Pizza Time in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Ordered the chicken wrap. Was really enjoying it until I came across a big piece of bone. Lucky I realised before taking another bite and swallowing it.

Poor kebab, certainly gone down hill. Asked for full salad and all I got was a tray full of lettuce. Donor kebab was cold, and pita bread was horrible. Cheesy chips were practically cold. So disappointed, won't be using them again! Not the first time this has happened either, gave the benefit of the doubt a few times and every time it's been awful!

I had a mixed kebab and it was banging! Well seasoned, well cooked, great portion size and really good sauces. I will definitely be back again!

Leon in there is fantastic, I wanted something off menu and he did all he could to cater to my request, it was so appreciated! The food was hot, fresh, thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a great end to the night :)

Just had delivery . It was cold chips was not fresh . Kebab and all in the bin disgusting. I’m not happy . I would not recommend to anyone. But the delivery man was polite.

We have used pizza time for many years & have always received good quality food & good service, but tonight, the first order placed this year & possibly the last was incomplete, very poor quality (swimming in grease) & very disappointing to receive. Quater pound burger bun was all wet & soggy with grease, grease was dripping out of the pizza box & pools of grease on top on the pizza, missing items from the order that arrived 40 mins after we had eaten. It will be some time before I thing about spending good money at this place again!! Shame as there are not many takeaways in the area

They forgot my daughters cheesy chips, they bought them straight out after I rang, no fuss.

The pizzas here are top notch and the staff helpful and friendly. Try one of the Combo deals where you get a pizza, chips and a drink. We always stop off here on the way back from a trip to Cornwall, it's only 5 mins off the A30. Recommended!

The prices are getting higher and higher, you might as well go out to a restaurant how much they charge here now! To top it off they are using less quality ingredients from what I can tell. We primarily used to go for my partner as she loved the pizza even she was disappointed, absolutely disgusting unless you like cardboard with fake cheese then pay top price for it go ahead! Their “stuffed crust” is not very stuffed…. As you can see from the photo. The actual Pizza dough flatter than cardboard……

The food I got was so good, you can tell it’s all freshly cooked by how hot it is when it arrives. Because my chips were in a cardboard box they hadn’t gone soggy from condensation like with the horrible plastic containers. Really good pizza. Even if there were a dominos in town I would still order from here!

Thoroughly enjoyed both Pizzas + chips salad could have been a bit more exciting, overall would definitely use again thank you to the delivery driver too who was very polite

Avoid like the plague!... I placed an order online through Foodhub. I pacifically asked for No Salad and No Sauce as I have food allergies. The food arrived and to my surprise was covered in sauce & salad. The chicken was dry & rubbery and the chips were also dry. I called Pizza Time to ask them to rectify this by sending a new order only to be told I could have a refund but that would also come with a lifetime ban.. Pizza Time have now blocked my phone number and as expected, No refund has been issued!. I will be contacting Trading Standards on Monday... Only giving 1 star as there is no option for 0 stars!....

Order from here regularly. Can order on the app for delivery so super easy. Particularly recommend the chicken/bacon burger.

Pizza is very solid, the kebab is hit and miss. Well worth going though.

I came in today to order some food and there were no customers in the shop and the staff weren’t doing anything in the back so it seemed like the wait shouldn’t be too long for just a burger and chips, however it was a long wait stood outside in the cold and my food was not satisfactory, I asked for a cheeseburger, yet there was no cheese. And the chips were almost hollow. Usually good food however I was let down recently.

Never had a bad experience myself. Nice tasty food. Normally go for a pizza or a chicken kebab after a few cider's lol.

Lovely takeaway. Ate here twice during a trip to Devon, staying near Launceston. The thin and crispy crust pizza is amazing and the turnaround time between order and collection wasn't too long either. Shop looked clean too. I would recommend this takeaway.

They serve decent, fresh takeaway food here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their prices are competitive, in fact I drive here rather than a slightly closer place as their food and costs so much better. They serve Pizza, kebabs and burgers and never had an issue with any of them. Their Chefs Special is utterly fantastic and tasty. Highly recommended for local area!

We stumbled across Pizza Time on our way home from a day on Dartmoor, it was late, we were hungry and a bit teasy - my friend decided upon Pizza Time as we drove past, I was however dubious! He returned with something that put a smile on my face......a pizza to rival that of the one in Breaking Bad..... A 16 inch beauty to share! We have returned numerous times since and have never had a bad experience, pizza always cooked perfectly and the chips crisp with a sprinkle of seasoning. Worth a visit!

Still sat here 40 minutes after placing an order for 2 pizzas whilst everyone else comes and goes. No communication. Probably just a fluke judging by the other reviews but that’s the experience we’ve had.

We purchased £34 worth of food on Sunday night and it was not worth the upper prices, we could have gone out to a nice restaurant and spent that on good food. I have never had an issue with them before but the person serving obviously didn't listen as once we got home out kids popcorn chicken and chips was chicken nuggets and chips. Our doner meat was a doner kebab which was much more expensive and our burgers has mayo and relish where it was requested without! Poor customer service, poor quality and prices through the roof!!

Used to be great value for money, unfortunately not the case anymore. Prices do go up, I understand that, but you can’t put prices up by £2 and then add a £2 delivery charge as well. £1 extra for a sprinkling of cheese on your chip. Wrap meals have gone up to £8! It used to cost us around £30 for 5 of us to get food, it’s now £30 for 3 of us! Absolutely disgusting. Will be using Lansan Kebab house from now on.

