Pizza Express in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We had a fabulous meal while watching the sun set over the harbour. No hassle using the lift for my father in law who require use of mobility aids. Service was great, our waiter Sam was happy, polite and attentive. Even came to check on those using the lift, pointed us in the direction of our table and checked there was room for the mobility walker. Can highly recommend this as a great place to eat and enjoy the view.

We ordered 2 large pizzas on the reward and enjoyed a very quick service

Been here every year for 14 years, but this time was a bit average: setting is stunning, but service and food was not at its previous high standard.

VERY disappointing visit for lunch today with family staying with us for Easter. Not only was there a delay on receiving our food (which I didn't understand as there were only around 5/6 tables being used), as an NHS worker, I was pleased to see that I could use my Blue Light Card to save my family 20% off their meal. When it came to pay, I was told I had to show the QR code on the app and that showing my valid card was not enough. The waitress was very dismissive and to be honest couldn't have cared less. Won't be visiting again in a hurry.

I've never felt more rich eating from a Pizza restaurant in my whole life. I was eating Breadballs and I felt like King Louie the 16th

Plenty of free empty tables loads of staff but they apparently “fully booked”. Still hours to wait for people to arrive but they refused letting 2 young children to have a meal. It’s a first time we are visiting this place and how unwelcoming this place is. Im Particularly “grateful” to a young blond lady at reception for being so blunt and not understanding. Don’t recommend. Enjoy your food guys

Genuinely vile! Ordered food through Uber, took an hour to arrive, when it did it was awful… the pizza was cold, soggy and uncut, doughballs were also soggy. Very overpriced, if you want good pizza and sides I would recommend Pizza Jocky in Falmouth. Pizza express, actual disappointment. Definitely will not be ordering again, what a huge waste of money

Quiet on a March Monday evening. Service very good and pizzas that my partner and I had were very tasty.

Can not complain about the food or staff as we always have a lovely meal and we are made to feel welcome. The toilets on the hand are terrible. All 3 cubicles need a drastic overhaul. The toilets all have flushing issues, the tap fittings are hanging off, paint work is chipped and peeling and they are generally very dirty.

Came for dinner, excellent! The food was superb, our server engaging & efficient. Delightful environment and food! Will be back.

Very nice atmosphere and helpful staff

Very easy to choose and order, and prompt replies on website/email. When we went to collect we had at least three members of staff instantly looking after us and helping collect the order. Great service - well done, Falmouth 👏😊

Went here for my daughters birthday meal. It was 40 minutes before we’d even got our drinks order taken, even after asking if we can order. Restaurant was only half full, not busy at all. Barely saw the staff and had to keep asking for things e.g. pepper and cheese (normally I’m sure this is offered when your meal arrives). Didn’t feel like we were attended to at all and constantly searching for the staff to help us. All in all it took 3 hours to have starters and mains, we booked for 6pm and didn’t leave till 9pm! Won’t be returning to this pizza express even though the food was good when it finally arrived!

Held a party here recently and it was great. There could have been a little more enthusiasm from the staff for the children but you can't win it all, right?

For 2 people The bill came to £74. We shared dough balls for starter. We had a pizza each. We had one drink each. Luckily we noticed a sign at the door that said if you download the PizzaExpress app, then you get free doughballs and 33% of pizzas.This makes it more affordable. So this brought the bill down to £44. Each person has to download the app (the restaurant has free Wi-Fi). And you need to know your table Number so you check into the table and add the offers. Staff were superb excellent service.

Changing my rating to 5 stars Just got back from pizza express, Falmouth and everything we had was yummy. Started with doppio dough balls and bruschetta, both amazing but I liked bruschetta more, and dough balls tastier than anytime I had before. I was already half full and kept thinking I might not find the pizza (pollo Forza) tasty because of fullness, butt I was wrong. This was the best pizza I've ever had, perfect amount of chicken, bell peppers, and red chillies. Go well with garlic oil. We also had rocket salad from the sides as a reward (something on the app).

Great meal . Great location. Food and service first class. This was 7pm on 7th Nov, so fairly quiet. But yes a good place to visit in Falmouth. They cover veggies.

Everything about our visit was terrific. The food, the atmosphere and the staff were all spot on. To top it all the restaurant has a fantastic view of the harbour and Fal estuary. Such a great place to have a pizza. One of the best Pizza Express restaurants I’ve been to!

Awesome service. Lovely waiting staff. Exquisite food. Maybe make a sign saying "ask for assistance with wheel chairs as it was unclear if we would be able to enjoy the view. Oh the view! I've lived in Falmouth for a long time, this is one of my favourite eats with views around. Noisy place around 6pm. If you have sensory needs, go a little earlier, we arrived at 5 and it was lovely and quiet. Thanks again to the amazing staff who were all lovely and smiley. FANTASTIC LOCATION, would go again.

