today march 8th 2024 around 4pm the lady on the till seamed to be quite new to her job she made a couple of mistakes I didn't mind just waited for her to work things out while waiting he said to another customer you might get served next year.Which made the girl serving more nervers.By this time he was putting me off my food.I felt sorry for the lady trying to work things out without any help from manager.The food was Luke warm and the chicken never seams to be at a good standard was very disappointed.please get a more friendly and less stressed manger please

Just visited this KFC after 3 years totally disappointed chips were limp and soggy the chicken wasn't crisp or tasty waisted of time money and food how can you get it so wrong, rather go to big mac's

The food was good quality and hot. Service was rather slow for how quiet it was. And the restaurant was filthy, dirty and sticky tables, overflowing bins (inside and out) and unknown liquid on the toilet floor.

The food is mostly great. Sadly the staff often have trouble getting your order right. I'm usually on the run if I ever have KFC so it's the drive through for me. Which ultimately means but the time I've opened my meal it's far too late to prove they got it wrong -again. The sad thing is the staff always seem to be lovely people. I'm also not a fan of getting a large family bucket and it being 80% drumsticks. This I have had to go back about before. I live a fair distance from our "local" KFC so you can imagine my frustration. All in all, lovely people but there's something not quite right. Best advice is check your order before you pull away

Good food, generous portions, reasonable price

It seems every time our order is wrong. Ordered their Xmas tower got a zinger with a bit of lettuce. Too far to go back once home. I didn't check as everything was put in one bag.

Typical fast food outlet which provides decent - largely non vegetarian- food.However the zero chicken burger is well worth having. Staff are friendly . Assistance dogs only allowed although outdoor seating is available

Best KFC I've ever had. Visited whilst on holiday and wanted something quick and easy. We used the drive thru. Staff were lovely people. Chicken was hot and crispy, chips were freshly cooked and the burger was delicious. Unlike the KFC by me, they even remembered my straws and condiments. Well impressed. Not one to leave a review on a fast food place, but after seeing all the bad reviews I felt I had to.

Food order was all fine, but the restaurant was truly disgusting and could seriously do with a deep clean.

A very disappointing branch of KFC. We visited when it was quiet. It was 8.30pm on a Wednesday evening at the end of August. Strangely the app said you could eat in until 10pm but you could only order to takeaway until 9pm. Service was rather slow although the person serving was rather pleasant. The restaurant was very messy and dirty with food and other debris on the tables and floor. We only ordered straightforward items from the menu, chicken, fries, popcorn chicken and it didn't taste as flavoursome as KFC usually tastes and was only lukewarm. Very disappointing.

Recently every time i’ve come to KFC or picked up food it’s either cold or just terribly put together. Ordering bbq bites, bbq sauce tastes like tar. Never get the order right.

Not one to normally write a review and not about a fast chain food restaurant. However, im still baffled by the performance of the staff here. After struggling to find a table that was clean, we ordered our food. The girl at the counter was the rudest person ever to be working in any form of hospitality as she lacked it completely. It wasn't busy. Staff in and out on breaks or to have a cigarette! There were 3 staff members arguing about clearing the tables, ect, Finally, 2 came out to clear them. Not caring about any of the customers sat eating, the one rude girl was swearing about customers (whilst children were next to her, i had my own 2 with me) not clearing the tables "we should put up a sign saying clear your tables" "they are to stupid to clear the tables, now I have to do it" Maybe she doesn't realise that, yes unfortunately that it is her job after all. Maybe if the bins were not overflowing (bins that were completely broken), customers could clear their own tables! She then moaned on, and on about not emptying the bins, the mind boggles!! The floor was littered with food, and no one attempted to sweep it. And the toilets were disgusting. No toilet roll, no hand soap, toilet roll piled in the sink as there was nowhere to put the paper you needed to dry your hands as the hand dryer wasn't working. It's a shame tou can't give 0 stars. This is one KFC to AVOID.......leave it for the rats in the bushes....and wipe your feet on the way out!!

We decided to have KFC way out to St Michael's Mount. Placed our order for 5 of us. Behind the til was Diane, she was very kind, helpful and also gave us optional. I'll give 5 stars for her hard work and support for customer & business.

