Great spot to grab an espresso of you're heading down to the shore for the weekend. Selection of baked goods also. Looks like they have story time for the kids and other community activities.

I loved my "Cortado" -- rich with frothed cream & two espresso shots, mmm. Sadly, it was gone too quickly! So I also got a brewed coffee w/ light cream, which did not disappoint. Visit soon. You'll be glad you did! Updating... loved loved my Double Cortado!!

Lovely space, impressively decent coffee (not meant to be a dig- I'm spoiled by living in bigger cities), and maybe as importantly, such a kind, attentive staff! Space has tables to work at and couches to hang out on, and the place is so spacious. I got straight black coffee - not acidic, not burnt tasting, great depth of flavor. Go support this place!

Cute place inside and delicious coffee! Also had a great conversation with the manager also. So happy there are smaller local shops to choose from rather than the standard Dunks or M'Lous !

I had the best hot Latte ever! My goal is to try everything on the menu at least once. Come and relax, enjoy some coffee or tea, and a pastry. Their coffee is Fair Trade (Equal Exchange). The business is nonprofit. The staff is outstanding! The atmosphere is relaxing and casual. Please visit The Bridge Coffee House. You won’t be disappointed.

The Bridge Coffee House is just wow! An amazing space for studying, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing with a good book. The coffee tastes great! Clearly very fresh and has a great flavor. Don't even get me started with how wonderful the staff is! They are kind, helpful, and knowledgable about the products they are selling. The Bridge is a MUST go!

We spotted this cafe that you get to through the charity shop and go upstairs. Lovely airy room and if you get a window seat like we did great for watching the world go by. Friendly service from the young guy who must have been the manager, he was also instructing another young guy who seemed new to the job. Food in the cabinet looked delicious, plenty of vegetarian options. I chose frittata, my hubby had one of the quiche options, both were served hot with salad, both really good. We treated ourselves to cake too, who can resist! Orange and polenta cake for me, it was really good, so zinggy with citrus, fab.

This is a hidden gem. One of my favourite places for coffee in Bath. And I can justify spending on coffee because it supports a very worthwhile local charity. If you get a window seat you can look out over the river to the hills beyond and watch tourists posing for selfies with the bridge and weir in the background. Service can be a little slow at busy times, but staff very friendly. Limited range of food, but all freshly prepared.

Few people suspect that the first floor of the Dorothy House charity shop on Bridge Street houses a coffee shop offering a range of brews, plus cakes, pastries and hot snacks. If you can get a table by the windows you can enjoy your coffee while watching the hustle and bustle outside. The seating area is fairly small, and it can be noisy when full, but all profits go to the Dorothy House charity rather than into the coffers of some global tax-avoiding company, so give it a go!

Popped into a charity shop ( Dorothy House) to discover a small coffee shop upstairs. What a find! Wonderful coffee. Interesting variety of toasters and pain is. Potato pie or quiche with salad. Cakes looked delicious, as did the large scones - next time! Very reasonably priced. Lovely views. Will make this a regular haunt.

Dropped in for a coffee on a sunny day with my ginger friend. Had an excellent flat white made by the tall blond barista who seemed a top bloke. Looked like he was holding the fort on his own, though, which meant he was having to do everything. He did a fine job, though - friendly service, good location, and quality coffee and paninis. Tip that man!

Popped in today for the first time hoping this wouldn't be too busy as other coffee shops in the area were packed. Coffee shop is accessed through a charity shop and up some quite steep steps. Only about 7/8 tables and served a selection of tea/coffee/cakes and light snacks. Coffee and cake were very nice and a generous amount of tea. Staff polite and atmosphere very unhurried so you were left in peace to chat. Interesting bathroom in a massive room up a flight of stairs but very clean. Would definitely visit again.

I had a really nice creamy flat white here. The customer service was friendly and the setting was peaceful. Above all I love the fact that this coffee shop is supporting a charity and not just making some corporation richer. They've really invested in some great artisan coffee too.

I'm reluctant ro criticise a charitable enterprise so I hope this is taken as constructive criticism. I have been an infrequent customer over the years and have found the speed of service really quite slow. You wouldn't expect Caffé Nero level service but given how few customers there usually are and with two employees service could and should be significantly quicker. With a small number of tables this would also help releasing tables for new customers on the occasions it is busy. The staff are polite and friendly though. Also, it would be helpful if customers' comments on Tripadvisor, most of which are reasonable and well-meant, received a response from Coffee House 76.

Perhaps we visited at the wrong time on a rainy Sunday afternoon, but all four of us wished we'd gone elsewhere. Wanting to support an independent outlet rather than the big chains, and the rain chased us in here rather than pushing through to the top of town and our intended destination. Corporate prices and a feeble selection of cake left us as washed out as the pedestrians below. My daughter paid £3.60 for an insipid take away cup of greyness. One lady serving and valiantly battling along on her own, and we saw two parties climb the stairs and leave without ordering even though there were only two other customers... Sorry; please can someone revamp and upgrade this potentially great little place. But, yes, a wonderful view and ideal spot for people watching.

I visit Picnic Coffee every week for the delicious coffee and lemon drizzle cake. However, the staff just bring my order to the table and walk away without a word or a glance at me. Where are the staff other reviewers praise so highly?

Visited this cafe with my 2 children, we had a drink first the children done some colouring which they enjoyed, We then went into the soft play area cost £4 per child adult £1 , your in there for a hour, the children had a lovely time, my only complaint is they were not allowed to leave the soft play area for a drink as if they did they wouldn’t be allowed back in,
