Domino's Pizza Newquay in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Absolutely appalling. Turned up 1hr annd 40 minutes after ordering, first driver took it back, second driver brought it back out, by which time it was cold. Called to complain and just got lied to saying that the first driver tried calling. Not sure who they tried but it wasn’t me. Not sure what is going on, but they use to be quite good.

I ordered at the counter & waited for pizza to be made for me. Whilst waiting I was watching the person prepping the dough (as you do) and felt a bit sick when I watched him walk away and scratch his face, nose & beard, and then return to handling dough without washing his hands! Neither did he wears a beard net, which sent all kinds of awful thoughts going through my mind. Pizza was also incorrect and had to wait whilst another was made. Disappointed, but I won’t forget that beard & nose scratching in a hurry :-(

Ordered and collected pizza whilst on holiday at one of the local caravan parks. Ordered on the app…used one of the app deals, food was fresh, hot and delicious

We are used to reliable service from Dominos in Berkshire. This feels like another world.... 1.5 hours and no pizza yet..... we ordered on the app, and apparently, our pizza quality has been checked for the last 30 minutes. Tried phoning several times, and it is not answered.... Shocking..... shouldn't be allowed to be part of the Dominos brand.....

We decided we would get a pizza and went here as we were staying just down the road. When we got there, there were quite a few people standing outside and we heard and were told that they weren't taking orders over the counter only accepting orders via the app. Luckily we had our phones and had the app already on the phone otherwise we would have had to go somewhere else to eat. This is the first time we have been to a Domino's store where they refused to take physical orders. We managed to order our pizzas which took a lot longer than it has from other stores. Some people who had ordered before us had half of their order then had to wait a further 15 minutes or more for the other half of the order. A few people were getting annoyed with the wait. It took us about 50 minutes to get our 2 pizzas. The pizzas were your standard Domino's quality

Its not a good sign when there is a notice on the counter saying the store cant handle refunds or complainta and to contact cusromer service.. Ordered 2 pizzas, sides ans 4 cookies. Pizza had blue bits of plastic all over it and there was only one cookie. Complained to customer service but heard nothing, horrendous.

1 out of 5 due to lack of delivery to armed forces a few miles down the road. Shameful. Good food though. Just wish they would spread delivery more.

After trying a few restaurants we decided to go for a pizza 🍕 I am not a fan of it but my daughter wanted to try it and it was a lovely night staff where very pleasant also the waitress that served our table Definitely worth a visit

We ordered pizza with the estimated delivery time of 40-45 mins. 1 hour and 30 mins later my husband drove to the store to pick it up, because the app was still saying quality check. When he arrived at the store it was full of angry customers waiting for pizza. He said there were pizzas stacked up waiting for delivery all over the place, and the staff in the shop were claiming they had lost their delivery drivers. He managed to get our pizza, and it was ok (if a little lukewarm) by the time we got to eat it. I complained via the Dominos website and we got a full refund. We usually order from this Dominos every year on our holiday but I don't think we will be ordering again.

Ordered pizza meat feast with chicken wings and garlic bread. 12hrs later sickness and 💩 for those that had the food. Not again

Very dissapointed with our dominoes last night, took 2 hours to arrive and once it did it was cold. We are regulars and don’t know if we will be returning again.

Ordered at 6:30pm, by 7:45pm app updated to say it had been delivered. Called and called up to 8:15 pm to find out where my food was but phone was never answered.

Ordered a pizza an hour ago. Was told 30 ins / 40 to be delivered. Rang up to find out why it hadn't been delivered apparently they had an issue with a oven no phone call. Or compensation. We ordered, the person taking the order said they knew the address of the holiday park. The delivery never arrived !! We spent over £50 am noting arrived. The Dominos store didn’t care about the situation and it took the driver to call to say sorry and rearrange the delivery. Pizza was cold and over 1 hour late. When we called for a refund we were told the driver would come back to collect. This never happened. £50 out of pocket and terrible pizza from a high street brand.

Looking to order a pizza at 8pm, got a confirmation email at 8:05pm and am still waiting at 9:11pm. Tried to ring 5 times with no answer. Don't know if i was just forgotten but its slightly ridiculous.

