Amazing 10/10! Great service and amazing food!!

Food is delicious. Service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Restaurant is clean and well organized. I usually come here for lunch, but ate dinner tonight with 3 friends. We each really enjoyed our respective dishes.

Food is very good and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is their drink options, which are very minimal. It's BYOW, so take a bottle of you want wine with your meal. Otherwise, you get water, tea, or coffee.

Istanbul grill is the perfect place (and only place) to get that Mediterranean/Turkish food itch at the Fort Worth area. I came here last year with a bunch of my friends and do recall the portions being much bigger and quite tastier as well and unfortunately wasn’t able to recapture that exact experience the second time around. However the food is still quite delicious despite the smaller portions. The vibe/atmosphere is also really nice with Turkish styled lamps hanging from the ceiling adding to the ambiance. I’m hoping they bring back the old serving sizes as it was great for value as well. All in all pretty cool!

There food is nothing like meditrainian food

The beef kabob was wonderful, hummus could have used a little more flavor. They were very nice and accommodating.

However, it would be beneficial if they allowed plate sharing, especially for those who prefer to control their portion sizes. Regarding the cuisine, while the chicken dish was flavorful, the heavy use of tomato sauce and oregano gave it more of an Italian flair rather than the expected Turkish influence. Despite this deviation, the baba ghanoush and hummus were standout dishes, boasting authentic flavors and smooth textures that pleased the palate. Additionally, the tabbouleh and rice with vermicelli were notable highlights, offering refreshing and savory accompaniments that complemented the meal perfectly. While the fusion of flavors may stray from traditional expectations, the quality of the dishes ensures a satisfying dining experience.

Amazing experience, Service was excellent, the meat was so juicy and fresh, we ordered falafel it was very yummy, it came with tzatziki sauce and it was the best pairing 😋😋 we also ordered different types of meat (for 2) it was 39.99$ oh my.. it was so juicy and soft. It came with rice and backed veggies. The portion was so big that I think it’s even enough for 3 people.

Place is great, service was very good and the people there very helpful describing the menu and recommending us the food base on our preferences.

I love this restaurant! I usually go for lunch and the lunch special of an appetizer, lunch main and drink is great. The hummus, babaganoush, and cigarette borek are especially good appetizers. Also, the beef kebab is tender and delicious. Usually cooked medium rare, which I prefer. The iced tea is also delicious. I am not sure what tea blend they use, but it is very fragrant and not your standard iced tea. The rice / vermicelli they serve with most meals is fluffy and seasoned well.

Really good service. Went with a party of 11 and service was on point. Food was really good and a lot of it. Went home with leftovers! Small restaurant, nothing special for design, but you can tell they put their heart into the food and service!

I ordered one Iskander Kebab to go. I waited 10 minutes and gone I was. I arrive at work and open the food box to find this strange "Iskander Kebab" dish. It was nothing like the actual iskander Kebab. There was no yogurt in the whole meal. They actually added rice instead of yogurt. So basically, I'm supposed to eat a meal of just minced meat over cut up bread and rice. What the heck is that? I was craving Iskander Kebab and this really annoyed me.

Wow! This place is a must! The service was AMAZING! All the waiters were involved and we never had to ask for anything, they were very attentive. The food…omg! It was all amazing. We got the cold trio, hot mix, I got a shepherds salad and the Chicken Tava! It was all amazing. Everyone at the table was constantly eating and saying how amazing it was! The atmosphere was simple. It was very clean and not to flashy and just pleasant!

Loved the lunch special. Had lentil soup and beef kebabs and pita bread. Everything tasted great and was cooked perfectly.

Food was great lamb plate is delicious. The chicken plate was very tender. Waiters was very nice the place needs a bit of an update. Overall it was reasonably priced and the quality of the food delicious.

My wife and I have been eating at Istanbul grill about 2 times per month for several years. Everything on the menu is delicious. I will usually change my order every time, so I have been able to try almost everything they offer, and it's all great. The place is BYOB, so bring a bottle of your favorite wine with you.