Much better visit this time, staff were polite, food prepared quickly, generally much better. Glad to see they are finally getting their act together. ( used drive through, although the speaker for ordering was broken, the person at the checkout took the order and was polite and food was ready rapidly)

Clean restaurant, quick service and good price. Ladies bathroom was clean (didn't use the gents so cannot comment on that). All food we wanted to order was available. No wait times.

It's a KFC on a retail park and is good for where it is located. Service was a bit slow, but it was also towards the end of the day, which is likely the reason for it being slow. The tables weren't the cleanest.

This place needs sorting out the staff are rude the staff seemed to spend most of the time just gossiping not paying attention and making mistakes

The restaurant was closed so we had to use the drive in. One each of the chicken pieces were very small & too well cooked. We had hardly any chips in the packets, be careful they looked like skin on chips which 1 of us is allergic to.

Undoubtedly, this visit to KFC was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. I arrived in the late afternoon to find that half of the seating area was locked out, leaving people crammed around a few tables and order screens. Speaking of the tables, they were all filthy and sticky, as were the trays and order screens. Even the floor seemed neglected. While I understand that there may have been limited staff available, it was surprising to see such neglect across all areas simultaneously. This is something I haven't encountered in other KFC locations before. Moving on to the food, I ordered my usual meal, as I do at any KFC. I typically know what to expect, but this time, it was obvious that the food was overcooked. The once golden batter appeared dark-ish brown, giving the impression that it had been forgotten in the fryer and left sitting on a shelf for too long before being served in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the staff didn't meet expectations either. Some of them clearly weren't up to the task at hand. When I politely asked for an exchange of dips, their response was rude and accompanied by comments such as, "What? This is the last time I'm doing this." Eventually, the lady reluctantly exchanged the dips for the ones I had ordered. To my surprise, as I left the counter, I overheard the same lady complaining to a colleague about the "ridiculous" request from a customer, as if we couldn't hear her conversation. Overall, I must say this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a KFC. The limited seating, unclean tables, trays, and order screens, along with the overcooked food, were major disappointments. The unprofessional behavior of some staff members only added to the negative experience. I hope the management takes note of these issues and works towards improving the overall quality and service at this location.

Never seem to have enough food cooked. Told on more than one occasion it would be a 30 minute wait, place wasn't busy, the place is dirty and a mess.

I have had some of the best chicken times at KFC. Since the 70's. Occasionally, though, one falls short. KFC has changed the recipe quality, and you can taste the lack of flavour. And when served up by a guy who doesn't want to be serving there who pays lip service to your requests, it doesn't mean I'll be going back there often. Admittedly, it is easy to park, but it's the food we go for. And my experience yesterday was very lack lustre.

We are on Holiday and we have decided that this was the Best KFC we have been to compared to all our local one's in Hampshire.

Although it's had its share of problems in the past, today's visit was excellent. Food was freshly cooked and promptly served. The only delay was that only one of the two ordering stations was working, but we were early so didn't get caught in the queue which formed shortly after.

The epitome of "can't be bothered". Self-order displays were grimy as was pretty much everything inside. All tables and floors were littered with food scraps and crumbs, the surfaces sticky. My chicken filets were kinda soggy. Only the chips were okay, albeit unsalted. People working here are probably underpaid, so do better KFC, pay your workers properly and install some work ethics.

Super fast delivery by Uber eats, lovely delivery guy but the TINIEST portions of chips you have ever seen!!! Counted 10 in one of the boxes! Family bucket, a joke. Barely enough chips for 2 let alone 4 and over baked chicken, a couple of pieces being more like chicken wings than chicken portions. £22 far too expensive. Sorry will not be ordering again.

Rude staff, no full menu on drive through and when asked what box meals they have (because they are not on the menu) they told me they couldn't help me and I would have to go in store to see. Just a bad experience and the gentleman on the speaker phone was rude as anything. Train the staff to know the menu or put your FULL menu outside the store on the drive through like McDonald's do. Made me wait for food and took there time (again just difficult). Certainly will be making a complaint. Go McDonald's instead guys, the staff there are lovely and it's only up the road !

Went in before close and ordered a meal for myself and my family and we had to get a refund because they didn’t want to cook more chicken 20 minutes before they closed, waited longer to get a refund then it would of taken to cook the food. Really unhappy with the service hearing the workers swearing about our order (one party bucket).
