Visited newquay today looking forward to sightseeing and enjoying the sun but my day was inexplicably ruined by the very rude woman serving us at subway. Firstly, she did not have a name badge on, probably wasn’t wearing it on purpose given the way she speak to customers. She was extremely rude to the 2 separate customers in front of us, and I’d noticed her picking up bits of meat so clumsily that they were dropping into other containers i.e. I could clearly see bits of chicken and peppers mixed in with the steak. Unacceptable as this could cause someone with a serious allergy to be violently ill or something more serious. She needs sacking or a serious talking to about her attitude or retraining as she cannot interact with people in a normal manner.

Girl serving with tattoos and glasses had a serious attitude problem, moaned because I ordered something extra, should be sacked, if you don't like the job get another one. Vile attitude and vile atmosphere all because of her

Awe had a late night sandwich here as its one of the only places open after 11. Great staff.

There was 2 people working, one was doing the sandwiches, the other doing the till. The man doing the till was annoying the other one and was an awkward dynamic to be in. It felt like one was bullying the other and that they were being very unserious and did not have their attention on the customer. extremely disappointed.

My waffle fries were cold and I never reviewed my drink or cookie that's part of the meal deal

I asked no onions annd peppers i am allergic onion and i dont like peppers i even but a commment no onion no peppers but still.

We was served by the lovley lady barbie who corrected our order and made sure we was looked after. She's a great member of the team. Thanks barbie 😊

Absolute rubbish. I ordered delivery from there today. They sent the wrong size sub, which was missing the hash browns I paid extra for. I ordered Tropicana orange juice and they sent Oasis instead which is a sugary drink. The sub was sloppy and messy with most of the fillings outside of the bread just in a mess. I've been to 2 other Subway locations and this is by FAR the worst. Whoever made up my order can't read, can't follow instructions and can't even make a sandwich!

Subway is subway but the staff are sound.

Terrible, food arrive stone cold

Part of the order (hash browns & pigs in blankets) wasn’t available but staff were happy to substitute these for a sub on the menu. Delivery was quite long, took almost an hour and a half after ordering. Once arrived, the subs were not cheese & toasted as requested which was disappointing. The food was lovely, but the highlight was the lovely American gentleman who served us. We didn't catch his name but my word he is a credit to the subway brand. The man deserves all the happiness he gets & a massive pay rise / promotion to CEO of subway at the minimum.

Lovely little restaurant. View to die for,, but so understaffed and slow, cold footlong and dirty filter in the coffee machine left a bad experience. Room for improvement. Get on it subway!

rubbish. hair in sandwich. overpriced for a basic tuna salad roll with drink for near 7 pounds when ad in window states 3.99 for sub crisps and drink...yet of course its only on 1 sandwich nobody wants. asked where the toilet was and oh we havent got one.. really no facilities for paying customers.

The sandwich didnt come with double cheese which I added and the nachos didnt come with jalapeños

Very bad experience from subway in newquay specially staff steven very rude Two staff they took other order before completing our order we were waiting for a long time with kids but they were very rude and when they have not give our ordered we ask them about or order the staff. Steven told us need to queue again We said we already ordered But they were insulted in front of others even we paid our bill for all orders we have done

Saturday 30th March, 1:30am the sandwich they/them man was a legend. Potentially the greatest sandwich I’ve ever eaten and I had front row seats to watch this genius at work, me and my friends were truly privileged, stay safe Mr Sandwich x (Atmosphere was a four because the other customers in there were boring)

Absolutely disgusting. Myself and my sister ordered a sub each. My subway was meat and my sister is a vegetarian. No gloves changed and the lady making our food was rubbing her face with the gloves on and proceeding to make our sandwiches. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Cornwall services subway is much better !!!!

Manager steven was very unhelpful, racist to my friend (would not serve him nacho chickens) wouldn’t not come here again

The delivery driver was lovely and on time but my garlic slice was dry, had hardly any chew and practically no garlic and it was cold and so was my sandwich, which also wasn’t cut properly or packed well as when I opened it everything had fallen out.

A lot of the order didn’t turn up but was only able to claim back 2 items, I was also down a bottle of coke and an ice cream. Wasn’t a big order and no excuses for me not being able to recoup my loss- food was also cold

Some items were missing. However, the food was on time and tasted great.

Went there at 5:45 and it says it shuts at 8pm. Was slightly confused as the door was shut but all the lights was on there so I called up to see if they was open a man answered the phone and sounded extremely weird and rude so I asked if they was open and he just didn’t answer so I made sure I had definitely called the right subway and he said I had so I asked if they had shut early which he just said they had and nothing else. Extremely weird and dodgy don’t recommend.

The gentleman that was serving here alone on the day I visited absolutely deserves recognition!!!! He was putting together a lengthy uber eats / just eat order, whilst ensuing the queue was informed and well managed. He had the patience of a Saint whilst my children made their request, the food he prepared was great quality, all fresh, well packaged and accurate and combined with friendly attentive service. 10/10, he absolutely deserves a couple of colleagues to support him at the counter !

Visited this evening to get some cookies. Lovely friendly guy in there. Great service, however the thing I'm not happy about, is the fact he's a young person working in there all alone until 2am in the morning!! That's absolutely disgusting! He was clearly uncomfortable with the group of young lads being served before us. What happens should he have an accident? Or calapses whilst there alone? Who's there to help him? Or a group of people or individual comes in to cause trouble? This is absolutely disgusting for an enployer to put an employee in this situation. Sort it out! You heartless, money grabbing, selfish corporate idiots!

