Lovely place, we both had coffee and a cake and a pastry, all were gorgeous, super friendly lady that served us, highly recommend

I stayed a stones throw from this cafe in September. There was no breakfast with my accommodation so I went to this cafe every morning for a latte and croissant. I sat by the harbour with my stuff and ate and watched the people having their morning swim. Hands down the best croissant I've ever tasted, and the coffee was cracking too. Lovely little place, a little slice of heaven for me xx

We had some fries. They were crispy just the way it should be.

Same as Tesco sandwich triple priced and found hair inside so had to bin all the food. Please wear hats at least

Visited St Ives today and struggled for a place to eat. Came across Mor, and in all honesty, we nearly overlooked it until we spotted the pizzas in the window! We had two types of pizza slice and some salted fries. I honestly cannot fault it, the fries are fresh and delicious. The pizza was warmed up for us, potentially could’ve been a bit hotter but that’s only my own personal preference! It was perfect for my son. £19.50 for three pizza slices, salted fries and two drinks bottles. I think that’s a bargain in today’s climate as this fed three of us beautifully

We have been coming to St Ives for years and always stop by. It has been done up this year and we are wondering if under new management. Staff are friendly, prices reasonable and food lovely. This week though experience 1, we ordered sausage and bacon baps and ended up with just bacon, experience 2 we asked for a bacon and egg bap, apparently they can't charge you the same or less than a bacon, sausage and egg, in taking the sausage off they have to charge for bacon with extra egg, which is dearer. All very silly and off putting. Will try elsewhere for the rest of the week.

What can I say ,,,absolutely disgusting,,it’s stated on there outside menu boards that they deal with celiac disease and food intolerance and allergies,,my wife queued for ten minutes only to be told by the staff that they have no gluten free options due to (and quote)”there’s too much STUFF about” I mean that’s a well trained response This is a business being run by children and as a result a complete letdown the total failure of food hygiene knowledge is frightening,,,I won’t be eating or recommending this place to anyone,,,totally disgusting

Rude staff. One member of staff started serving us and then someone she knew walked in and she asked her colleague to finish serving us. Not a pleasantry or a smile.

Delicious freshly made sandwiches with plenty of filling. Well wrapped to take with us to eat on the train. Good value

Really high quality service. My husband bought coffee, very impressed with the quality and taste of the coffee served there. I bought a chicken and bacon panini, every day for 4 days in a row😊🫣, that's how how amazing those paninis are!!! The staff is super friendly!!! I'm struggling to understand the poor reviews for this place. I dropped by to pick up a couple of breakfast sandwiches. Quite reasonably priced for the seafront position, less than £4. Friendly service, and the sandwiches were good. The best I've had? Definitely not, but still very good.

Best take away in St Ives went most days for breakfast and lunch. Lovely food, great value for money and lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend and will use again when back in St Ives.

Their coffee is really good. I had the oat milk latte on a couple of occasions and really enjoyed it.

We were looking for a change to pasties and fish and chips and came across this cafe, They have a great menu with a good range to choose from and very reasonably priced. We had chicken, bacon and salad baguettes, they were absolutely delicious, freshly made will lots of filling. Staff were really friendly and not waiting long. Will definitely return on out next visit to St Ives!

I really think the staff need to look at the safe use of gloves, the lady serving me served 4 people touched the card machine and all the sauce bottles with the same pair of gloves!!! Then made our sandwiches , this is basic infection control and food hygiene. Wash your hands and ditch the gloves. Look on infection control policy UK befor you cause anyphalactic reaction to someone!!!!!!

Awful food. Ordered chilli chicken panini and a steak and steak and blue panini. Came in a baguette instead. Didn't realise until we sat down elsewhere. The chilli chicken was just about edible. The steak and blue was awful. Don't recommend. Many other good food places to get food from in town.

