Conscious Café Bar in Bath and North East Somerset

The Conscious cafe in Bath had lovely dessert items of fine quality. Both the bakewell tart and the polenta almond lemon cake were perfection! (4.50£ each). The Americanos were perfect.

What a great find. Rainy shopping day made so much better by the perfect oat milk cappuccino and delicious restorative hot soup with big hunky chunks of bread. As someone who often eats out alone, the lovely warm welcome extended by the staff was something I don't come across often enough. They made me feel valued as a customer. Loved their range of bits and pieces for sale and better than average art on the walls by local artists. I have recommended the CCBar to local friends and anyone visiting. It's a wee gem, both food wise and hospitality wise.

We were told by friends about this brilliant cafe and word of mouth is always the best recommendation. We were not disappointed. Superb food served by friendly and attentive staff. The coffee was so hot and excellent. Such a refreshingly cool venue with local artists exhibited on the first floor. This will be our new go to place when in Bath.

Tasty food that you can tell is good quality. However we were charge £7.50 for a sandwich which was half the size of anyone else’s in the cafe as we were served some tiny slices from the heel of the bread. Minute portion for that price? Not very impressed.

We called in quite late in the afternoon. The team were very welcoming and we had two lovely sandwiches and piping hot americanos. The falafel pitta and cheese sandwich were delicious. We really enjoyed them and we're not vegan nor vegetarian. There was lots of choice on the menu. It might take a while to fill up our loyalty card but we're looking forward to coming back here on a future trip!
