Just discovered that I now have one of the best Japenese takeaways i've ever tried (and i've tried many in London and Barcelona). Will 100% be a regular from now! Really good quality fish and big portions.

Just been to The Shed for the very first time and I'm very impressed with the food. Been trying roast dinners everywhere in the area and I can say this is the best one by far. Absolutely delicious, meat and vegetables alike. Perfect portion size, good choice of veggies, melt in the mouth pork meat, plenty of gravy, you really can't ask for more.

As frequent visitors to the previous incarnation of Wilks in Bristol, we were delighted to discover its reopening, now in Bath. We made the journey out and were not disappointed.
There are some changes, of course- this is much smaller, more intimate set up- closer to chef's table experience than a typical restaurant. The quality of the food however, and the reason we returned, remains exceptional.
We had a wonderful evening. I do agree with another reviewer that it was chilly inside!

Bad experience due to the rude manager who soured the experience. Worst afternoon tea we have had.
Booked via open table for afternoon tea- menu on website said 38£ each. The menu we were given said £38 each. We were charged £42 each and when we pointed out the mistake were told that this is because we were given a "festive" afternoon tea that we never asked for, was not shown on the menu and were not told about in advance.
When we complained that we were not informed of the extra price we were told rudely by the arrogant manager that it said so on the open table app so we had to pay. There was not a word of apology.
We also paid a service charge. The waiter was courteous and friendly, but the service was slow, certain things were not brought as you would expect throughout despite few people there, and we were told the wrong information for what was in some of the sandwiches and desserts.
So overall we paid £94 and the food itself was also low quality for this price. It used cheap supermarket bread, and overall lacked flavour.
Lovely place, stumbled upon when needed a break, snack & coffee.
Lovely toastie and scone(warm with clotted cream & jam) Great coffee and extremely polite and friendly staff.
Highly recommend
Precio razonable
The Conscious cafe in Bath had lovely dessert items of fine quality.
Both the bakewell tart and the polenta almond lemon cake were perfection! (4.50£ each).
The Americanos were perfect.
Mi 4a vez aquí y el restaurante sigue siendo muy bueno. La berenjena tempura es la mejor que he comido. Ambiente genial y la comida buena relación calidad-precio por la excelente comida.
Amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and suggested the best dinner I've had in a while. Food is absolutely delicious! Would recommend wholeheartedly.
Glad that Salathai was able to fit us in as a couple on a Saturday night. We fortunately got the last unreserved table, and lots of folks were turned away after we left. Tom yum mushroom soup starter was lovely. Just the right amount of spice. Yum moo spicy pork salad was good. Nicely spiced and a very generous portion. For mains we enjoyed green curry with chicken (gaeng kiew wan) with jasmine rice, steamed sea bass (pla neung) and tofu pad Thai. I would have preferred the steamed sea bass whole and on the bone as it is so easy to fillet it at the table and is more succulent I feel. But it was still very tasty. The atmosphere was lovely and it was delightful to see the waiting staff welcoming returning customers in such a genuine and friendly manner. The three staff serving were all extremely friendly. I’m sorry we didn’t get the name of our particular waitress: she was so lovely, smiling and genuinely welcoming g and friendly.
These days it is lovely to find a family run restaurant where the team are happy to look after their customers so well. Far nicer than the anonymous fast food chains all around.
Great small establishment with excellent food. The inside is a little cramped, but they have made use of all of the available space. The burgers are incredible and there will be a different favourite for everyone. I would highly recommend!