We bought two wraps for lunch. The prawn and avocado wrap was overwhelmed by chilli sauce to the point of being unpleasant. The chicken salad wrap was overwhelmed by oily pesto. We will not be buying these wraps again.

I wish I'd found this place earlier in my holiday. A lot of the food in St Ives is pretty heavy; pasties, fish & chips, etc. I bought the mixed crab salad to go and it was one of the nicest things I've eaten all week. Beautiful fresh dressed crab, gorgeous mixed salads and very good value for money

Been coming for many years and always visited Mor’s & when is used to be Pels. Fresh Food however extremely rude & unprofessional manager who thinks it’s appropriate to ‘make fun’ of customers and pull faces behind their backs. Young girls serving following suit. Left a member of our party in tears the way she was treated. Never to return

By far the BEST burger I have ever had. Don’t get me started on the pork loaded fries!😁😍😍😍AMAZING!!

The positive. 4 pizzas ordered, quick turnaround on a Sunday late afternoon / evening. The negative, they should have spent more time cooking them properly, or had someone cooking then that cared about what they were doing. Burnt pizza bases, that we didn't realise until we were10 minutes away. We were too hungry and accepting of poor food. By the time we were half way through, my son finally gaveh and ate just the top. My wife took it back and complaine but it fell on deaf ears.

We stopped here on Thursday for a small bite to eat for lunch. We ordered the chicken & bacon panini and the chilli chicken panini. After a slight mix-up with the first order (not exactly sure what happened) we received our order and sat on the benches over looking the beach to eat them and they were delicious; piping hot, soft and fresh and very tasty. This alongside the view, made for one very nice lunch.

Not recommended for allergy sufferers - they just didn’t get it. While I appreciate there’s always a cross contamination risk, the lady making the sandwich made a huge deal (huffing and puffing with attitude) saying “hope it’s not a serious allergy” even though I has already explained that my son was quite seriously allergic to egg. I had given my consent that we should be fine with bread, butter and ham… but asked her respectfully to change plastic gloves, wipe surface and avoid making near the mayonnaise fillers. But she made me feel awkward. It’s tough being the parent of a child with allergies and so many restaurants and cafes are amazing with these things, going above and beyond so it really surprised me that the attitude was so poor. If you’re an allergy sufferer - avoid.

The best pizza I’ve ever tasted … steak and blue cheese. My son had a marguerita and wolfed it down. Had a takeaway and took it over to the beach to watch St Ives Biathlon. Delicious food, lovely location, great value. We’ll be back!

Really nice service here, and even better food! Fully filled fresh sandwiches and good value for money. I would recommend anyone nearby to try this cafe. You won't be disappointed!

The most incredible cannoli! We stopped off for a take away coffee and cake. Coffee was delicious! The salted caramel cannoli cannot be missed!

We visited st Ives in March 2023 , Every morning I go for my daily run ,and I started stopping off here for a morning cappuccino, The owner was so lovely and friendly as was the lady that worked behind the counter I’ve read a couple of reviews about this place that ate quite derogatory ( i know they are from a while back ) but this place was spotless ,we had breakfast rolls there as well and everything was lovely I’d mentioned it was my birthday one day and the owner brought out a birthday card for me ( I highly recommend this beach cafe

I love this little cafe. They have a great menu with a good range to choose from. I have had the roast chicken baguette a few times and it's absolutely delicious. The staff are really friendly and helpful and go way above and beyond so five stars for service and the baguettes, but I ordered garlic pizza today and unfortunately the base was like polystyrene! We didn't even bother finishing it so I knocked off a star for that 😔 I certainly wouldn't hesitate to get food from here again as everything else has been fresh and delicious but I don't think I'd risk a pizza! Service always perfect, though.

perfect place to go when you are short on food. we even got some free things once. we ordered a burger with fries and a pizza. we got both the pizza and fries free .

