I visited this Indian restaurant based on its Google reviews, but my experience was nothing like what I expected. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was dull and unimpressive. The service was beyond terrible—slow, inattentive, and unprofessional.
The food itself was of very poor quality, lacked authentic flavor, and was simply not enjoyable. But the worst part was the hygiene—or lack thereof. A trip to the restroom revealed just how poorly maintained the entire place is. The cleanliness of the kitchen was also highly questionable, making me wonder how this restaurant is even still operating.
We visited with kids, and by nighttime, everyone had stomach aches, which is deeply concerning. On top of everything, the prices were outrageously high for what was essentially a low-standard dining experience.
You might be able to overlook bad service or overpriced food, but when it comes to hygiene and health, it’s non-negotiable. If you care about your well-being, avoid this place at all costs!
After a walk around the grounds, I was looking forward to lunch at the brasserie. Looking at the menu I wanted something substantial but not too filling as I didn’t want to spoil the meal I was having at Restaurant Hywel Jones.
I opted for...
Paramos aquí para cenar y lo que el chef le hizo a nuestra comida solo se puede describir como mágico. Estamos convencidos de que hay un Unicornio en la cocina.

Para capturarlo, replicarlo y quedárselo.

Wanted try this place for long time, but unfortunately was really disappointed about the main meal.
Ordered focaccina barese and parmigiana.
Focaccia was absolutely delicious. Fresh and nicely crispy. Little bit salty - but I usually put lots of salt on everything as well. So was okay for me.
But the parmigiana was soo salty, that I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. And as I said, I put lots of salt on everything. But this was far too much even for me.
Saw online that they had ribs on the menu and I’ve been craving them, so we went. Hubby got the Tomahawk pork chop—excellent, except the mash had some weird tasting ingredient. I ordered the rib tray. The pork ribs were far too hot/spicy for me, burnt my mouth. Corn ribs, slaw, and fries were excellent. Ana who works there checked in on us and when I mentioned the ribs, she quickly offered to bring something else that I could eat. I opted for a cheeseburger and she had it out quickly. No doubt if you like hot/spicy food, these ribs will be a treat, but if you’re looking for traditional barbecue (US style or sweet) then these will disappoint. The service here, however, is excellent, as is the atmosphere/vibe/decor.
Pretty typical English tea room; excellent service; excellent tea (choose “typical English”!); unfortunately very average pastries (too sweet, little taste)
Wow!
