I paid over 30 pounds for a couple of burgers fries and shakes through deliveroo they turned up stone cold tasting like rubbery s*** I rang mac Donald's who said I had to speak to deliveroo deliveroo made no bones about it and on the site it said click to claim refund wow I have now been refunded the five pound delivery charge so it cost me 25 pounds to fill my kitchen rubbish bin I find this absolutely disgusting that a company like McDonald's should just pass the buck and take no responsibility for the disgusting bin fodder I received

Asked for double quarter pounder with extra cheese. Question is that a meal sir. Answer yes. Large please and make that 3 please. Only charged £16 odd. Is that correct I say. Yes says waitress, What table number. Answer table 13. Food arrives. 3 x double cheese burgers plus chips and drinks. No wonder I thought the price was cheap. Didn't complain just ate food. Will make sure order is correct next time

This needs to be a high paid skilled job, as you must be so technically minded & skilful to mess up the number of times they do when ordering . If I leave the drive thru another god dam time missing an item, I am driving my car through the drive-thru window. God damit.

2nd time in a month,tea with no milk given, and had a big tasty cold and thrown into the box almost. Did have time to pop back to complain.

This use to be a good outlet, but now most the staff have got bad attitude , the orders are wrong more than there right, 4 times in a row missing stuff , the food is cold , thrown together looks like crap before you have even eaten it , no care anymore on presentation , ice machine rarely working, ice machines have been around for 100 years yet a massive corporation like this can't find one that works , half the people don't speak English and understand your order, what has happened ,

Waited five minutes for soggy, luke warm chips and a quarter pounder that presumably had been run over by a steamroller prior to serving. Not cheap these days either, £6.59 including a diet coke which was the only bit not fit for the bin. I was in a rush, so didn't have time to complain, so left and bought a sandwich from the garage across the road. St Austell McDonalds, it was crap.

Jack ellis (employee) was so kind and helpfull, he spoke to me about my day, hes a super freindly and kind kid i hope ends up being manager one day!

Good food but if you look forward to ordering a large drink and receiving it half empty then this is the place to expect it every order

Food frozen cold, they refused to remake it or refund it. State things are made fresh for collection the time on the print out was an hour and 40minutes prior to having the order. They also forgot items

Spot the issue with this Bacon double cheeseburger. Well done, no bacon! Fries also cold. Not the first time and the reason why I seldom buy food from here any more. Just not worth the hassle of going back to complain.

Food was actually very nice! One of the freshest places I’ve been too. There is a lack of parking however which makes it difficult to park up. Staff were friendly and nice and food was quickly made. Don’t see why this place has so many negatives.

Checked closing time online 12 pm drove there after work arrived 23:30 and they are closed 🤷🏻‍♂️ checked online again closes midnight 🕛🤯 I’m looking through the window and back at my phone that clearly states they are open but they are not ! Lights on employees milling around but cone blocking the drive through and the doors won’t open ! Thanks for wasting my time and fuel ⛽️ I won’t be back.

Used drive through as it should be easy, but we were obviously being difficult. Ordered a large meal, added ok. Then large nugget meal, can't do that. Then queried why showing no ice in drinks - coz we don't have any, as if we are stupid. Cancel please! It felt like serving us was a personal favour.

Fast food ? The last couple of months it’s been horrendous. Tell everyone to go and park up, yet there is no where to park ! Every time I have gone there have been 2-5 cars plus myself all parked up in ridicules places and the poor workers can’t find us ! All the nearby spots are taken up by uber and deliveroo drivers which is a joke and the rest are people eating in or the other facilities that also use the same car park ! By the time the foods got here I’ve already been waiting 10-15 minutes plus which is shocking and the whole drive through is practically empty so why tell us to park up !?!?!? Honestly overall a joke the only good thing is, that the food is still warm and nice but I’m not sure how long that will last for now seeing as every other aspect has gone down hill !

Mc rib is not good and food is expensive, only reason they get two stars is for service, service is usually very good

Me and family stopped eating McDonald's..I've done my research and it's disgusting what I discovered about them and where meat is coming from. My advice is to stay away from MC.

Quick and easy breakfast with the 7sual decent service. Food quality and atmosphere as expected.

The usual run of the mill McDonald's like other outlets. Popular with the local crowd. Parking is reasonably available though some spots are tight to access. The Manager was very helpful when requested for assistance with the App.

Terrible delivery service. Food was frozen cold when outside is 20 degrees. No possibility to complain on the app. Driver totally unable to communicate in English. He was keep sending me messages in Russian language despite I clearly stated I can’t understand him. I felt vulnerable to open the door to someone who clearly didn’t want to speak English and told me to translate on an app.