Phoned for a large( ish ) delivery order on Saturday night for ourselves and our guests. We live a little way out of town so was prepared for a little wait. No need, food was delivered within 25 minutes and was piping hot and delicious. Girl who took the order on the phone was patient and polite and the delivery guy found us straight away when many before him have failed to .Great food , great staff and very good sized portions. Highly recommend.

bro. right ok i know this may sound unreal but i went there and got given a kebab that didnt have any salad in it. i was fuming i love my lettece mate. i always hav this kebab after i two foot my 4 year old after he fails to bring me my carling. would go again tho lovely people.

Helpful and happy staff and fast service, very happy and will use many more times. Only thing is it states they do deliveries inside and outside of Launceston but last two times i have tired they have told me "Not today" which is disappointing

Can't imagine this place will stay in its current owner/managers hands much longer. Extremely rude and arrogant, changes prices on each visit, and happily over charges. Often the food ordered over the phone isn't what you get and he couldn't care less. The food itself varies in quality from day to day, sometimes hot, but mostly luke warm and soggy, fries often burnt to a crisp and over salted. Pizza's oozing in grease and don't resemble website/leaflet pics at all. If the guy puts his prices up soon, he always does when it comes to school holidays, I think it's days are numbered and the name will change.

Food is great and cooked fresh which is always good a little long on waiting but it was busy in there. Just pre order if I was you.

*UPDATED REVIEW* Nice takeaway, come in for the large cheesy chips a few times a week and they are amazing, perfect amount of cheese for the large portion of chips none go too waste, cheese melts and the chips stay warm well worth the £3.50. come in sometimes for a cheeky 1/4 meal with tango and it sure does hit that spot. pizza is great but can sometimes be a little greasy and the sauce to burger ratio is on point. the chips absorb the seasoning well and gives a nice outer crunch with a soft inside. burgers are amazing, the buns arent left soggy and i know i orderd a burger not a side salad the salad keeps the burger crunchy with the right tastes and the sauce comes in and gives it that kick, the ratios are good with everything here, The drinks, always cold but not too cold that i cant hold the can and staff are friendly. garlic bread is soft but crunchy on the edges makes my mouth drool. i haven't yet had any kebabs from here but a expect the too live up to these standards, ill update this review once i have tried the large kebab meal. Update: since writing the review i have had the large doner kebab meal with burger sauce and the Doner kebab wrap meal, the Donor, dont get me started was juicy. Full of flavour and moist, cooked too perfection. Had the pita full of doner more than i had expected, took a bite and had the hit from the doner then the sauce it wrapped it all up sending me in for another bite, once again pizza time, the ratios are on point the donor was the perfect amount for what i want from this kind of amazing takeaway and the sauce was not too much nor too little with the perfect amount every singe bite. Chips live up to the same standard crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, they are not left to rest between orders so always left hot when opened making this donor kebab the best i have EVER eaten. pita is not left greasy or soggy like others iv had. finshed feeling full and happy for the food i have gotten with £7.50. Wrap meal, fab, wrap is soft not soggy, salad crunchy and sauce (ratios perfect), exactly my expectations for this. Best takeaway food i have and will ever eat. I could not recommend these guys enough, work very hard and have given the best takeaway food i have eaten EVER, perfect example of how a takeaway should be and hoping you will never change. staff are amazing and will carry on being a regular Thanks guys for the amazing food and work.

I have ordered from here a few times. I work in a care home for disabled people, and every other Friday they like to have a take away. We choose Pizza Time purely for its location as where I work is very isolated. They clearly find the fact that they are cooking and delivering for disabled people a nuisance and as though they are not worth their time. They frequently make up prices on the spot, always differing from what is stated on the online menu. They admitted recently when I phoned to complain that they had forgotten to cook part of my order. Despite their admission to this mistake, they refused to come back out, despite me having paid for it already. They said I could only have it if I drove out to them to get it. This was impossible because of the residents I look after. AVOID PIZZA TIME AT ALL COSTS.

Hands down, 100% the best takeaway in Launceston, it blows all others out of the water, simply cannot find other place that offers the amazing food and service that Pizza Time does, delivery times are lightning fast, service is great and food is something special.

Staff kept messing around on first visit not very polite. Limited for choice in Launceston. Went back for a second time and guy serving had an open wound on his hand handling food walked out.

Absolutely disgusting customer service from the owner of this takeaway. The food was OK but the rudeness of the owner made me give it a one star review. The young guy behind the counter was lovely and really apologetic about the owner who clearly has no idea of customer service. Guess he thinks he can behave like this to paying customers because it is such a small town with only a few places to get takeaway from... It's a pizza, burger, chicken wraps,cheesy chips takeaway. My kids love it. I really like the pizzas from here. Staff are quick, efficient and friendly. You never have to wait too long. They do local home delivery for orders over £10.

When I last left my review the owner says to me to tell him who answered the phone on the night my son rang.........How am I supposed to know that???????....Maybe if you were interested you may have been more interested in listening to a usually very good customer rather than swearing at me and telling me to go somewhere else because of his places lazy attitude!!!!!!! !! !

The best donner kebab i have ever had and i have had lots from around the uk. check out the garlic & mayo sauce. Burgers are as equally delicious as is the pizzas. could not recommend highly enough as the delivery service is also 5 star.
