I literwally can’t believe how fweaking spectacular this coffee bwewing building is. it’s litwally ruddy excellent.

Great drinks and incredibly nice ppl. Went out of their way to find some 'colouring in' for my kid to do when he was a bit emotional. He was thrilled and it made our lives loads easier. Also great to find a place open till 6 on a Sunday!

Fantastic latte - you pay a bit more but well worth it

Twice I've been there and twice had lukewarm coffees. I did receive a replacement coffee which was warmer than the others.

I don’t drink coffee - my go to drink is a chai latte. And this chai latte was absolutely top 5 of all chai lattes I’ve ever had! Lovely friendly staff as well. Highly recommend!

The coffee was more than excellent and the cake was delicious and with an amazing aromatic flavour. The place is comfortable and quiet and connected to an old market. The staff are more than nice and nice.

Wheelchair accessible entrance. Cafe is small but outdoor seating/seating in the arcade. Good tea and coffee and several gluten free cake options.

Small cafe by the Abbey, with outdoor seating and umbrellas for shade, or rain! They sell amazing pastries, that are so flaky and delicious. Not cheap but totally worth it.

Had a good batch brew. Good atmosphere too!

Every barista was friendly and helpful. Best cafe mocha we have ever had and we've had mochas from hundreds of independent coffee shops around the world. Whatever chocolate they used was phenomenal!

Waiting 5min no service no welcoming there was 2 people in the afternoon barista was just chatting on the side and the other person just tried to avoid us.

Had some excellent coffee from here when in Bath to attend my daughter's graduation ceremony for Norland College. I tend to find the coffee from independent places is almost always better that at the gig four coffee chains. This experience supports that.

Sadly, I felt this café on both recent visits has adopted a "you aren't a regular customer" vibe. The staff appear to have an odd attitude towards some customers, whilst treating others like shareholders. On top of that, day old pastries sold at fresh prices, it's the last they will see of me. Roll on monday when Rosario returns.

Such wonderful service from a lovely young man in a cap. Yummiest hot chocolate, mmm. I felt very comfortable and settled right in.

Fantastic coffee in a no-frills environment steps away from the main drag. Excellent flapjacks and muffins.

Lovely little place to have some specialty coffee and tea. Stumbled upon the place a few years ago when I was a tourist, and now that I work in Bath I kept going back! And they have a branch in the town I'm living in (Cheltenham) as well. Their espresso-based coffee is really good, but wow the guest aeropress I had was amazing! Can't wait to try what they'll have next.

Good coffee, yesterdays pastries

I’m giving one star for the quality of the food. Service was nice, and it’s a cozy little coffee shop, but I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk and it was VERY watered down, barely any chocolate at all. If you’re charging £4 for a small hot chocolate, at least add more chocolate powder or other type of chocolate into the milk. Overpriced and not tasty at all.

The place is gorgeous, beautiful, magnificent. I love the feeling, the decoration and just the overall vibe that you get when you’re in there. Location is peak as well. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the coffee. I had originally ordered a cappuccino and did not like it. I thought it was potentially a one off bad brew, so I went back there a few days later to order a latte this time. It wasn’t any good either. I do love this place I do not like the coffee serves .

Very good location, right in the tourist trap zone. Coffee could be so bad because of this but it was actually rather good! Well done!

Great specialty coffee. I just had the batch brew and it was great. Also the staff is amazing. I ordered a coffee and had to run to get a train before it was done, the next day they insisted on comping it. As a result I got my coffee there the rest of the trip of course! The other location in town is good, but I found the people here friendlier.

Nice small coffee shop in a nice location with a view of the Abbey and Guildhall. Small outside seating area, which was nice as it was quiet. Flat White was nice

Coffee was FAR too hot! When you can’t hold a ceramic cup it’s too hot. Coffee should be ready to drink. Pastry was 10/10 as was the customer service! Sadly won’t be coming back, burnt coffee is a no.

Lovely spot for tea (numerous options with and without caffeine) and some truly delicious small lot coffee (espresso alone or into americanos, flat whites, lattes, etc.; no stale filter coffee here). There're some spots in the front and side windows with partial views of Bath Abbey and some wonderful people watching or some additional cosy seating in the basement (with a guest toilet just a bit further down). Highly recommended for a recharge break from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

This is a really cute coffee shop that is in a great location. The upstairs is great, but the downstairs is a little small and smells a bit strange. While they the shop has vegan options, I think it is a bit expensive for the taste. I'm not sure if I would come here again to get the desserts. The coffee is REALLY good. However they do not have any flavors. At least vanilla or caramel drizzle would be nice. They do offer sugar shots, but they alter the taste of the coffee. This is a great place for basic coffee with nothing altered. It is quite expensive.

A very cute and friendly place to get drinks and some food. The staff are very friendly and helpful, working quickly to get you served. The smoothies are delicious and their pastries are very tasty. There's seating downstairs which is quieter than upstairs as there's no foot traffic down there. Would recommend for anyone.

Love this place! We got married in July 2022 and wanted to get a coffee to have 10minutes to ourselves after the ceremony so we could take it all in. Of course, we forgot our wallets in all the excitement and the staff kindly gave us a free coffee. It was such a nice moment sitting in the cafe and enjoying some people watching. Thank you

Graduation weekend in Bath and grabbed a quick Cortado before heading to the Abbey. It was so good and the friendly baristas meant went back 3 more times over the weekend. Small with limited seating but worth waiting

We just had two coffees and 2 pastries. Both good, but a bit expensive. I initially ordered a Latte but then changed my order to an Americano. I got the latte, but I accepted it because I had waited about 15 minutes for it.