LIt was a bit quiet in a midweek evening, with England v Italy on TV as well, but a nice meal overlooking the boats. A friendly greeting and great service though.

The restaurant were really accommodating for us as we were a large party. The food come out quickly and all together. Lily, who was our waitress was super efficient and friendly and really helpful and made the evening great.

Surprised with Pizza Express, not normally very good, in my local area however this visit to this venue was a very good experience, staff where on it, venue very good & prices £££, which is to be expected for a chain with fat cats that need feeding

For a chain - this wasn’t bad. Food was very nice but service was poor. Discounts etc have to be done via the app now which we didn’t have and not enough signal to download the app whilst there. Not the sort of place I would go every week!

Visited twice this week at lunchtimes. Despite some menu items not available at the time, we found more than enough choice... favourites and some new things not tried before. Loved the Bosco salad and Reine pizza, in fairness all the food was as expected. Drinks served swiftly so no sitting around waiting. Staff all friendlywith a smile ...make a big difference. Left a tip both times as the whole experience warranted it I thought. Marked down a bit on atmosphere only because no buzz to the place Approx £30 a head, but could have got away with £15 per person, but that's skimpy Well done PE Falmouth. Will come again. Very busy booked a table in advance family in front not booked seated right away we had to wait 10 minutes for our table crazy I wish i hadn't booked..... Then food delivered to our table at different times my partner had finished her stater before my son and I had ours we tend to eat out as an occasion and would have like to eat together rather then different times I asked the staff they said we are extremely busy.. yes but you only have a certain amount of tables in this building because you believe you can maintain that level of service my advice get rid of tables... I will not be heading back anytime soon extremely disappointed with our experience 😔

My family and I have celebrated so many occasions at this restaurant and every time the service and the food is spectacular. Yesterday, we were celebrating my leaving for university and everything was perfect as always. Claire Stokes was wonderful, her service was impeccable and she was incredibly kind! Keep up the good work everyone!

Visited last week when we came to visit friends. Great restaurant, lovely art work on the walls, nice and clean and the stunning views top it off! It was extremely busy when we came so we were lucky to get a table and were told there would be a wait which didn’t bother us, it was obvious as all the staff were literally running! We ordered starters and mains all the food was amazing! Came out hot and well seasoned probably one of the best pizza express restaurants we’ve eaten at. The whole visit from start to finish was enjoyable, you clearly have a great team!! Will be back when we come down again in a few weeks! Thank you!!

Normally would give 5 stars and have been a few times however tonight was exceptionally bad. Firstly we felt we were ignored by staff as we waited the longest I have ever waited in a pizza express and when we finished no one came and offered desserts. We ordered 3 portions of doughballs for starters and they all came out cold, they said they would remake them and it came out half cold again. My pizza was doughy and undercooked and my friends lacked toppings. Overall not a great experience. It’s a shame because I really like this pizza express.

Always Outstanding. I have written many reviews of Pizza Express so possibly no point in doing another! However, when a UK chain can still produce the best pizza in the world , why not one more. With the demise of Prezzo, Jamie Oliver and others I would hate to see Falmouth Pizza Express bite the dust. My Nduja Calzone was 100% perfection. Staff brilliant, epic location.

Wasn't expecting much, because...Pizza Express. But, pleasantly surprised by this one. Sat outside in the sunshine overlooking the harbour. Lad who served us was very attentive and helpful. Food was the usual, but kids loved it. Great for a cheap family meal out.

Sadly I have to say Helen really let the team down she couldn't even tell me where the toilet was or how many calories the cheesecake had but luckily amber stepped in and saved the day with floorless knowledge of not only the menu but a full history lesson on the history of pizza express She is a shining light in your team and should be given a pay rise P.s who knew pizza express was start by Peter boizot in 1965 🤯🤯🤯 Thank you again amber for saving what could have been a dreadful evening if not for your outstanding service

Arrived was greeted well, sat outside all OK until pizza arrived waitress threw it at me almost and it fell off the plate, barely apologised and went to get chilli oil. Pizza extremely thin to the point it was paper not pizza. The chilli oil was swiftly removed and yet the table behind was allowed a bottle to remain for the whole meal!! No one came to ask if everything was OK ' it was not'. The table behind was asked if the meal was OK we were ignored. Came swiftly to ask if we wanted anything else, absolutely no chance. Not a thank you or goodbye nothing. Will never return, robbed of £45 waste of money.

First visit here. Great views of the harbour if you are lucky enough to get a window table inside. Outside seating in the warmer weather gives you the best views. Food was good and well presented. It was a bit noisy due to the acoustics of the building and so difficult to talk/hear, especially if you are hard of hearing. Would go back.

No idea if the food is good or not - more than half the restaurant was empty but they turned us away claiming they didn’t have a free table for an hour and half.

