Pizza Express in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We ordered for collection, didn’t know what to expect as never eaten from pizza express before but it was so so nice. Kids meal was great for money and our deal was good too. Freshly made pizza and the dough balls were amazing. Will definitely eat from here again. Spent just less then £40 for 2 adults and 1 child, definitely worth it!

Fantastic food, the salad was so tasty, a meal on its own. I had the margarita, the pastry was done exactly the way I like it, thin and crispy. The table service was excellent.

I don’t think the price that we paid for two pizzas weren’t worth it. It took 1 hour to get the pizzas and also the taste wasn’t good enough, unfortunately.

Been here for the last two years. Staff are lovely, service is great and the food great. Also, bit of a nice view during the day 😁 - update: The Pizza Express in Newquay has been consistently excellent on every visit. We take my mother there at xmas for a xmas eve pig out and the service is as excellent then as it has been on the other occasions we have visited. The staff are friendly and attentive without being over the top. The restaurant is clean, well layed out. The view is great. The food is excellent, especially the Tikka Paneer pizza... wow. No complaints at all. Thank you to eveyone who works there. 2024... Still great. FACT.

Ordered takeaway pizza on Valentines night, delivery took a long time but put that down to it being a busy night. Unfortunately both pizzas arrived very dry with little toppings which was very disappointing.

The food really was awful. Very overpriced and poor quality. Pizza Express used to be high quality but now it's gone downhill unfortunately. The staff did a great job.

I have been to Newquay a few times and this is normally one of my go-to places to eat dinner when I am there. Delicious food and a lively atmosphere - as is generally the case at any Pizza Express - but that view out of the window where you just see nothing but beach and cliff in all directions... that is one of life's greatest joys. Appreciated the friendly and personable staff as well - one of the managers got me a table & served me initially and he seemed like a top guy, then it was Abbie serving me later who I was very impressed by as well. There was one other woman who I didn't catch the name of, but great staff to top off a memorable dining experience. I will be coming back to Newquay in the spring, and will be sure to visit again!

Sunday 7th Jan evening takeaway...absolutely awful!Spent £23 for 2 burnt dried out brusscetta & 6 chicken drums that looked like they came off a sparrow 😬

Me and my wife started coming here about six years ago. The food and the service were impeccable back then and it hasn’t changed over the years. We now come here with our toddlers, the staff treat us so well and the food is honestly consistently amazing. I’ve only ever eaten at a couple of other pizza express places in the UK, and they have also been good, but we have never had a bad experience in the Newquay one despite how often we go there. Great job, keep up the amazing work!

Been before and it's one of the loveliest Pizza Express, great interior. However, don't like having to prove something on an App, especially when WiFi is not working and a simple code would be much better. Secondly, I hate staff clearing up around me. Dropping cutlery into drawers from the dishwasher, heavily clinking glasses onto shelves from dishwasher. We were still eating! Never mind the amount of pink spray, sprayed onto every available surface. We were still eating!!!!! Hence really sorry, but can't tip for a meal that causes anxiety.

We had a takeaway last week and the pizzas were ok, but my wife’s aubergine Melanzane was poooor. It was rubbery, undercooked aubergine in a thick tasteless tomato sauce topped with Mozzarella which was chewy and awful, it was NOT a nice experience and she left half of it and made a Sandwich! £16 down the drain! She eats mainly vegetarian food and hs aubergine Melanzane at restaurants and at home and it was nothing like it should be! Raw aubergine is horrible! Reallly disappointing, do not recommend!

Just had a pizza and hallumi bites delivered, best pizza I've had in years, way better than my usual dominoes , fast delivery as well

We did an educational pizza workshop in newquay pizza express and it was brilliant! All the kids loved it. The chef/teacher was great with the kids and they all got to keep their pizza masterpieces at the end.i would highly recommend these workshops it's a great idea

Booked via the app to arrive at 6pm. Restaurant not busy. Served immediately. Waitress very friendly and professional. Ordered Nicoise Ssld and Polenta chips, and an Americano pizza and slaw. Food tasty and hot. Arrived in good time. Restaurant became busier but atmosphere good. Would recommend.

Pizza & Pasta tasted like frozen from a Supermarket...not fresh. Not worth the money. Staff was friendly and attentive. View was Great!

We had a lovely meal at pizza express tonight. Table of 11. Food was great and timely. Our waitress ABBIE made the night for us. Although it was a busy service for her she managed beautifully and was very attentive & smiled throughout, Made sure we didn’t run low on drinks and our order was spot on - she even remembered who drank what. She’s a credit to your restaurant.

Absolutely shocking. Asked if they had a table for 3. Was told 45 minutes and was told they do takaway. We ordered a takeaway and was waiting for 5 minutes and a party of 4 turned up and asked for a table and got one straight away! And to top it off our order took 45 minutes! And when it came it was one of the worse pizzas I've ever had. And at double the price of most pizza places. Would advise anyone to go elsewhere for a pizza. We'll never go to pizza express again.

We wasn’t expecting a nice sea/ beach view so was an added bonus. Food was lovely usually pizza express standard. Service was a little slow but was a busy sat night. Would definitely recommend it.