Chair latte, cappuccino and Croissant are soo good.

Lovely and friendly staff! The espresso machine is cyan in colour and a thing of beauty, in my opinion. The decaf latte I got was smashing and it came with a lovely latte art 😍

Great for takeaway coffee, consistently good coffee, I’ve been frequenting Society for years and I’ve never had a bad coffee. Great selection of fresh cakes and pastries from a local bakery (though you have to get there early for almond croissants!). Nicely decorated, minimal but has a warm feel. There’s a few seats inside and a few outside undercover of The Corridor, I like sitting in the large window facing the street and watching the world go by. If you can’t find a seat, Society Cafe in Kingsmead Square is a 5 minute walk away and the coffee experience is equally good.

A good place for working. Friendly service and good latte.

Peanut and chocolate cookies are to die for!!

Whilst it's a nice cafe with a nice location and friendly staff the coffee is pretty poor. From a long black, filter and aeropress it's brown water, maybe the espresso based milky coffees are decent but for those that take their coffee without milk I would avoid.

Friendly staff in this original cosy cafe. Places to sit outside and inside where you order at the till and have your drinks / food delivered to you once ready. Would recommend the 58% hot chocolate and fan favourite Society Tea. Plenty of delicious sweet treats on offer and all for reasonable prices.

Clifton Coffee was fantastic made by a barista who knew what she was doing. Downside was, as usual in Bath, toilet is down stairs so no good for many disabled patrons.

Plain and simple cracking good little cafe. Good service,friendly staff and an excellent cup of tea. Sit inside or outside the choice is yours. Free WiFi. Toilet is downstairs, top tip watch your head as you go in as it is a low arched ceiling. Clean and tidy unisex toilet.

We contacted Society Cafe just after my coeliac diagnosis and they were so helpful.  They took the opportunity to talk to their cake supplier, and as a result changed all the labelling all to Non Gluten Containing Ingredients.  Although their cakes and display aren’t coeliac safe, we were impressed at the proactivity and openness of this business.  Although we can’t eat there, we’ll definitely pop in for a coffee - but avoid the oat milk! Great little coffee shop! Perfect place to stop on the street if you can get a seat outside. Server was nice and friendly. Lots of alternative milks to choose from.

Coffee is very nice sadly they did not have ice tea as advertised on their board only in July.

Always come here whenever we visit Bath, shop is well presented, coffee is seriously good (good with milk alternatives too) and they have a great vegan/gluten free range of cakes too. Love it :)

Good tasting but only warmish coffee, excellent cake, staff could have been more attentive so overall, a bit disappointed. Shame.

Decent tea and hot chocolate in Bath, however it was disappointing to see that they charge extra for all types of alternative milks (I can understand almond, coconut etc but Soy?) You can buy soy milk for the same if not a cheaper price than cows milk, and it feel like there is unfair punishment of someone who is lactose intolerant.

Best Flat White in Bath and always wonderful friendly service. My dog always loves stopping by too, it’s one of her favorite spots in town.

On a rainy day it is surprising how quiet Society Cafe is. All the chains were full but here has better coffee and better service. Highly recommended for a coffee break in Bath.

Excellent coffee. Lovely taste and far above the coffee you get in the high-street chains. We tried quite a few terrible coffees around the City before we found this one. We'll be back to Society Cafe when we return to Bath.

Stopped for coffee after walking around Bath for a while. Great service. Sat outside and watched the world go by. Also had two choc chip cookies which were chocolatety without being over sweet. My wife ( a dedicated tea drinker) enjoyed her latte so much she ordered a second one. My Americano was very tasty-great coffee.

I understand it is tricky at the minute with Covid but found the service to be quite abrupt on my visit and not what I have been used to with Society on previous visits... Ordered a batch brew coffee but didn't taste particularly fresh. Overall left a bit disappointed... However my friend enjoyed his hot chocolate. :)

Had coffee and granola outside - good granola and would of bought some to take away - if not for the staff. I asked to use the loo - was told I had to queue again In view of restrictions which I did. I then got called in - I asked where loo was told for customers only - I needed to buy a drink - I said we have had drink. Guy serving chatting to a Customer friend - who didn’t have a mask on! But that was ok 👎. I was upset by the way staff treated me.

Went in there yesterday - queued to order coffees - tried to use toilet - and guess what they are closed! Too much work to clean regularly I assume! C19 excuse! So we ask the waiter why this was, as they sell coffee and by nature one may need to use the toilet - and he was just rude and unhelpful and said how well they sell coffee, and pretty much did not care about our custom - what a rude and pretentious waiter. Next door coffee shop has the bathroom open for its customers. I guess they want to save themselves the work of cleaning more regularly. Having waiters that respect their customers would be a good start, we won't go there anymore, they are enough good places for coffee in Bath to avoid Society café, which is not the best anyway, just well located. Bath is so small that that doesn't even matter! we can change easily. Good manners is what I like. Also if they don't provide a full service/facilities then drop the price, don't think that Mr Pretentious would think of that , would he? Support local shop - let me think!!!!

always a superb coffee from society cafe at the corridor - friendly service and nice chat and they even remember the coffee i like and how i like it. a cut above your normal chain coffee shop whilst remaining unpretentious. i work just round the corner from the shop and this is where i send any customer who ask for a good coffee shop nearby.

Visited here twice over the course of a weekend for a coffee and it was excellent both times. Service was really friendly and efficient too. Not a lot of seating, but outside tables are a lovely place to watch the world go by!

I tried 2 branches of Society Café with same ice americano. Such smooth coffee I ever have here. Staffs are more skilful and friendly than another one.
