Dominoes pizza penzance in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Ordered a gluten free one. Was so cooked it was burnt to a crisp and I mean burnt to a crisp Was like touching ash. So inedible the sea gulls wouldn't touch it Will not be visiting again

On holidays. Ordered a stuffed crust and paid to collect. Got home to find standard thin crust. Also gobsmacked to find it cut into squares!!!! Never known that with a pizza. Don’t waste your time and money here at Penzance Dominos pizza.

Pleanty of space for few extra tables, why not add a few! No napkins, wash station, sanitizer, cutleries 🤦

Sat in to eat as it has a couple of tables. Piping hot food compared to having it delivered. 15 mins wait for order to be made.

Only giving it this score as when we ordered we where told it would be a 15 to 20mins wait which me and my Auntie said was fine. It ended up being a 55mins wait, there was a massive order they were working on but why did they inform us it would only be upto 20mins if they were going to take longer. The order screen said at 25mins that the order was ready to pick up but when I asked they said they were still waiting to put something in the oven, then it disappeared a few mins later off that screen. What's the point of that screen if it's wrong. After waiting 55mins we took our food to a beach to eat only to find one of the items was wrong, we didn't get the Chicken Strippers that we ordered we got the Chicken Knickers instead. Thank god they didn't give us spicy ones instead. I know big orders are important but maybe keep your other customers updated on their orders if they are going to be longer than you originally told them. We only got updated when we asked about our food. Haven't been to a Domino's in years and I might not come back for a few more years.

Right on the harbour front near to carpark,good selection of meals.

Missing 1 of 6 orders, called them and told them about it, haven't heard from them again, this is the second time they wronged me, I'm never ordering from any Domino's again.

I was walking along the street when I saw this Domino's location and said a pizza will be dinner tonight and it was. I like a thin crust pizza personally and I built my own like I usually get in the US.....Pepperoni, pineapple and red onion. Almost as good as the ones in the US. Bless the heart of the delivery person as he walked up those two flight of stairs of the hotel to personally deliver. Customer service from the phone to the door was brilliant! 👏

Can't no pay with cash. Need to order via the app.

Dreadful service. Whilst I can accept that orders can be messed up. Waiting nearly an hour for the correct order to be delivered was not acceptable. Rubbish attitude from second driver too. If you charge for delivery deliver !!! Don’t phone and say you are in the street for me to come out and collect!

This Domino's has massively improved since I first moved to Penzance. The food is always delivered really quickly and it tastes great. Really love the new-ish cheesy wedges. It's such a shame that the prices are getting out of control - you're looking at £35-40 for two people.

I ordered pizza for delivery tonight to kenegie Manor. The driver phoned me asking for directions but then my phone died as i was talking to him. So i phoned the store using my work telephone. I asked the Manager Richard if he could give me the drivers mobile so i can explain to him where my house is. but MR.Richard the manager refused to give the drivers mobile cause apparently if the driver cant find my place the driver is going to call him anyway.MY POINT HERE IS I WAS TALKING TO THE DRIVER anyway as he was asking for the directions. So i dont see your point Richard. It end up that our pizza got cold just because you are refusing for me to communicate straight away with your driver. Never gonna order pizza from you again.

Rude staff, got completly ignored when I walked in for my collection order and heard staff swearing when they had to prepare a pizza. Was in there for a good 5 minutes and the only person that was friendly was the bloke that appeared with my pizza.

We ordered a medium pizza and two sides for collection using the Domino's app. The app kept us updated at each step of the way and gave an estimated collection time when we placed our order and then updated us in the app when it was ready to collect. When we arrived at the shop we were greeted by a member of staff who very quickly brought our order to the counter. We were very happy with our food and it was still piping hot after walking back to our hotel.

Normally good but when busy they can forget order changes (eg no sweetcorn on my pizza order but I got sweetcorn on my pizza)

Ordered but couldn't pay so had to cancel it as they wouldn't accept cash!! I'm not supporting a cashless business!

i ordered my pizzas, sides drinks etc and it came 1h 20m later my pizza was not hot.

No seating, you need to takeaway the order.. outlet is easier to locate..no parking..

Pizza ordered with home delivery. Arrived really early and hot. The price is high for me but I'm used to the ones in Italy for pizza. I really wanted to try this Pepperonay since in Italy, in addition to having closed all the Domino's outlets, it wasn't even among the vegan ones on the menu. Ordered for home delivery, arrived quickly. Personally kind and smiling. As for the pizza, perhaps it is not the classic dough that Italians like, it is typical American, but good. Overall not bad, I really liked the Veg salami used. A sauce also accompanies it.