Pretty much what you would expect and hope for from Domino's. Very expensive but there are plenty of offers to bring that down to a more reasonable amount. We did ask why we couldn't just swap the cheese for vegan cheese but got a nonsense...

Good service. Had a lunch time deal. Large one topping pizza for £5.99 - bargain. Didn’t seem overly hot though. Last time I had it it stayed hot on the 15 minute journey home but this one wasn’t but still tasted good.

Great service usually order online and it gets delivered to door , never have to wait long, good variety of pizza toppings.

Ordered delivery from here lots of times. All delivery drivers are so polite. Pizza is always steaming hot. Unfortunately there was a mix up on one of our orders. The man (I believe to be the manager of this branch) is lovely.

I've rated Domino's as average as it was just that. The pizzas were a bit light on the toppings which was disappointing, but they were cooked well. They do have some good deals on and if you want a no frills ,quick feed for the family, it's fine. Delivery was fairly prompt and delivery guy friendly.

Food was okay, but pricing is designed to confuse. Tried to order on line and got 1 price but system failed so just went and ordered direct and got a better price in store. Went a second time, checked price out online but as we got it cheaper direct last time we and ordered in store. This time it was more expensive in store. Why can't they just have a simple reasonable price per item instead of over inflated prices and 20 different offers to chose from.

We had 3 large pizzas, all of them were very over cooked. The two thin based pizzas were the worst, like eating a dry cracker, Massive disappointment with all of the food, the garlic bread has tomatoes on it, the wedges are dry and very few. Just don’t bother.

Went for 2 x pizzas on Tuesday, placed order good service, with the screen u can see order process before ours was ready for check someone came over very apologetic and said we have a issue with one of ur pizzas and have a free starter. Very impressed with the honesty no bull just we have a issue so need to re do it thank you very much worth the wait

This always gives consistently good pizza and didn’t fail again. The delivery time is excellent. Always delivery’s in time or before.

A friend paid for pizzas online. When I visited Dominos Newquay to collect, they asked me to pay cash - I didn’t know it was already paid. So the order was paid for TWICE. Dominos are using delaying tactics, despite saying they would refund the online payment. They now say they are investigating. To be updated......

Takeaway pizza, kind of does what it says, staff not great seem to muck about very immature. Food OK not great can be hit and miss. At the end of the day it's a bit of fodder if late and nowhere else to go.

As good as normal dominoes pizzas but it is a little better as the staff are nicer than normally. Thanks.

Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenhaltes in Newquay an einem Abend eine Pizza in Dominos Pizza geholt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat als man gemerkt hat, dass wir Deutsch sind sehr bemüht uns unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Pizza war super lecker und im Preis auch nicht zu teuer.

Domino's kennt man und ist in der Regel überall gleich. Das Hauptgeschäft ist der Lieferservice. Wir wurden aber auch als Laufkundschaft freundlich bedient. Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt es entsprechend aber nicht wirklich. Leider kam es irgendwie zu Schwierigkeiten, da scheinbar ungewöhnlich viel Bestellungen eingingen und nicht genug Personal vor Ort war. Aber nach etwas mehr Wartezeit, konnten wir dann unsere Pizza mitnehmen.Wie bei Domino's üblich: Unbedingt nach Angeboten fragen und Flyer studieren!

Have always received excellent service from friendly staff here. Many deals to choose from but the assistant made sure that we got the best deal so was very helpful. Service was fast, food was hot and very, very tasty. Excellent value for money and was able to wander down to the beach near by to sit and enjoy it. Perfect.

With so many deals on , it's best to research first before you buy anything . We got proper ripped off when we realised we could of got a deal that would of saved us money and got more.Need to deliver too Fraddon. They deliver to white acres holiday park. Ordered from Dominoes on 14.05.16 to have the pizzas in the photos arrive. Not only this but the driver was very late and unable to follow the directions I gave him over the phone. Not impressed.

Delicious pizzas and with lots of choices to.choose from. The prices here are £2 cheaper than in London where I live. The quality remains the same. I would want to take the opportunity to buy some more whilst on holiday.

Pizza ordered and delivered this evening. 1 pizza fine the other incorrect. Called to say so and met argument. Please - I order this combination regularly and I know how it should taste. Please don't tell me you made it yourself when it is so obviously not as requested. Replacement took a while but hey - the flavour is correct!