Got the wrong bread, cheese on doritos in one spot and not scattered

They forgot my side which was meant to be with the footling meal deal and they didn't put sweetcorn, pickles, red onions , crispy onions, olives and sauces on both of the subs I ordered, shocking service I probably won't be ordering from here again now.

The subway was cold and soggy on arrival and looked unappealing. I will not be ordering or recommending it to anyone. Far from value for money when quality was so poor.

Multiple item freezing cold and sandwiches look battered

Extremely slow service despite empty store, employee were not so keen on taking orders and had an extremely casual approach. Couldn’t even understand or act on basic requests regarding my subway preparation. Not sure how they were hired.

Everytime I order I am missing an item or multiple, wrong order, or very small portions.

I'm starting to think the store does this on purpose. Multiple times, now, I have been given a pork product sandwich when something else was ordered. I'm Jewish and I DO NOT EAT PORK. Why can't they get this right? I ordered a steak melt and got an all-day breakfast containing bacon and pork sausage. It's so frustrating!

Every order I have had from subway, has been missing items or stone cold, just a miserable service from top to bottom, food was ordered at 17:15 with an estimated 20 minute, wait time, I received it 18:40 with missing drink and no time to eat due to work at 19:00.

perfectly delivered as not expected. i am always happy to assist someone clearly new to the area to find such an easy and obvious destination, especially when i am made to feel geographically ignorant on an expected phone call, regardless of the obvious location that was set for us to collect at.

Very unhappy! Right in town so i went inside. Long queue but expected being busy. Was told we had to wait for delivery orders to be placed first. No tuna (at 11 a.m.) nothing prepared to replace food. Dirty tables not been cleaned, probably from breakfast. No cold drinks from self machine and ice maker broken. Not enough staff and those that were there were useless! Lots of unhappy customers. Such a shame in a busy summer place. I would never go back there!

Missed the cheese out of our meal

Very run down Half of it was shut.Could not sit down That part was shut. Thay didn't have eny meat balls wich is what I wanted. So I had a Texas sub wich was good. The staff member there all on his own I thank his name was neale he was very thin had glass and a noise ring on the left side. 😔😔😔😔😔

Rude staff, I was over charged for a child's meal deal and didn't receive all of the meal. Had to wait for a refund of a drink. Very very poor service. Plenty of other places in Newquay to eat and always check the receipt here.

My kids enjoyed the food but this place needs a good sweep up especially outside as there's litter everywhere.

After my food was over an hour late, my sandwich was unedable. The bread was rock hard, too hard to eat

Went today, ordered 4 very simple 6" sandwiches. There were 4 staff working which should've made the service quick, however...3 of the staff were concentrating on Uber/just eat orders which left the inexperienced member of staff to look after a queue of around 20 people. When the other staff finally came to help, saying they were extremely rude & disrespectful would've been a compliment for the It's fair to say we won't be going back & hopefully Subway actually act on all these reviews & put your staff through customer service training, rather than ignore them!

The customer service was appalling and not at all friendly. Sandwiches were sloppy and the bread stale. They also didn't have the gluten free bread. I suggest you stop hiring kids to work unattended during the summer season!

please avoid as awful service. I asked for a cup of coffee and a biscuit but told the biscuits were 'too hot to serve'. I asked for a biscuit in the glass cabinet, but told they were 'vegan'. Said I was ok with vegan, but I was ignored. awful attitude and service, and certainly will never go back.

It's broadmasters so very busy, took a while to get a driver. Wedges, no sauce, the rest was lovely.

No seasoning or dip, wrong crisps and drink

Visited Newquay subway and another horrible experience! It was a lunchtime weekday. Granted Newquay was busy but a long wait as the server prepared delivery orders first. Only 3 servers and one was at the till twiddling her thumbs whilst the other 2 scrambled to sort out phone orders, instead of helping customers in line. No tuna available and none extra prepared so i had a slivering of tuna on my sub as she scraped out what she could. Why had no-one prepared enough food for the day? It was only 11.30 and they were out of ingredients! The place itself was nasty, food on the tables and floor and i had to clean my own table before i could sit down. Absolutely disgraceful! I will never visit a Subway in Cornwall again, as this was the 2nd visit whilst on holiday! I live on the Isle of Wight and the Subways in Ryde and Newport are lovely and clean, with plenty of supplies of ingredients available for the subs at all times! Inspectors need to visit these 2 locations as these premises are not up to required hygiene!

Food is stone cold and soggy and the delivery was nearly two hours late. Clearly this was made as the order came in and sat around for hours.

Ordered a meatless meatball marinara and received something totally different, can’t even identity what it is. Missing half of the order too. Paid for a large meal deal and only received the sub and drink. Wedges were very undercooked and the chicken in the other sub was pink so had to be picked out. Spent £30 and got rubbish.

Why say it's delivered when you it hasn't actually been delivered. This is the second time this has happened. You have my phone number.. call me.

Baguette over done hash browns over done n then left them to go cold had to ask where the hash browns are they closed inside seating before half 3 even though it doesn't shut till 5 same with outside seating also packed away nowhere to sit then