I know not to expect the best service when going to dominos. But, this was deplorable. I walked in to order on this occasion. After a short wait I was served. I asked for two plant based veggie Supremes with a couple of alterations. The clerk read the order back to me at which point I double checked by asking "yeah, plant based right?" To which he responded "yes". So I paid and waited the usual 20 minutes until the pizzas were ready. I noticed they had the regular garlic dips with them rather than the vegan ones; this triggered me to check the pizzas. Lo and behold, they were both made with regular cheese. I politely pointed this out to the guy who served me to which he responded "you didn't tell me". He then said I have two options "just take them and deal with it, or wait another twenty minutes". So I waited another twenty. The clerk asked me if I wanted both plant based. I said yes. I was then asked if I wanted vegan cheese or regular cheese on my plant based pizza. I, rather confused, said "vegan cheese please". Seems obvious. Twenty minutes later the new pizzas arrived I checked the top one and saw it was plant based. All good right? Alas not. I should have checked the bottom box because once I had returned all the way home I realised they had only made one new pizza and given me one of the first pizzas as well. To put the cherry on top. They had torn the order label off the box and taken my receipt from me when I collected the pizzas. So now I have nothing to cite if I want money back. Usually dominos is a safe option for easy vegan food. On this occasion it wasn't :(

Give credit where credit is due, even after they're running around like mad because of how busy it is they'll always do their best to ensure the customer is looked after ensuring the food is up to quality standard at the beginning and the end of the night. Absolutely fantastic place.

Positives...Ordering on line was easy and the food was delivered, our full order was present and correct. Negatives...pizza was cold, it was over cooked and it was bland. Not a good pizza at all.

Generally pizzas have been OK but they no longer accept cash payments - my son was refused a purchase yesterday because he only had cash - ridiculous to turn business away. Please change this policy.

I took my 3 year old grandson to get a pizza as a treat for being good, the two people working there, I believe their names are Wes & Sophie were so helpful & friendly. My grandson loved watching his pizza being made& was so chuffed when they congratulated him on being good at nursery. Thanks again guys one very happy nanny & little boy. Xxx

Nice pizza nice driver but it’s very pricey

Really nice food - lovely delivery driver and order was delivered quickly but the second time I've ordered coleslaw (to go with the chicken wings) and it's been out of stock - so the staff phone to let me know and offered a small drink as an alternative (the coleslaw is £1.99 so not a good alternative in my eyes - especially as the pizzas are quite expensive even with the discount that seems to be available most of the time)

Terrible, one order cancelled while sat waiting for delivery. Following order 20 minutes late for a timed delivery, like warm, missing s dip and one of the pizzas was wrong. Good luck domino's as the cost of living bites, we won't be risking our hard earned cash on such Terrible service.

Bad pizzas and staff are rude when I rang to complain about the pizza. Wouldn't go there again

If you order online and theirs a missing item from the order, theres not much chance that you will recieve it but still get charged, no refund. The driver is abstructive and provactive and no answer to emails. Do not buy online or better still go to Ricardos or simply put a store pizza in the oven. Great incentive intoduced for the drivers but poor service and very rude.

Was not good at all. They forgot our chicken bare in mind you work a week to afford the food. I rang at 10:50 they did not pick up (ignorant) would not recommend at all. Go to Sainsbury’s so much better.

Food as expected, but had no idea it was click and collect until we got there. Then no Internet or phone signal. Bit of a pain but we got the pizza in the end. Not the best service, but pizza was it should be from chain

After a few positive experiences over the last few months, we ordered a meal as normal. We made a special request which was completely ignored by the driver and then he proceeded to argue with me after shrugging his shoulders and trying to walk off. I drove to the store (Which i definitely shouldnt have had to do!) and thankfully the chap (Tom i think!?) resolved the issue. Cannot fault him. However the drivers need some training in how to speak to customer.

Arrived cold. Under cooked chicken. Frozen wedges. Burnt cookies. Not a good word to say about Dominoes Penzance. Completely disappointed. The girl I spoke to on the phone was absolutely useless and didn’t have a clue what was going on - Even asked if I had a microwave i could put it in. The gent i spoke afterwards to was more helpful but only offered us a repeat order or a coupon... wouldve much rather had our money back to order fold from elsewhere.