Takeaway Pizza. - £9 large hot & spicy 12”. Not brilliant, this place appears to be highly overrated in my opinion. Bases are cheap, frozen, ordered in. Cheese and top slightly undercooked, base slightly overcooked. POSITIVE- LARGE amount of toppings, which saved this from a 2 out of 5. Overall, shoddy pizza - stick with Domino’s delivery, which unfortunately is a far better option. I had a burger from here last year that fell to pieces, even when wrapped in foil, and was generally poor and overcooked (not marked down for here).

Ordered crepes for my daughters. Asked for GF option but lady explained why they don't do this option (small kitchen and can't guarantee no cross contamination). She also brought out our crepes in boxes so that the rain wouldn't ruin them. Didn't have to wait long, and a very friendly service.

I'm worried about this shop assistant's sense of hygiene. The crab is a bit smelly and doesn't feel very fresh. But I was most upset when the staff kept touching their phones before making the food. Then she touched the customer's dog. I thought she was going to wash her hands, but she didn't and went back to her desk.

Every holiday of ours includes eating some takeaway food from Mor. A great choice and variety on the menu. I can recommend anything off the breakfast menu, the staff are always great too.

I paid £9.95 for a white crab baguette. The filling consisted of one slice of cucumber, a few scraps of shredded lettuce, one big blob of mayo and a smattering - a very thin smattering - of crab somewhere in the middle of a hard, thin baguette. I know it’s just a sandwich but this was a total rip off. Plus I waited over half an hit even though the place was empty. And the staff weren’t very nice. How hard can it be to make a decent sandwich? Really.

They have their price list up, but their tills have different prices on so I got charged 15% more. All they would say is "You have to pay what the til says, not what the price list says" Awful place. Check the price before you order

Incredible small business. Quick, helpful service. We had breakfast in a box (regular and veggie) which were delicious for just over £6 and then came back later for a crepe which was also amazing

Filthy dirty! Food bad, and incorrect. Also noticed when I got back to our apartment that I was charged £2.80 for 1 slice of cheese on each of the two burgers I ordered. Loved this place over the years and spent a fortune in here. After trying this place once I am disgusted with the quality of food and service. Dislike being ripped off also!

Just purchased a BBQ chicken pizza and fries. Both were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Very reasonably priced and very quick service despite how busy St Ives is. Check the website for details of the wide variety of sandwiches, baguettes, panninis, pizzas, fries, drinks etc. Will definitely return.

We have visited in the past when it was Pels and always enjoyed it. It has now changed hands and has gone really down hill. Probably the worst take away pizza I have ever eaten. Tasteless and the base was like cardboard. Avoid!

We stopped here for a small bite to eat. We visited when it use to be called PELS and the food and service was good then. However, since our last visit it appears to have changed owners and is now called MOR BEACH CAFE. We popped in and i asked for the steak & blue panini (Panini with steak, bacon, blue cheese, caramelised onions, rocket and Cornish rosemary oil), however i asked if they could make it without the blue cheese. The staff member was abrupt and just said, NO, we can't do that. I thought that it would have been made to order so how hard could it be to leave the cheese off when making it? When i questioned why they couldn't leave the cheese out, i just got another abrupt reply of NO. Eventually someone else came across and told me that it would be fine without the cheese. Turns out it was all pre packed, and all they do is get what panini is on the menu and heat it up. All they had to do was open the packet and remove the cheese. The panini was average. no bacon as stated on the menu. Overall, some seriously poor rude unhelpful staff and the food was poor.

Very disappointed with my visit today. The person making food on the main desk, with a fag behind your ear very unhygienic and very unprofessional.

Sadly Pels has changed hands, now it’s just another pizza burger place. Had a salad that was hidden behind the counter, the lad serving took our payment then used his bare hands to pick the salad out and put in the box. Yuck.

Came to St Ives after seeing excellent reviews for gluten free crepes. Sadly Pels is now called Mor Beach cafe and does not offer ANY gluten free options. Big disappointment.