Dishes look pretty, but sadly they lacked flavor. There were no spices. You will need your salt and pepper on these dishes. The place is nice inside. Our waiter had no personality. Never asked us how our food was, if we needed anything, or even ask if we wanted desert. If you want outstanding Mediterranean Food, check out "Aladdin's" by Crowley Road. Their food is delicious.

Avoid at all cost serious I’m not one to post bad reviews messed up my whole order food was a 1 out of 10

A good quality large mixed kebab. All parts delivered separately packaged so was fresh and not soggy. Tasty and large portion.

Overall the food was okay, however when I made the order a lot of mistakes were made. For example I asked for chilli sauce and I got bbq sauce, I specifically asked for no cheese in the burger due to allergy’s however there was still cheese in the burger. This resulted in one person not being able to eat their food. The person who picked up the phone was not professional.

Firstly I think £22.50 is extortionate for kebab meat with chips and cheese plus burger and chips, but to then have to ask for the cheese that had been forgotten and have it slapped on with bare hands was disgusting. It was all greasy and I didn't expect to be picking the meat out that didn't have manhandled cheese on was a bit much and even though I live in Newquay I will never set foot in there again and will advise anyone's else not to either.

I recently stayed in Newquay Cornwall and stayed at the travel lodge for 7 nights. We couldn't get enough of the place. Pizzas kebabs were abousloty gorgeous. Back at Christmas and hopefully they will be open Christmas day

Asked for spicy pizza with no mushrooms, got a pizza with no spice and mushrooms after a looooong wait, I checked 3 times that he’d heard “no mushrooms” Took pizza back to be offered no refund or apology AVOID!!! Place obviously runs on ripping off tourists, I’m local and will never go back

Got a kebab and I thought kebabs were ment to be in the pitter bread not the bread plonked on top of the box and meat and salad in the box plus the bread wasn't even cut open and was hard

Beautiful atmosphere, seems clean.. but quality of meat is below average. Ordered Adana kebab and lamb shish kebob. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant knowing the quality of meat wasn’t good (could taste the flour) and the dishes came cold. For the prices we paid which was above average cost I’d expect something good.

This place is always a hit. I have tried several items over the years and all have been great, whether it's babaganoush, shepherd's salad, salmon or chicken kabobs, and chicken delight. And you have to order their baklava, no matter what kind of diet you might be on!

So I’ve been here before and it was really yummy then but this time was not that great. We ordered the mixed grill, falafel appetizer, and hummus. Basically the only meats I liked were the gyro and chicken gyro. The chicken kabob was dry and unpleasant. The hummus was good but not as good as I remember it. The pita was not as good as I remember either. Very dense not light and fluffy. I don’t know if I’ll be back.

Everything was amazing. They were busy but our drinks were refilled without us asking. Rice pudding was the best I've had. The chicken and salmon were moist and delicious. I love that they don't serve you a lot of rice to cheap out on protein. This will be my new spot!

It really was a good place. The vibe was good, the food was good, and the staff was good as well. Try the Adana Kebab. You won't regret it at all.

Ordered a mixed shish and doner kebab, a chicken kebab & chicken pieces. It's safe to say that it was the worst Kebab and chicken I have ever eaten to date. The Kebab was just so off tasting, the chicken kebab did not taste like chicken breast or any other variant or part of a chicken. The chicken pieces were extremely dry and tasted like they had been reheated several times. The chips were whichever you may regard as being far from being fresh. Overall I'm giving it a 1 star because I have to rate it something, if did not have to do that I'd have just rated it nothing. To top that off their pricing is extortionate for the quality of food they are serving. I would not have minded the pricing had the food been good but sadly it was atrocious.

Amazing food, amazing hot tea, beautifully decorated and wonderful staff! We had a fun and relaxing double date night here.

Food was good, a bit overpriced. I ordered the $20 appetizer sampler and it was smaller than my husbands lamb kebab meal that was $17. These use the spongy Greek pita bread which isn’t that great. Service was pleasant. Bathroom hallway area smells awful. Smells like open sewer. One last thing that was not so nice was when I walked to the bathroom, when walking passed the kitchen, I watched the waitress moving falafel around on a plate to be served with her bare hands.