Ordered some takeaway pizzas from this dominos store very disappointing with the long wait 1hour and 45 minutes with missing items from my order phoned the store without any answer 7pm straight through to close so had to walk down the next day needs some work doing with this store my potato wedges was very cold and pizza had items I hadn’t ordered due to allergy’s that I had disclosed . 4/10 locals review

Pizzas were under cooked, stood outside for ages before anyone served us, as it was online order I didn't know the pizzas were actually ready and sat sweating under the heat lamp.

Very despoint with food and service the base of a pizza not cookd it was stayed raw bec they done it in rush bec of closing time and they offers contackless delivery but i expect the delivery person to be sensable and put the food some place clean or on the table or some think but he put the food on the floor whears 10000000 of ppl walk and 100000 of ppl may spit with out any bag or cover he just left the pizza box and the drink and on the floor so how this restrant meet the safty of coustomer and this kind of restarnt need to closedown all they want money and the delivery person put every think on the floor and run off so they dont cate of the well beeing of they coustomer or get covid 19 all they care they sales.

Ordered and collected within 10 minutes. Food was piping hot and good. Staff were very friendly and efficient, very good covid prevention.

Had an issue with the online ordering, payment was taken from my card however the order didn’t go through, had to drive up to speak to someone and got the cliche “we can’t do anything ring head office” ended up having to reorder the meal again and then they couldn’t find the deal they had going on and was charged even more... Staff are lazy and uncaring!

It looks good as you walk past. We ordered a delivery and it never turned up and no apology.

On holiday in Penzance. We have ordered from this take away 3 times now. The first occasion was fine, nothing spectacular but nothing wrong either. Second time was a nightmare. We ordered at 9.45pm and needed to amend the order. I attempted to contact the restaurant 19 TIMES, ringing until it rang off each time and could not get an answer. Assuming that the place has closed-even though we had paid online-we ordered another take away with the intention to reclaim our money back next day. 11.35, we received a knock on the door with our order. We had eaten by then so sent it back. The next day, I reclaimed my order money but raised a complaint. The manager was not in so I was told he would call me later, which never happened. When I called back I was spoken to by a cocky boy who refused to give his name when asked. The next day I phoned again and spoke to Sophie, who wasn’t the manager but relief from another store. Sophie was excellent. Very apologetic and restored some of my faith in Dominos. The rest of the staff were rubbish though!

Best pizza ever had, we had ordered veg supreme and it was freshly made BEST part was v friendly service, thanks to staff.

This is getting beyond a joke now! The amount of toppings that they miss out on is unreal! How hard can it be to read off of a list and put the ingredients on a pizza!? Dont get a half and half pizza. There will be a clear 2"+ line of no ingredients down the middles of your pizza. This includes cheese so enjoy the sauce and base! Its clear as days when opening your pizza. Sending a pizza back just causes 1 of us to have to wait which is not what is planned however we have done this on numerous occasions. Yes the pizzas taste nice but they never come with what weve actually ordered. I cant even remember the last time we got the right order without something being wrong. Dont waste your time here!

They get your order wrong at least 50% of the time and it's silly things. Given them a chance for 5 years now, done with the disappointment, i'll just make or buy better pizza elsewhere.

Just had a delivery which was rather Late, even though it’s a 2min walk from mine, when he arrived he didn’t even say sorry he was late and the pizza was cold, when I phoned up to complain again they didn’t give a %^*# and answered with alright. Won’t be ordering from the kids again they don’t get paid enough to care.

Did not receive my full order. Delivery driver said he would return with the missing items and didn't come back.

I've ordered Dominos to be delivered at 8pm and at 8.30pm I hadn't received anything even though the tracker said it had. I tried to call the restaurant 5 times, no answer whatsoever and I decided to go to the restaurant to see what's happening with my order. When I get there the restaurant is closed!!! Even though it says on the door it should be open until 11pm! This is unacceptable and I would advise everyone not to order from this place. Try Ricardo's pizzas instead!

I ordered a pizza to be delivered to us as it was part of a birthday meal. We ordered it for at 16.50 for delivery at 17.30 by 18.10 it still had not arrived. I phoned the shop and after twenty minutes finally got through. I told them we had to cancel the pizza as it was now to late. They agreed to cancel the pizza but not one word of why it was late and no apology.

It's a Dominos,they're overpriced,average quality but they deliver on time.Takes ages to order on line,saying all that I'll probably use again.
