Burgers and Barrels in Bath and North East Somerset

Having never eaten here before didn’t know what to expect…we used Uber delivery who as normal did their very best to duck things up…but we always have to oven on just in case! Both burgers frankly were awesome, soft bread, juicy patty, sharp pickle and lovely house sauce…one was a classic and the other the Italian job. Fries were very cold as expected thanks to Uber but 5 minutes in the oven and good as new…seasoned bang on. Will definitely be returning, probably next time to sit it!

Such a fabulous find. Best tasty burger selection ever with fabulous sides. The loaded fries and jalapeño slaw were amazing. The staff are lovely. Highly recommend this lovely little burger n bar. We also visited for drinks late on a Friday night (after food service had finished) the bar has a fabulous welcoming vibe. Thank you

This burger bar is by far the worst me and my partner have ever been too. We saw it and thought it would be a lovely quick burger and drink but no it took 1 hour for the burger to come and it was cold!!!! They are Tesco brand burgers that took an hour to cook and plate up. Finally my burger came and it had all the toppings I asked to have removed, a new one came 5 minutes after so why did it take that long I don’t know …. Lastly, the waiter was swearing at my partner in the middle of the restaurant. Not the best hospitality or food in my opinion.

Small but unbelievable place to eat. Best burgers we have had in a long while and the beef brisket, was AMAZING! We visited on Friday and are still thinking and talking about how good the food was. Will definitely be visiting again when back in Bath.

We had a burgers they where lovely. However there service was shocking. The waiter was miserable and didn't ask if we was happy with our meal, or had any allergies. And then took out plates and didn't ask if we'd like a dessert.... just unprofessional and disappointing as the food was lovely.

A small restaurant with a great atmosphere, we loved the marvel decor and marvel burger names. Food was tasty too. And the bar man was very friendly. Great for an evening with friends.

What a fabulous eatery this is. Burger was sooooooo delicious and fries were seasoned and crunchy. A small spot to eat and enjoy the fabulous music, ambience and service. Obviously a business crafted with love for memorabilia and a passion for great food and drinks. Lots of veggie choices. Plenty of drink choices hard and soft. All topped off with great value and genuine service. Loved it!

Small venue, nice and cosy but limited tables available. Nice to sit outside when the weather is good. Our food wasn’t amazing as per other comments so we were a bit disappointed. Both of our burgers were dry maybe we should have asked for more sauce but the patties and brisket itself were dry and overcooked so wouldn’t have made a difference. Mozzarella sticks were overcooked/cold as the cheese string pull was short. The chilli/ sweet chilli sauce was a nice touch to it. Fries were ok, too much seasonings and the cheese was a bit burnt but the chicken did pull nicely and was complimented by the sauce. We understand it is a small business so didn’t want to ask to reduce the bill but it was a disappointing meal for us considering the previous reviews. Price isn’t too bad but we live too far away to ever come here again from our experience.

Wow!! The best burger you can ever have! It’s been a while since we visited (working elsewhere) but so pleased to come back to the burger legends. Rony? Owner/Manager took our many requests of adaptations and nailed them all. No 10/10 available, so it’s five stars from us. It’s not a big place, but we hit a quiet time when we arrived, but the time we left it was full! Highly recommended…..

Pub with the best burgers in Bath! Not your average pub food. Recommending the Danny dorito, What-A-Jerk and the advengers as non-meat option. Cocktails are top of the line. Recommended by several locals we met along when visiting Bath, we checked it out and came back a second time. Five stars!

Finally managed to try out this burger joint. The burger really hits the spot, need a nap after double patties. But it's the loaded fries that should be taking spotlight, the spicy chicken fries took me by surprise, explosion of flavour. Highly recommend. NB - It's a very small place, so would advise reserving a table.

