Koi Sushi and Hotfood in Bath and North East Somerset

Not fantastically cooked and the taste was generally bland. Both katsu curry sauce and aubergine were too sweet. Could have done just as well if not better at a supermarket.

Highly recommend!! Love love love their food always so fresh and excellent customer service. Always on time and very kind staff.

I can't even explain how much I love the food from Koi Sushi! We have ordered many times, and it never disappointed. Bao buns are the best I ever had. My favourite is with chicken karage. Gyozas melt in your mouth, and the sushi is just perfect ❤️ I hope they stay in business because you won't be able to find another place like this.

Really enjoyed the sushi, okonomiyaki and takoyaki I ordered. Pleasantly surprised as it is located in Keynsham rather than central Bristol. Definitely recommended!

Beautifully presented, fresh salmon sashimi don. Delicious, generous portions. Also ordered 1/4 duck with pancakes which is the best I have ever tasted. The duck meat was wonderfully tender whilst still having a bit of crispy skin. Good value and friendly helpful staff member. Will definitely return.

Bought sushi, takoyaki and okonomiyaki, all tasted great! Don’t buy sushi a lot but this definitely one of the best I’ve had. Reasonable price as well. Really good quality food. Hidden gem in Bristol!

I ordered a dish which said it had mixed tuna, prawn, salmon and tobiko. Unfortunately, it included squid (which I cannot eat). This had NOT been present in the dish description. When I called to explain, I politely ask for a refund as I couldn’t eat it. The female who answered LAUGHED at me, and I told me no with no genuine reason why. Terrible customer service.

Hands down one of the best take out sushi places ive ever ordered from, can take a while on a busy night but OMG is it ever worth it, ordered twice so far & will be going back this weekend! Keep up the good work guys!

After a no show on Saturday evening (their driver delivered to the wrong address and denied it) they opened especially on Sunday to make sure I got my order. I couldn’t be more grateful and impressed with how they dealt with it. Thank you - true customer service from a local family run business. The sushi was fab too ⭐️

If you love sushi you have to try this place, authentic and such great quality and incredible value. We will be making this our regular for sushi. It is the best we have had!

Absolute treat to have Japanese food locally and this place did not disappoint. Ordered a range of items from the menu and so happy with everything. Clean, tasty and well presented food. Our new favourite takeaway in Keynsham.

Easily the worst takeaway we have ever had, on a scale of 1-10 it doesn’t even come up to dreadful, it’s well beyond zero. Would we eat it again? Well, we’ve seen Tom Hanks in Cast Away and we’d rather be him. Would we eat it again? If it was a question of this or camel’s testicles with goat’s eyeballs - mmmm, goat’s eyeballs, yummy! We’re off to McDonalds now for a proper meal and we never stoop that low!

Delicious food, for sushi it was very reasonably priced and very good portion sized. Well presented, and very quickly prepared. A regular Friday lunchtime treat for us, and loved by us and the kids. Would definitely recommend!

If you can't be bothered to read the review - just go to place. You won't regret it. It was superb. I would suggest ordering ahead though. For the review itself: I've been to many Japenese restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, New York, Paris and London, and I didn't expect to find a place that could match those tastes. Much less in Keynsham of all places. Yet this place managed It. What the couple here have acheived is nothing less than brilliant. The quality of the food and cooking is excellent. The spider rolls were fantastic. The udon - divine. The wasabi was actually... wasabi. For reference, if your can stomach more than a single chopsticks laden of wasabi (I'm looking at you yo sushi and wagamama) then its not wasabi. This was proper. I'm slightly concerned that the couple will quickly move on to own a larger restaurant in the city, so I urge anyone and everyone to try this while it lasts because it's a rare thing. Me and partnet have agreed that this will likely be a highlight of our week, and we do intend to make it a weekly thing. Finally, addressing what others have said about price, for the quality of the cooking - the price is very reasonable. I would suggest that people order ahead of time unless they don't mind waiting. It's pleasant in the shop and me and wife didn't mind waiting, but others might. - O

Really glad to have authentic and delicious Japanese food locally. Really enjoyed our meal and will be back regularly. Sushi was perfect and the takoyaki has got to be the ultimate comfort food! I hope you will consider adding ramen. I know its hard to transport but I've seen it done well where the broth is delivered in a separate jug.

Great food we had the Oyakodon, Vegetable Gyoza Bento and Spicy Squid Rings - had to save some of the squid for later as our mains filled us up. After 2 fab trips to Japan its great to have this on our doorstep.

Disappointing, the food is amazing but portions aren't great. £30 for what would of fed 1 person.

We live around a 4 minute drive from the restaurant and when we got home, all of our food was cold. Items were missing from our order and most of the sauces we had had leaked. Very visible entrails had not been cleaned from the prawns and squid was chewy. Very overpriced for the food that was served.

So glad this place has opened in Keynsham. Quick service, lovely food and really good sushi. Thank you, we’ll definitely be coming back!