My partners and I arrived an hour before closing, desperate for something to eat and worried about being turned away. Instead, the three of us were welcomed in with smiles and kindness. The wait staff were attentive and happy to cater to our specific dietary requests, the food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious and despite my evening after food ending in A&E - my meal at this Pizza Express was the highlight of my day. Thank you immensely!

Appalling service. My family had finished their mains by the time I got mine. Drinks never arrived that we ordered. Just awful. Spend your money elsewhere.

Staff couldn't have been more knowledgeable and helpful regarding food allergies, with their help we were able to order 3 gluten and dairy free courses for my daughter which she thoroughly enjoyed. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Please note however there is no on site parking so if mobility is an issue please plan ahead to find the nearest accessible car park, the restaurant itself was wheelchair accessible however.

Great pizzas and a grest view! But cost way to much! We had 4 pizzas and 1 drink each, cost over £70.....

Torn and dirty menus, filthy fabric on the seats and the view was obscured by windows that needed cleaning desperately.

Good located, but bad grounded (loud, busy, dirty). Less on the table for more paid money.

Pizza express Newquay was fantastic as Pizza Express always is. I use the rewards app which really helps out with the extras so I only usually end up paying for the main. The restaurant was clean, service was fast and the front of house staff were friendly. We booked a couple of days before but when we wanted to change the time (day of) it was fully booked so I would recommend planning ahead. We went on a cloudy, misty day so we weren't able to see properly but there is seating outside which looks over the sea for a what I can only think would be a beautiful view. The only negative thing I would have to say would be that parking was difficult. As we went in the evening, the car parks within a mile radius were all full so would be worth planning ahead, or going a little bit earlier than you book.

Ordered a pizza express from just eat. We ordered the kids meals with vegan cheese as they have an intolerance, the kids meals came with normal cheese meaning the kids couldn't eat them. No reply or refund from pizza express not happy!

We had a good meal, few things lacking, missing dips when items left kitcgen, soft drinks were overpriced & not as described when came. Would we rush to go back probably not!

The food was good, but the service was slow. It was a Monday, so I wouldn't expect it to be so. I had to wait 20 minutes for my bill, which is something I haven't experienced before. Overall, the food aas good, so I would still visit again.

Absolute TERRIBLE service!!...Was in Newquay for week long break with family & discovered pizza express near us. Ordered pizza online went to go collect at this store but was waiting an awfully long time. Nobody looked like they knew what they were doing. Kept saying in oven and shouldn't be too much longer and asking me my order number every 5 mins. A lady walked straight past me to fetch someone else's order who had been waiting a lot less longer than me, which I felt uncomfortable with as I felt this was clearly (unconscious) bias. Got my order finally and it was just sitting at the front all that time and not in the oven like the man kept saying. Got back to where I was staying which was 2 mins away and pizza was stone cold. Spoke to manager of the store and told him what happened. Took my details and manager said someone will call me the day after and refund me, but unsurprisingly, there was no call and no refund. I've awalys liked pizza express but after this experience I'm staying away!

Great restaurant on the edge of the cliff overlooking Newquay bay. Met with a fantastic team and food it’s a win win in my opinion compared to the other local offerings. Would highly recommend a visit here, we had a great evening and will be returning again and again. A new favourite!

After placing an order for delivery via the pizza express app, I found items to be missing on delivery. Following this I contacted the restaurant directly, to which staff were not very helpful and was advised to claim for the money back for these through Uber (the company in which the restaurant uses to deliver online orders) or collect items from the restaurant which defeats the point of ordering a delivery, also my issue was not with the driver, the delivery driver was excellent, my issues was with restaurant who had not provided the items to the driver to deliver, so to tell me to claim back from them is completely out of order. Will not be using this branch again and would advise for further staff training in customer service skills and accountably.

Food was poor and as regulars the service was poorer then usual. Took that long to clear the plates we didn’t bother even order more drinks and dessert. The prawn dish was poor was more like soft tomtatos and shrimp as the prawn was shrivelled and prob 3 to the dish. Overall after spending £160 I would of expected more.it’s a shame as we liked going there and Maltida was a fav of our staff.always happy and helpful.

We’ve been to Pizza Express many times as a family but this was our first visit to the Newquay restaurant. Amazing view, great service and yummy food for all the family. The waiters we had were so welcoming and friendly. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Good location, close to train station and bus stops. Beautiful views of the ocean. After dropping in for dinner without a booking, we were shown to a table and served by lovely staff. The food was served quickly and was delicious, would happily visit again...

Highly wouldn't recommend 😕 the pizza was Waifa thin with the most Fin Layer of Tomato puree and the cheese was very slim for a pizza place that is very poor the quality wasn't there

Grabbed a takeaway from here based on the reviews, for something a bit different. Front of house was very helpful, which is where the 1 star comes into it. The food itself was nothing special at all. All a bit pretentious. We had barely 10 prawns (if you can call them that) on one of the pizzas and the glorified chicken strips were £8 for 3 tiny stripes. Don't believe the hype. This place is just a con and nobody with a sense of value for money would eat here. Time for you to get back to reality. On a positive the view from the restaurant is amazing.

Always 5 stars for the pizzas. In my opinion they are the best pizzas you can get outside of Italy. However the price for four pizzas, two starters and three cokes and a beer and the bill to just be shy of £100 is too expensive! It’s not exactly fine dining……
