ordered on uber eats and waited an hour, with multiple drivers trying to pick up the order for it to the be cancelled. I phoned up and the man said that the uber driver must have stolen the meal and that i had to order again. it wouldn’t let me order through the app so i phoned back again and he said they aren’t taking orders at the moment. clearly they lied about making my burger and blamed it on uber.

Wanted to come and have a sit down meal, menu looked super good. Walked in and three men at the bar were literally *yelling* at the top of their lungs at some TV sport event. Immediately left. Don’t call yourself a restaurant with that atmosphere. Really horrid experience :/

Brilliant small bar and great food. Slightly out of town but well worth it.

Burgers are always spot on 👌 although the current brioche buns aren't as good as the sesame buns we've had previously. Skinny Fries are nicely seasoned but the el greko fries are amazing! Massive portions whilst being a tiny place - it does get busy quickly and easily especially if football is on. But its certainly cosy when quieter. Glad to see it's definitely still worth the visit.

Spotted this place on our way to the Holiday Inn Express, which meant it was conveniently only a 1 minute walk from our stay. It's a small place but this adds to the warm and cosy atmosphere. We ordered the old school burger, 3 amigos chicken burger, as well as some fries, sweet potato fries, and halloumi fries to share. THE.FOOD.WAS.AMAZING. Likely the best burgers we've had and recommend everyone who comes through Bath to eat here for a quick bite.

Just had the old school classic burger and spicy fries… so good and possibly one of the best burgers I’ve had in the UK.

I had a burger titled Immortals and it was delicious. The meat was juicy and well seasoned and the skinny fries were crispy. The service was amazing and the person who runs the place made feel comfortable straight away.

Don't know what's happened recently but these guys have upped there game, the new brioche and Django recipe may be the best burger in bath, and I don't say this lightly. Highly recommend

My god what a place. Thank god we googled best burgers in Bath and this place came up. I've a godson who is 6'2 ages 16 and eats like a horse. This place satisfied him. He had the 12 monkeys with the el greko fries and halloumi fries with a couple of dr peppers and absolutely enjoyed all of it. Silence while he ate. Reminded me of being abroad footy in, few people drinking beers and watching, couples eating food. Lovely easy benches to eat from, very casual and unassuming and a great welcome. ❤️

We were in town for a night to see the Roman Baths and decided to try a burger. This place was amazing! The atmosphere is fun with relaxed vibes. The food was incredible. And I only wish we had stayed longer in the area so we could enjoy another burger and fry. Make a reservation! Only tip.

The burger and chips was phenomenal, just as older reviews suggested, worth the traipsing out of city centre in the scorching heat, great to find Mythos beer too. Shame there are plans to alter the atmosphere and purpose of the bar rather than capitalising on the great food and making more of a welcoming atmosphere for tourists in what could be a quiet gourmet bar/restaurant.

The interior style is absolutely amazing, the staff are very nice and the food is better than the top restaurants you would find in london and as a huge burger fan this is one of the best places to go if you enjoy them

This is a small bar which serves decent burgers. The place is larger than it looks with seating downstairs and outside. The burger menu is quite extensive and I enjoyed the burger I had. There is Budvar on draught which is a welcome bonus

Great (but fairly pricey) spot for burgers - the base beef patty is really flavourful and cooked to medium-well. Both vegetarian options are really excellent and the jerk chicken is a really tasty beef alternative. We always get sweet potato fries, too - they seem to switch up the recipe regularly (sometimes tempura fried, sometimes a little spicy) but they are always excellent!

Amazing burger and loaded fries. Very small but very friendly atmosphere. Everything cooked to order so there is a 20-30 minute wait once you've ordered, this is stated on the menu and it's well worth the wait. Ordered the Django burger with loaded blue cheese fries. May have been the best burger I've ever had and the fries, served on a hot skillet were amazing. Will certainly visit again if I'm ever back in Bath, a hidden gem.

Incredible burgers and fries, beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The food is packed with flavour and very reasonably priced. This is not fast food, they are gourmet burgers and cooked to order from fresh. The ingredients are clearly of very good quality, the atmosphere is inviting and the prices are very reasonable for such wonderful food. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and if I stay in Bath again, I will without doubt, return to Burgers n Barrels.

Had a burger delivered by Uber eats on a recent visit to Bath. Burger was outstanding. Fries were really good and the Mozzarella sticks were so tasty. Can highly recommend burgers and barrels.

We had a wonderful evening here! Ducked in to get out of the rain, and had a lovely welcome. The gentleman who made our cocktails and took our orders was efficient and friendly. Really laid back atmosphere, and the food was amazing!! Would definitely recommend.

Went after Lunchtime on a Saturday and the place was empty, can only imagine this is because it's a 15min walk away from town because it was simply the best burger I have ever had in my entire life. The Immortal and the Greko chips were absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Not a Bath local, but visited twice in 2 weeks and both times absolutely amazing! Clean, well kept premises, Owner very polite, friendly and trusting. ( difficult to find nowadays!) Stayed nearby, popped in to order, and returned 20 mins later to pay. Well cooked, well presented and delicious. Will always visit when in the vicinity.

Will start with the negatives….poor chef keeps being asked is he Stephen Merchant?‍♂️Positives - Superb as ever! Nothing has changed. Great vibes, great staff (bar lady superb (2nd night) and well the burgers…your loss if you don’t come! Also Budvar on tap which is rare to see. Just love this place! We found this by accident as we were staying in a local hotel but just wanted a quick meal and an early night.What we found was an awesome burger bar that really was excellent and the food was sublime. We would recommend to anyone who loves a good burger and knows what a well put together burger should deliver.Would go again if we are ever in the area without looking at anything else. Great variety in burger construction is what sets this place apart from similar eateries, more often than not there’s 2 or 3 burgers that stand out on any given menu. I’ve had 4 different burgers from here over the last few years, all consistent in quality and flavour, there’s still a few I’d like to try. Each burger is unique in its well paired combinations of toppings and condiments. Fries are well seasoned regardless of which type you choose from the options available, far from the basic fries you sometimes find at burger restaurants . Personally recommend the chilli beef option. The restaurant/bar has an intimate feel about it, never feel rushed to finish your meal whilst still providing efficient service.

This is a little hidden gem, fantastic food, great service. The BEST burgers ever, blow the 5 Blokes out of the water. Fries were the best as well. It really is worth go out of your way to find this place.

Fabulous place. Very attentive and friendly service, Ahmed was happy to tweak the menu for me. I had the Django and my partner had the Italian Job, we shared an El Greko (sic). Absolutely delicious. They also serve amazing cocktails. We are going back tonight.

After reading all the hype I wanted to find out what this place was all about, but I found it lacking in both the customer service and the food. 1. Customer service: The food was delivered late, 45 minutes after the delivery time supplied by Just Eat. The man who answered the telephone was rude and argumentative when I telephoned the restaurant to politely enquire about my order,I requested contact-free delivery but this was not adhered to.2. Food. The meat portion of the burgers was very good but the buns were soggy and the onions in the topping were raw. The fries had some kind of unappetising herb/spice sprinkled all over them, which I had not asked for. Overall a disappointment; next time I want a burger in Bath I will try one of the many other such establishments.