Arrived at an empty McDonald’s and made my order, only to be told to go and park up as there is a wait for my food… empty restaurant, empty drive through. After waiting almost 10 minutes and watching several other cars go through the drive through and leave before me, my food arrived. This happens time and time again at this particular McDonald’s, nowhere else. I put it down to either bad training, or bad staff, either way this place is crap

Don’t use APP to order food, it says ordered successfully but we waited for 45 mins and asked the staff, they said they have issues with their APP and our order failed. Don’t order just a free drink with redeeming your points, coz they can’t even be bothered to call your number, they just left it to the side and waiting for you to beg them for it.

They seem to have changed the potatoes for chips. At first I sent then back as they tasted undercooked but the second batch came out the same and staff mentioned this is the new brand.

Ordered from Mc Donald’s St. Austell four burgers and chips with drinks and flurries to be delivered to our home. Only our drinks and flurries arrived. Had to re order and wait for the burgers and chips.The problem being this happens every time we order but never this bad where none of the burgers and chips have arrived. We were not impressed!

Bad experience today at St Austell McDonalds. Ordered and paid for a double BigMac and when I got home I had only been given a standard one.

Got charged twice for same meal. Given one meal and told would be sorted. App didn't work. Phoned again. Was promised a call next day - never came. Still chasing answers or replies.

Staff friendly and place is very clean. Chips were super salty and couldn't drink milkshake as was so thick, even after 30 mins it still hadn't melted enough to drink

Lovely McFlurry after some initial troubles finding the deserts section on your interactive order screen n.b. during summer months the shortcut for desserts could be more effectively reached if placed higher in the ordering hierarchy. Very poor traffic flow within the retail park though I cannot lay the organisation of this purely at your feet. A somewhat layered texture of atmosphere could also be greatly improved with a tiered seating system or similar. Overall a great experience.

this is the second time I've ordered a hot drink to have it tip all down my front. on checking the lid which wasn't the problem , somebody had pinched the rolled lip around the edge bet they had a right laugh as they handed to me along with the have a nice day ! next time I go I'm checking it before I leave .

Nothing better than ordering a McDonalds, it not only being colder than an Eskimo’s nose but it looked like if had been made by Stevie Wonder. On ringing McDonald’s they said they wouldn’t do anything to fix their error. The Family meal has gone in the bin.

I’ve been every corner of England I get 3 triple cheeseburgers no tomato sauce Big Mac sauce no problem the fat jobsworth girl with glasses on can’t be trusted tells more lies than the joker himself she’s there for the free McDonald’s and nothing else horrid person she is

Nice restaurant with ample seating. Toilets were clean. Restaurant was spotless inside and out. Food was fast, hot and cooked perfectly. Staff were polite and friendly. We dined in so cannot comment regarding parking or drive through.

Doesn’t seem matter if you use the drive thru or uber delivery there is always parts of the order missing. The last 3 occasions using uber delivery has resulted in items missing. Fortunately uber refunded. However how does this keep happening? And it’s not just small items such as dips, last week 4x drinks and 4 x mcflurries missing, and a burger requested plain due to food allergies was not!!! Today the fries missing. These bags are checked and then sealed so it’s down to the morons employees at the restaurant. The level of incompetence is unreal with dog 💩 management and training to blame! Advice: Don’t use a delivery company and always check and double check your order. In fact just avoid this branch altogether.

Well where to start I ordered on the McDonald’s app and when it arrive in good time may I add half the order was missing so I rang the customer service number and got a refund of £4.73 to which my order was over £40 to only have to reorder what was missing which cost over £10 as it was a small order and when I rang again they said it was Uber eats fault which it is not it’s a McDonald’s fault for not checking the order correct and sending it out, disgusting behaviour from the call centre team who told me that £4.73 was the price of the meal which it is not!!! If they can’t deliver the right items they shouldn’t deliver at all!!!

Standard MacDonalds fare, I used the app to order and the wait was very short, the food was fresh and hot and was of good quality. I had no complaints with the food or service and the staff were friendly and helpful. Obviously this is MacDonalds and not one of the 'posh' overpriced arty farty Michelin chef type places. Enjoyed the food but unfortunately had a bit of slippage from the burger which made a mess of my brand new jeans but that is my problem and I won't be taking legal action against the company any time soon. Sorry for the convoluted long review and apologies if you have read it this far, hopefully it will count towards my next @google review badge., but if you want a macdonalds and if you are in the area this is the place for you.

Ordered two milkshakes and a coke, got two milkshakes and a coke, would recommend.

No queue at the drive-thru, but found out why after paying. Everyone just being sent straight through to an overflowing collection area, taking over whole car park. Disorganised chaos. Order correct but food noticeably less hot than usual.

Worset ever experience with a mcdonalds 10 minutes to make a order only to find it was wrong. burgers looked like they had been stood on wouldn't return 😕

Ordered two wraps... one came out fresh and hot the other was lukewarm at best... mcflurry had been waiting near heat as they were melted and the cold drink was diluted because the ice had melted in it... freshly cooked one item but not the other!