We normally love Pizza Express. So we decided to take our family to the Falmouth Pizza Express. My pizza did not look great and after eating it, I have been really ill.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pizza Express in Falmouth. Our waitress Amelia was very attentive and the meals were cooked to perfection. Great views, friendly staff and fantastic food - a perfect meal out.

We ordered pizza and other food in the evening and asked it to the hotel where we were staying. And we waited 85 minutes for our food to arrive. Even though I texted the Ubereats driver, he didn't respond to me. The food was cold and we were officially disgraced with our money. The restaurant needs to check whether it reaches its customers after cooking. No one cares or cares. We have never experienced such disgrace anywhere in the world.

Prosecco was opened before it got to the table but was a really cheep plonk and had to go back. All the pizzas were great as you would expect

Lovely sea views and fresh pizza. There are better options for pizza in Falmouth (that offer sourdough) but this place has great views while you eat

We stopped at this restaurant at the end of our day visiting Falmouth as a group of six. The waitress Claire was amazing! She was friendly and attentive for the whole night even though she was very busy with other tables as the restaurant was full. She was very helpful when asked about Gluten Free options and as a group of six everyone enjoyed their evening and food. Thanks again Claire!

We had lunch at pizza express, maritime square, Falmouth on Friday 16th. We had booked but we're 3/4 hour early but had no problem being seated. Our waiter Sam was superb - great customer service He was welcoming, friendly, extremely competent and attentive to our needs. Even taking the time to show us where the lift was as one of our party was using crutches. All the staff we met were lovely and the restaurant itself is very well laid out with fab views over the harbour. Sam was great, an asset to your restaurant. Thank you for a really enjoyable meal :-) From some very happy Pizza Express customers😄

Fast service, great pizza, even better views

Exceeded expectations. Really good food and service. We used up some Tesco vouchers on a supper out at Pizza Express. The menu has changed a lot since we last went, meaning the choice was much improved. We had calamari (crispy, crunchy and very fresh), olives, chicken wings, chicken strips home-breaded, dough balls. Following that, pizzas and a salad bowl. It was all fresh. The service from a young guy called Sam was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Water jug with ice at no charge, great table with a view, and attentive service without being overbearing. Overall, a really great experience.

Fantastic view watching boats coming and going. Great service and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely return when we are travelling through Cornwall again. Easy parking as well and chance for a nice stroll over the meal.

Absolutely awful we didn’t even get a drink here. Fantastic view 10 minutes the menu arrived and then we waited and waited and waited. They weren’t even busy - 4 tables. Now I accept short staffed, no staff but when you go to the people behind to ask if there meal is ok and ignore us not acceptable just rude..So we did what anyone would do leave and eat somewhere else. Huge shame fantastic venue and view just ignorant people.. !!!!!

Service was a little spotty today because it’s half term and it’s busy, presumably - but still, the food took an unusually long time to come out, my pizza felt over cooked as the base was a bit too crunchy and the cheese had started to shrivel and lose its moisture. Food didn’t come out all together - had waits between everyone’s meals, and had to ask where our side was half way through eating. Disappointing as it’s so expensive to eat there.

Great location overlooking the Falmouth harbour from first floor vantage point. Relied on the air conditioning but needed better ventilation, it got very hot and this is only May. Food and service was very good.

We got served by a lovely lad called Rhythm and he was very nice and had a laugh with us and we got served very quickly and had a lovely time

We have eaten in many branches of Pizza Express and we were particularly delighted to visit the Falmouth restaurant this evening while staying in the town. We had an excellent pizza and dessert and we had great service from Rhythm who was very efficient and attentive and charming with it. Like our waiter, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to visit again and highly recommend this particular branch. It had a very good ambience with the added bonus of wonderful views onto the harbour and all the boats.

I've eaten here a few times and the food is always great. It doesn't hurt that it's also in a great location with beautiful views. My last visit was on Saturday 13th May for my twin daughters' fourth birthday party with eight of their friends to make pizzas. The manager and the chef who did the pizza-making session were completely unflappable in the face of ten four-year-olds sending flour everywhere and were great with the children. I had expected mayhem, but it was so well organised that it felt really slick and the pizzas that came out were actually really nice. It was a special event for us and all the staff really made us feel welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. So, thank you so much to everyone there - we really did appreciate all your efforts.

We stopped here for an evening meal as a bit of a last-minute thing. The food was excellent, as is expected at Pizza Express, but really, it was the staff that made it. Our server was lovely and attentive and made sure everything was great throughout the evening.

Always delicious but the prices are creeping up…

PizzaExpress has really been stepping up their game! New pesto dough balls are seriously delicious and the spicy giuseppe was possibly the best pizza I've had which is very unexpected. Atmosphere and service is also very pleasant.
