First visit today for the shop. I bought 1 litre of milk and a mix of 3 cheeses. The milk as it used to be in my childhood, cream still in rich creamy and at £1.20 per Litre whats not to love. The cheeses, the first was a blue cheese, really good flavour the blue nice and even, a great blue cheese. The farmhouse mature, nice creamy a good depth of flavour. The soft cheese...wow, getter than most Brie that I have tasted even rated French Brie, I had to try it in a roll with smoked rind on crispy Bacon. Excellent quality all round.

We came for breakfast but unfortunately the food didn't live up to our expectations. I had a croque monsieur which I was really excited for but it was dry and the cheese wasn't warm or gooey, it tasted like it had been sat out for 30 + minutes at least. The other breakfasts were again tough and quite dry, we did arrive for breakfast at 11am and they finish at 11:30, so the kitchen probably couldn't be bothered to make fresh and we had warm ups that were made a while ago. The drinking glasses were also all visibly filthy, I never usually mind if there's a few marks but they were all covered in smears and not cleaned properly which was really off putting. It was a nice atmosphere but such a shame dogs aren't allowed inside, especially when it's freezing cold! They have little shepherds huts but they are so small and without any heaters. There's plenty of tiny cafes in the centre of Bath which allow dogs, so it's quite confusing why they aren't allowed into a spacious cafe on a farm. I don't like to leave negative reviews for independent businesses, but unfortunately we didn't have a good experience

We bought tickets to the fireworks night and had a fantastic evening , the event was really well organised with plenty of parking and lots going on. The cafe looked great with plenty of space to eat, there’s some really cool seating pods looked like they would seat 4 maybe 6 and they were dotted around. I could see some farm animals they looked great, well worth a visit.

I had to ask three times to be served after I sat at the table. Nobody gave me a menu on arrival, and although they said that there was a table service, waiters did not bother coming to see me. The food took ages to be cooked and I had to wait quite for a while even to pay my bill.

Idyllic grounds and a great place to take the kids, but our breakfast experience at the cafe was absolutely awful. We sat down for an 11:00 reservation and were a bit flabbergasted to see no cheese items on the menu, save for a croque madame/monsieur. Upon asking the staff if we could order a cheese toastie, or even a cheese board, we were flat out refused, and told we’d need to wait until they switched to their lunch menu at 12. While i can understand not wanting to complicate the kitchen, we were all astounded that somehow a ‘cheese cafe’ refused to serve us cheese before midday. On top of that, our food took 45 minutes to come out. The staff seemed rather hopeless, as many appeared to be not doing much of anything despite the long wait. Another party even grabbed our carafe of water as we were walking out, so apparently it was not just us. For what it was worth, food itself was decent.

Located in beautiful countryside surroundings with spectacular views of Saltford, Keynsham and Bristol. The working farm was interesting as well as its accompanying farm shop full of home grown goods which also stock the cafe and take away vans; we can recommend the Wyfe of Bath cheese and fig toastie and sausage rolls! Cafe pre book only as was busy and so clearly very popular. Nearby walks around Kelston available and into the village where you can also visit the beautiful little church on select days. Staff at the van and shop were lovely and bought some of the cheese and fig relish we had in our lunch to take home and enjoy. A lovely afternoon out, but recommend going in the week as may be quieter than weekends!

I recently visited Bath Soft Cheese and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my experience! This charming little shop is a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates quality dairy products. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the delightful aroma of fresh cheese and milk. The selection they offer is simply outstanding. I tried several varieties of their artisanal cheeses, and each one was rich in flavor and made with care, absolutely perfect for my cheese board! The fresh milk is a game changer. It’s creamy, delicious, and tastes so much better than anything you can find in stores. Plus, it’s wonderful to know that it comes straight from their farm, ensuring freshness and quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share their passion for their products. I left with a basket full of delightful goodies and a strong desire to return. If you're looking for high-quality cheese and milk, Bath Soft Cheese is a must-visit! Support local and treat yourself to some of the finest dairy around; you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful place to eat. Can be reached both by car - there is a nice large parking lot at the Farm - and by bus; the bus stop is at The Crown in Kelston. From the bus stop it is less than a 5-minute walk to The Bath Soft Cheese Farm. You can take several beautiful walks from The Bath Soft Cheese Farm. Last year we did the Riverside Walk, along the Avon - very beautiful and peaceful. This year we did the Kelston Roundhill walk, a more challenging walk with beautiful views. I visited this morning as a treat for my grand children for a drink and cake but was disappointed with the cake selection. This is a message for the chef or whoever makes the cakes. The gluten free raspberry cheesecake had 1 piece of raspberry only and the rest was gluten free pastry - not like cheesecake filling at all- sadly not enjoyed by my grandchildren. The display cabinet looked boring, no colour just heavy looking cakes and one huge cake covered completely in butter icing. How about a large strawberry flan or mixed berry flan especially during the summer. I didn't even see any scones- how about white chocolate and raspberry or blueberry. Some colour in the cabinet. The main meals looked so colorful with vine tomatoes and the young waiting staff were very attentive

