Very stale croissants and £9 for a salmon sandwich consisting of two white pieces of bread salmon cream cheese is not what we were expecting. But kind staff and nice place

Very lovely and homely cafe, had an amazing pistachio pastry bite, a lovely Honduras filter. My brother had an amazing looking Hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. Definitely recommend for breakfast and brunch.

Had two takeaway coffees (oat milk available). Nice coffee and the coconut and pistachio biscuits were absolutely delicious. Very friendly service

Such a wonderful family-owned cafe! Outside seating is a dream when weather is nice & cozy warm seating inside on colder weather. This is definitely my favourite cafe in Bath! The staff are very friendly, and so helpful! The food is impeccable! Their English Breakfast and pastries are my favourite! A must try in Bath!

Visited here for Sunday breakfast. The service was friendly and speedy. It’s a small menu but tasty. I had eggs Benedict which was good as was the coffee. I would personally have preferred the sauce to be warm or at room temperature as it had come straight from the fridge in a small pot. Originally was going to have an English breakfast but the meat would have been halal which I personally do not want to eat.

Very good coffee. Also brought a plain croissant I was a little disappointed with the quality as it wasn't freshly baked. Unfortunately it was like a plastic packet type you get in a supermarket.

Though I'm generally a Tea lover. I popped in for a Coffee. Wow, LuLu Caffè has now become my place of choice for coffee. The tea is great too, white/one sugar and milky. My Thing. The staff are always friendly and I noticed, part time tour guides, for the visiting tourists. Whether I sit inside, outside or just get a takeaway drinks. Nothing is too much for these guys. You must try the Full English Breakfast or Advocado Smothered Toast. Hearty or Simple, it just hits the spot. I'm there regular enough! Other items I've had, are noted below. A stones throw from Bath College, Bath Spa and Sauna and the City Centre.

Lunch for under £10 well worth it! I came to have some lunch and do a bit of work. The tables are lovely to sit at, with plugs to use and comfortable seating. You can have some lovely eggs on toast and a cold drink for under £10. Far more for your money than Starbucks or Costa, loyalty card for free drinks all the same and much cheaper. The service and atmosphere is really lovely too. 199% recommend.

We had two salmon and egg breakfasts plus two matcha (we had ordered mochas). It was good, but very expensive, even for England: €42. I think it's better to go there for drinks rather than food. That being said, I’d rather pay €42 at a small business than at a chain like Starbucks.

I regularly go here and I have never had a bad experience. I much prefer this place to a chain coffee shop! Each and every one of the workers are very lovely and the food tastes great!

It has everything you’d expect from a chain coffee shop (charging points for your laptop and phone, plugs with USB ports!) nice inside or outside seating with large parasols for shade… watch Bath pass by while sitting next to some lovely scented flowers and herbs. As soon as you walk in the greeting is so warm and friendly, they have coffees of every description. I can really recommend the traditional Turkish coffee and Baklava. The cakes and biscuits are to die for! Make sure you get a loyalty stamp card for your free coffee after a few visits.

The person behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. They really made my group feel at home and comfortable, checking on the specifics of our food requests and making recommendations on the drinks. The food came promptly and was lovely, especially the mushrooms which had a unique lemony flavour, which sounds unusual but was really, really nice. The gluten free toast was also good which is often not the case. I was there with friends who are not from the area and it was lovely to go somewhere independent and to be met with such warm service. Highly recommend.

We visited this cafe as we read the glowing reviews and were looking forward to sampling the breakfast. We ordered two breakfasts and two coffees. When the breakfasts arrived, we noticed that the “scrambled eggs” were uncooked. I assumed we were getting fried eggs as you normally get with any breakfast (unless specified, of course). Anyway, I went back to the gentleman behind the till and explained about our eggs and there was also an extra item missing from my order. I was met with disdain. Rather than to bring us a separate portion of cooked eggs (or to check which eggs we would like to be served) he took both of our plates away and then came back with the same breakfast. The eggs were still uncooked and appeared very wet. I wouldn’t visit this cafe again.

Very disappointing. The name of the lunchroom and the pics here on Google don't match with what you get. Poor atmosphere. Food is far too simple for the price to pay.

Wonderful staff, wonderful coffee. The chap behind the counter that served me, Hassan, was evidently very well versed in not just the making of coffee, but the contextual history of it too. This sharply contrasts most visits to other cafe's where I've stood in awkward silence as the barista rushes to make a coffee, and it made for an intriguing and eye-opening visit! I had never tried Turkish coffee before, however Hassan walked me through how it's made, and what you can add to it to change the taste based on subjectivity. I ended up taking it to a park whilst reading a book, and it was just magnificent. P.S, to those reviewers bemoaning prices, please don't blame the cafe nor its staff; inflation, and the effects of a post-covid economy hasn't made it easy for independent retailers and traders. You might find at franchise stores that prices might be cheaper, but this is typically reflective of the quality of the products they serve. Lulu Coffee is an exceptional establishment, and I wish them all the best for their future business - it would be well deserved.