Food was quite good, hamburger was flatter than a young boy’s chest but tasted alright. Saw a woman get denied changing her mayo on a mccrispy which was a shame. Probably the cleanest McDonald’s I’ve seen, places that you wouldn’t think to clean were clean.

Not to Bad as a restaurant went with my family for a treat food was average for mc Donald’s the only thing I can moan about as being asked to fill in a survey on my receipt I am sure this the last thing that can be done after we left but to be asked by a customer service staff while we was eating is a bit too much so we left and will not return to mc Donald’s

Went to get maccies for tea as a treat it come to £45 for half of my food to be missing or wrong. It’s not the first time to happen at this McDonalds.

Absolutely dreadful service.It was slow from placing the order to the food being delivered, only to find food was missing. The restaurant blames the uber driver for not picking up all of the order the uber driver blames the restaurant for not putting it all in.And you the customer is out of pocket for food that has been paid for and not delivered. You call the restaurant (the people that have made the mistake)only for them to tell you to call the number at the bottom of your receipt. It amounts to nothing more than theft. Lesson learnt. Delete the app.

Whole order stone cold, not the first time this has happened. They will blame the delivery service but we live not 2 minutes away. Manager will then blame it on a busy night but that doesn't excuse the sloppy cold food. Obviously not checking any orders before they send them out

Strange addition to our McPlant...

Went in on the way to work today Sunday 26th November . Thought I would try their flatbread and a coffee at around 8.30 am . No receipt came out of the machine which I was surprised at at that time of morning. I was the first number to come up on their screen which was number 26 . So I waited . Customers came in and 3 Customers 27,28,29 where served before me so after 15 mins I asked an employee why I hadn't been served and others served before me . He couldn't give me a good explanation so i asked where the manager was . Infact she was in front of me but with her back to me . She turned around and tried to say it depended on the order of food , which I know wasn't right and as I told her it doesn't take 15 to 20 mins to prepare a flatbread and a coffee . She didn't offer me a sorry in any form or a refund for the inconvenience. I mentioned that it wasn't busy that time of morning and God help them when it does get busy to which she replied she had to walk away from the conversation. She wasn't interested at all . Definitely not how a manager should deal with a customer who has a complaint. Wouldn't advise anybody to go here early in the morning .

Tried to go in today with my autistic son, he was in a massive meltdown so we couldn't eat in, just want to thank Mike for being so amazing , reassuring us and helping us get all our food together to leave and being kind to my son, what a lovley member of staff.

Such a shame they get orders wrong so often milkshakes it's pot luck if they have them we now have to check food before driving off as have kids with allergies and have to have no cheese and one time our boy had a reaction and when looking could see were cheese had already melted to the food and they had tried to remove it which is completely unacceptable and the drinks you get less and less in drinks that are suppose to have cream have the smallest of amount that by time it gets to your table it's gone they have definitely just about making the most profit as possibly can it's such a shame as when these type of places first start the owners want to provide good food at good prices then get took over by people that just want fatter wallets

Well after coming to my local mcdonalds today it has definitely gone down hill Last week we was basically held hostage in the drive threw by some idiot refusing to move his car at the front of the line for around 25 min , I know it wasn't the staffs fault but it made me really late for an appointment and our food was cold Today I ordered food with no bacon and I got bacon they kindley made me a fresh one ,only to hear the cook tell the lady on the till ,,new wrap extra bacon which they both laughed their heads off also the system to recycle all the thousands of rubbish items ,,great idea ,but what's the point when the lady who was emptying the bins got all the stored recycling and shoved it in with the general rubbish so what's the point !!!

Take away. Click and collect so can't say more and be fair.

Standard McDonald's but when we visited it was like a bomb had gone off in the toilet

I ordered on line a meal ...it took over an hr to arrive .. when it did it was freezing cold!!! The ice cream and milk shake had melted. And to top it off I had a lump of brown lettuce it put me off the meal it went in the bin!!!!.. the chips were cold floppy and gross .. won't ever eat from there again !!!!!!

Awful. Third order in a row where they've messed it up. First two times they forgot an entire item from the meal, and the third time delivered two wrong items and spilled the drink everywhere and uber driver handed me a soaking wet dripping bag. The cup only had about an inch of drink left in it! Just as bad when you go in person as well, always forgetting parts of your order and long wait times. Would rather drive to Cornwall Services to get maccies than go here and it's my local one. :/

I throughly enjoy my trips to McDonalds Pentewan Rd, St Austell. I live locally and whenever I visit the staff are so friendly and kind. They do there utmost to keep it clean, the cleanliness is great. McDonald's is value for money. I will return.