My 1st time here. I'm not real big on new food places but i really enjoyed this place. Food & service were great & they were very helpful with me & the menu do to my food allergies. I will go there again 👍👍

I have always enjoyed my visits here. It's a lot nicer than some of the other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. With the Era of covid, gone are the white table cloths. That was the only thing I've noticed different.

Drove 25 miles to eat here and they said they are closed and have not changed their hours on Google or even their window decal . So we drove 50 miles with 2 mall kids and they don't care to update their hours ?

Wow! What can I say other than WOW! The hummus was to die for, I had the Mussaka and my wife had chicken. Great. But the desserts... well what can I say... they BLEW OUR MINDS! Had the Baklava and the Kazandibi... just simply AMAZING! This is a definite return! Just great!

Wonderful fresh food in a nice open atmosphere. I had the lamb shank and it was so tender it literally fell off the bone. And this is the best place to get kneffe. Definitely my go to dessert.

Always our favorite place for a date night or a family date night. Didem and Sam are amazing owners that truly love and appreciate their customers like family. We have been coming here since right after they opened and we bring just about everyone we know here. There is something for everyone to eat, chicken, beef, veggies, seafood, lamb, beef, and a kids menu that includes French fries and chicken nuggets or Turkish food. The desserts are amazing, the Chai is great and the Turkish coffee will get you going lol. The atmosphere is beautiful and feels like home. Make sure you make reservations Friday and Saturday night because they get packed. You will not be disappointed!!!

First time here. Service and food were excellent. It is Bob so mo alcoholic served if you are wanting wine or beer with meal. A little pricey but food was good.

Ordered a pizza. Rang up and asked for garlic base not tomato. The gentleman on the other end of the phone was very polite. The order was delivered in quick time.all ingredients was fresh and pizza was lovely. A little salted. Sorry to say guys. It was stone cold. Please next order can you make sure its hot.

Authentic, calm atmosphere. For lunch they have a 2-course meal with a drinks included for about $12. I tried the cigarette borek and gyro sandwich. Both were delicious! Excellent service as well.

This is a great place to eat. I like the cold appetizer sampler, the baba ganoush and hummus are delicious. The Salmon salad Mediterranean style is great! My wife loves the Baklava

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. We were waiting over 2 hours for our food before requesting an update. They did not update, we rang and they told us the order was cancelled. It wasn't. Another hour past, we rang again once just eat updated AGAIN to say it was on the way. The restaurant realised they were wrong, and had read the request for an update as cancelled even though we already asked them to check multiple times to check the notification. No apology after over 3 hours of hassle due to their ineptitude. No offer for reduced price. Absolutely abysmal service. Worst service I have ever had. Also, girl who answered the phone claimed to be the manager but refused to give name so is probably lying too.

Whilst on holiday decided a takeout was in order. First time have had a meal from here. Delivered earlier than time given. Food was very tasty, cooked from fresh with a lovely crisp salad. Home made chilli sauce nice and spicy. Recommend.

I ordered lamb kebab with chilli sauce and chips to be delivered. There was mayo and chilli on the kebab. The salad looked like it had once been on someone else’s plate, bits looked bitten and I think that’s why it also had some Mayo on. The meat was so dry it snapped and the chips were green, only 10 chips were edible.. Photo of the chips attached to this review.

Special kebab and chips. Plenty of meat . Lots of varietie. Well cooked. What more can I say. It was good. Can only assume the negative reviews are from drunks who were disrespectful to the staff.

I rang up at 6pm to order a simple delivery of 2 chicken and chips for 8pm, to give them 2 hours to hopefully get it rite( just down the road) The delivery turned up at 7.30pm but we weren’t ready that’s why I ordered...

I'm not much for Mediterranean food, but this place is really good. The humus and the pita bread was tasty and the chicken I had was really good as well. I can't say I'll be a regular, but I'd go back.