We came across here by chance, the atmosphere was cute, the staff were very friendly and the food was just amazing. I enjoyed that they serve English style breakfast but also some arabic features such as baklava and Turkish coffee There during selection was big and everything we ate was so delicious. Would love to return again next time I visit England. It definitely is worth trying the baklava which is vegan, but tastes absolutely amazing!

I was just so disappointed and a bit upset that I paid £9 for avocado on toast and got one piece of sandwich loaf. Otherwise it seemed like a nice place. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I just think you should up the quality of the food, even just the bread, or reduce the price. Sorry. I’m sure you could say I should have said something at the time but what do you say? Seems like quite a few other reviews mention this about the avocado on toast. I understand that everything is expensive and running a business is hard but I think this is a small and easy thing to improve on. Staff were lovely and helpful otherwise. It seems like a lovely little family run business. Might just stick to a coffee next time.

Their matcha was not good at all, grainy, low quality, dark green colour and had to ask for it to be topped up as they hadn’t filled it to the top. I’m sure their other things would be nicer though, just a little dissappointed!

The cafe is located in a pretty nice area of town. Not the best location best certainly quite a nice one. The coffee however is of very high quality, and it gives the vibe of a small locally run place. If the weather is good I highly advise sitting outside too, it is extremely cute and wonderful :)

Warm and friendly cafe. Situated in a nice corner and it’s a great place to have coffee every morning especially when the sun is out. They have a good variety of nice meals and snacks. Love the english breakfast and the Brie sandwich!

Worst cafe we’ve been during our south England trip. Croissant was at least 2 days old. The avocado dish was way overpriced for a bit of avocado paste on a toast. Coffee was ok.

Lovely cafe with fantastic food and excellent coffee. Very friendly staff who sorted me out with some gluten free toast with my english breakfast and made sure it was all okay for me. The pastries were so tasty and my partner said the baklava in particular was amazing - we now are coming back as much as we can to get one for her!

Lulu Cafe is my favorite corner in Bath! The customer service is first class, from amazing quality coffee to really delicious snacks, it's great for a visit throughout the day! Everyone always assists you with a big smile on their faces, which makes your day amazing! Anas is always so helpful and accommodating, it's a place that you definitely want to return to many times! I’m not sure if this place has changed owners since the last reviews but today I paid £10.95 for a single piece of brown toast with some avocado mushed on, with two poached eggs on top. If you order the regular toast, it’s £5.95 for two pieces of bread with butter, jam and marmalade. It was tasty enough but the prices are disproportionately high even by Bath’s standards and there was no offered choice on bread (white, brown) or how the eggs were cooked (poached, fried). The service was friendly at the counter but alas the toilet utterly filthy.

Excellent cafe opposite Bath College. Good range of coffee and try the vegan baklava, it’s yummy. The cafe is 5 mins walk from Southgate shopping with a number of pavement tables and chairs to watch the world go by.

Delicious americano and English breakfast tea (made with proper tea leaves) and sweet cherry Bakewell cake enjoyed in the sunshine after sightseeing in Beautifull Bath. This is a brilliant independent coffee caffe, enjoy.

Stood at the till I thought I had made a grave mistake. The place looks weathered and a bit dim. But damn!!! The coffee is sublime, best I've had in bath for sure. Food is also not bad and you get those packets of mayonnaise that are better than any other mayonnaise for some reason.

We found it by chance… good selection of teas, nice people, very good cakes. We enjoyed a relaxing time there. Also the background music helped to relax.

Ummmmmm not sure I would recommend. Staff were friendly. Coffee was ok. However, not sure I’d be happy to eat at the premises. It’s dirty. Popped to the toilet, walking down a dirty flight of stairs to see a chap sat on boxes where the food is stored. Room looked unclean and unorganised. The toilet was grotesque as was the whole area. If that’s how the facilities are kept, God knows how the hygiene is elsewhere! Wouldn’t go back.

Excellent little family run friendly independent. Called for brunch with my wife and daughter and sat outside. Although a busy Sunday, the service was prompt and efficient. I had the poached eggs on toast, which were fine. The eggs were nicely done. My daughter had Eggs Royal with an extremely generous amount of smoked salmon. The baklava was the best that I've tasted in a long time and the coffee was excellent. Some reviews have claimed that the cafe is a little expensive. I think that their prices are similar to other establishments in Bath. There is an element of "you get what you pay for". And as a Yorkshire Man (short arms and deep pockets), I find everything in Bath is expensive!

This is the sweetest, friendliest Cafe in Bath! The owners and staff are so welcoming... when I am feeling low this is where I go for a little pick-me-up and some smiles :) Delicious coffee and wonderful treats. I keep coming back again & again!

Probably the worst eggs royale I’ve ever had in my life. [EDIT] Since the owner wants some feedback here you go: 1. Normally served on sourdough I got a very sad sliced bread. 2. On the menu it said it had Hollandaise sauce but you served it with store-bought mayonnaise. 3. The egg was soggy and watery. 4. Just quite bad overall, 0 seasoning or flavour. All of this for an extortionate price.

Lulu Caffe is a home away from home. My visit there today was wonderful! I enjoyed their smashed avocado on toast and a piping hot black coffee, which I was served in the sun. The staff here are welcoming and kind. I recommend the cafe to anyone!