Waited a 70 minutes for the food to arrive, just for them to forget half my order. Proceeded to wait another hour for the rest of the order. This is not the first time your delivery has been terrible

Very small place, we arrived 2 minutes after they opened and got the last table, I'd recommend booking or plan around peak-times. Burger and cheesy fries were great, but the mozzarella sticks are the best you're likely to have. We'll definitely be back,

Cozy pub, with a good vibe but the staff is very unfriendly and unwelcoming which really takes away from what could have been a good experience.

A group of 8 of us booked in for dinner. The food was very tasty and the lager went down nicely with it. You don't get much for your money here, but what you do get is good quality. It's only a small place but it has a good atmosphere and decent decor to go with it. Service was a little slow but special requests and changes to orders were correct which makes a change to many other places. I'd go again.

Wandavision burger used to be amazing and the best vegetarian burger in bath They’ve now removed the halloumi fries from inside it … it is now a below average burger and expensive for what it is. Sadly they’ve now lost a loyal customer due to cost cutting,they should have just upped the price. Very disappointing and won’t be back again.

ordered on uber eats and waited an hour, with multiple drivers trying to pick up the order for it to the be cancelled. I phoned up and the man said that the uber driver must have stolen the meal and that i had to order again. it wouldn’t let me order through the app so i phoned back again and he said they aren’t taking orders at the moment. clearly they lied about making my burger and blamed it on uber.

Wanted to come and have a sit down meal, menu looked super good. Walked in and three men at the bar were literally *yelling* at the top of their lungs at some TV sport event. Immediately left. Don’t call yourself a restaurant with that atmosphere. Really horrid experience :/

Brilliant small bar and great food. Slightly out of town but well worth it.

Burgers are always spot on 👌 although the current brioche buns aren't as good as the sesame buns we've had previously. Skinny Fries are nicely seasoned but the el greko fries are amazing! Massive portions whilst being a tiny place - it does get busy quickly and easily especially if football is on. But its certainly cosy when quieter. Glad to see it's definitely still worth the visit.

Spotted this place on our way to the Holiday Inn Express, which meant it was conveniently only a 1 minute walk from our stay. It's a small place but this adds to the warm and cosy atmosphere. We ordered the old school burger, 3 amigos chicken burger, as well as some fries, sweet potato fries, and halloumi fries to share. THE.FOOD.WAS.AMAZING. Likely the best burgers we've had and recommend everyone who comes through Bath to eat here for a quick bite.

Just had the old school classic burger and spicy fries… so good and possibly one of the best burgers I’ve had in the UK.

I had a burger titled Immortals and it was delicious. The meat was juicy and well seasoned and the skinny fries were crispy. The service was amazing and the person who runs the place made feel comfortable straight away.

Don't know what's happened recently but these guys have upped there game, the new brioche and Django recipe may be the best burger in bath, and I don't say this lightly. Highly recommend

My god what a place. Thank god we googled best burgers in Bath and this place came up. I've a godson who is 6'2 ages 16 and eats like a horse. This place satisfied him. He had the 12 monkeys with the el greko fries and halloumi fries with a couple of dr peppers and absolutely enjoyed all of it. Silence while he ate. Reminded me of being abroad footy in, few people drinking beers and watching, couples eating food. Lovely easy benches to eat from, very casual and unassuming and a great welcome. ❤️

We were in town for a night to see the Roman Baths and decided to try a burger. This place was amazing! The atmosphere is fun with relaxed vibes. The food was incredible. And I only wish we had stayed longer in the area so we could enjoy another burger and fry. Make a reservation! Only tip.

The burger and chips was phenomenal, just as older reviews suggested, worth the traipsing out of city centre in the scorching heat, great to find Mythos beer too. Shame there are plans to alter the atmosphere and purpose of the bar rather than capitalising on the great food and making more of a welcoming atmosphere for tourists in what could be a quiet gourmet bar/restaurant.

The interior style is absolutely amazing, the staff are very nice and the food is better than the top restaurants you would find in london and as a huge burger fan this is one of the best places to go if you enjoy them