We stayed at Travelodge/City Center, so this is just few yards away and we got our pizza in around 15 minutes. Cheap and standard price. Toppings are good, but we felt pizza as very dry. Not upto the standards of Dominos that we have tasted elsewhere.

Nice fresh meal. Good value deal - 2 large pizzas, bottle of juice, garlic bread and potato wedges for £22.95. Perfect for 3 adults! You can see your pizza being made behind the counter and everything looked clean, so gives extra confidence. Service was friendly and helpful, as we were told about the value meal deal by the counter staff. Tried the chicken tikka pizza - interesting and tasty and a bit different to the usual pizza choices. Will return next year when on holiday again!

Telephone manner of staff is appalling, My over-the-phone order for delivery was refused as they had the WRONG postcode on their system for my house, I had to speak to Charlotte (manager) who was very rude before actually getting an order delivered, Which arrived LATE,COLD and INEDIBLE and refund was REFUSED, Just a special offer on our next order, We won't be ordering again.

We ordered pizza as a treat and overal spent 22.17 we got short changed by the delivery man that apparently had no change... Thought it was quite weird as a delivery man wouldn't have any change to give us apart from the 10p in 2p coins.Really quite annoyed about the service, normally quite good.

Went here lunchtime Tuesday (buy one get one free). Excellent service from the guy who politely & helpfully guided an elderly relative who had never had a Domino's before, worked out the cheapest option for what we wanted, & made our pizzas. Generous with the toppings, great quick service, lovely pizzas.

If you fancy a pizza when staying here Domino is only a stones throw away from the hotel. Although we didn't visit to eat we would have done if stayed longer. It looked good and clean . Great for the visiting surfers no doubt.

Ordered using my app spent nearly £40 on three pizzas and cookies - fair enough I ordered wrong getting the double decadence pepperoni confused with my create your own stuffed crust pizza so when I looked at my pizza expecting stuffed crust I was so miffed to see this flat over cooked thing :-/ so rung up to see what went wrong and was confirmed yes it was my mistake so I just carried on and tried it and honesty the toppings slid of the base it felt like I was eating off cardboard. My boyfriend, who had the stuffed crust I should have had (yet again I know that was my fault) usually has the double decadence and told me I was being fussy so we swapped pizzas - he then attempted to eat mine and even he wouldn't eat it he said that it was properly over cooked and assured me it isn't usually like this :-/ I am gutted to have spent that much on a pizza for it to come out the way mine did. We use dominos a lot and love it and can honestly say haven't had a bad meal until now. So pushing the over done double decadence create your own pizza to one side I tried the cookies. They too were proper over cooked, usually so so gooey and lovely on the inside they were crunchy and black around the edge. Gutted. So all in all so so angry with this proper gutted :-( won't be using the Newquay branch again - no offence to the staff they were lovely, but i expected better quality than that :-(

That's really nothing to say special about that place but what good you can pick up some food here late night. That's is important as Newquay is not the really 24 hours place to go.

Having not visited a Domino's previously, we were more than happy with the food we purchased.At first we tried to order over the phone in advance, but the menu seemed to differ from the information available online? Obviously that then became difficult so we decided to go along and order on arrival instead, using the menu on the counter. Surprisingly the food was ready within 15 minutes anyway. Nice tasty food in quick time, the only gripe would be the price, but that probably applies to most take-aways around Newquay.

I've ordered here twice and twice they've messed it up with the same issue. Each time I entered my phone number and both times for some reason they've missed a digit. Loved the one response when I called to say prehaps I missed the digit myself whilst reading the confirmation email with my phone number written all over it. Both times they failed to deliver. Won't bother again.

The guys certainly have it nailed here with god swift efficient service and great quality fast food pizzas. Never anything to complain about and the prices are well in order.

Was not over-impressed with this place - I have used other Domino's outlets in various towns without problems and have been happy, but the portion size here (the amount of topping) is very poor and rarely resembles any picture of pizzas on the menu/website.

Ok what food did arrive was quite nice but all that fails when they arrive without the whole order. So I send them away to collect it & they still turn up without the full order. It's not rocket science guys, they took the tip & full money but failed to deliver all items. Won't be using again!