Wow what a Feast We had an afternoon tea here as a birthday celebration. We were met by Matt, the owner, who was charming and escorted us to our table. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our food to arrive and then two tier cake stands were brought to the table. One was full of savoury delicacies and the other cakes and scones. Being the Bath Soft Cheese cafe the savoury items majored on a cheese theme and were fantastic. The sweet offerings were great too. The only comment I have to make is the flavour of the sough dough bread was a bit overwhelming in the sandwiches. The ambiance in the cafe wasn't special as it was mostly concrete and quite noisy, but as we arrived at 3 p.m. most people were leaving and we were the only ones in the cafe by the end. There was so much food we had to ask for 2 doggie bags. I would thoroughly recommend this for a treat but don't have lunch beforehand! The crew was working very hard cleaning and serving and the whole place was very neat and tidy. Thanks Matt and all the team for a lovely treat, we will be back.

Matt was a great host from initial booking to the end, very friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had after returning home. My daughter bought me a Father's Day Hamper from here which was delivered on 14 June. The Blue Cheese was really good but the other cheese weren't all that brilliant. There were other items in the box including 'Blue Cheese Straws'. We eagerly opened them but they were soft and a bit musty smelling. They were inedible and we threw them away. I have emailed the sales team at Park Farm three times over three weeks and have never had any reply. In this internet world this type of customer service is awful, They clearly don't care that a customer was unhappy. I would never buy anything from these people and urge anyone to think what will happen if you are unhappy. Shockingly bad. I have tried to politely engage with them but they just ignore me. They should do better and as I said to them...'you have to take the rough with the smooth' and sort out problems. I gave them two stars because the Blue Cheese was nice and some other items were ok.

This is a review of Bath Soft Cheese as an outside event caterer for my daughter's wedding reception which was held in a nearby barn in May 2024. The organisation for the event was a breeze, we had discussions with Camilla, Georgia and chef Phil. We sampled some of the canapes about 3 months before the wedding and communication was great in the run up to the big day which included a meeting and walk through at the venue about a month beforehand. The pricing was in line with other caterers we had contacted. However compared to weddings we had attended in recent years, the quality and appropriate quantity of the food was outstanding. We had overheard many compliments about meal as well as receiving many direct praises from our guests. The timing of the food service was superb too, chef even checked to ensure that the planned proposed seating time did not need to be altered. At the evening do we were presented with what was simply an amazing grazing table. Full of their own cheeses, cured meats, fruits, vegetables and dips. It was a real showstopper. We cannot recommend Bath Soft Cheese enough based on this event. It certainly made our special day that much more memorable. It was superb!

We sat in a little beach hut outside as we had dogs with us, and that was fine. The cafe inside looked lovely. They have a little shop with various delights on sale, including wine. And they signpost to several circular walks nearby if varying lengths, so if the rain ever stops we'll do that next time!

It was amazing food and the staff were so helpful and kind, couldn’t fault their customer service at all. Highly recommend.

Beautiful outing with the family, Plenty to keep little ones busy with play area and viewing areas for milking and cheese making. Food was wonderful and we were disappointed that we needed to leave so soon due to other plans or could have stayed much longer. Really amazing place and will be returning.

The food was ok. The pork and apple sauce bap tasted very cheesy. Service from waitresses was very poor. Each time they came to our table, it was like they couldn't get away any quicker. So we had to call them back to ask for things like condiments and extra cutlery for our children. And then I noticed that there was a service charge automatically added to our bill. Very presumptuous. Would have preferred to be asked to add this on and for it to be a rewarded for good service. Having it added on I feel controbut d to staff feeling complacent with the service they gave. No check back. Few smiles. Let down the venue in my eyes. Came here to enjoy some time with the family and friends, but left this venue feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Great for a tiny place. A quaint cafe, private huts to enjoy a coffee, even on a rainy day. There's a small children's park as well as viewing windows to watch the cheese making and cows.

Great place to visit with children. The play area needs some tlc. Could be moved to a bigger area, and the small pebbles/stones under the play equipment do not feel very safe.

Great vegan food. The burrito and treacle tart were both fantastic.

Popped into their new location in the Ram this morning, with a friend. Amazing, great coffee, a secret sausage roll to die for, great staff...time to chat and a great atmosphere.
