Super cute place with comfy tables, booths, little nooks and crannies. Good food and friendly bartender who did a great job juggling all of his duties. I had the chicken pie with mash and my husband had the beef stew with a little salad and crusty bread. It was all fresh and presented really attractively. I would go there again for sure!

What a great place for a pint&pie! All walks of life represented. Great beer and ever nicer pies. Helpful and friendly staff. Place to be if this is what you look for. Big advantage was lack of loud Americans

Came here a few times during our visit to bath. Mostly for beer but we also tried our first meat pies. Everything was great. We found the beer to be priced lower than the pubs near the main attractions. It seems to be frequented by the locals also. Everyone is very nice. It's a big place. No trouble getting in.

This was a return visit to The Raven, the last visit was 8 years ago, when I was amazed by the pies. They were just as good this time, we went for fully loaded with mash and a large portion of mixed vegetables. The meal was sublime, not to be beaten in my opinion. My only gripe was the guy behind the bar was a bit grumpy and made a point that we would want the only table that he had to clear. We wanted that table because it was the only free table big enough to eat at. He also made a point of having to go to the other bar to get the beer my partner wanted. His lack of customer skills was made up for by the lovely person waiting on table, who deserved 5 stars all of their own.

We walked past this place and it didn’t look anything special, more like a standard pub until I saw a waiter bring out a pie dish. The plate looked amazing and delicious, so we decided to give it a go and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. The staff are friendly and helpful. This place does get busy, it is popular and it’s no surprise because if you love pie and Ale, this is the place to go.

Absolutely loved that there isn’t a Woke pompous PM insight. Great company within the pub too.

A pub in BATH, which retains the old British townscape. You order and pay at the counter, your drinks are handed to you at the counter, and your food is delivered to your table. The meat pie and sausage are said to be their specialties, so I thoroughly enjoyed them.

Never been but the landlord deserves a 5 star rating for objecting to the then Labour leader of the opposition entering for a photo opportunity having supported closing all pubs during Covid & wrecking the industry. When I am next down in Bath I’m going to ensure I go there & spend my money on food & drink & , if possible, shake you by the hand Sir! If Carlsberg made pubs/publicans they’d all be as good as this. 👏🏻😎

The pub style food and atmosphere we were looking for! After a long day trip to Bath, this was the perfect place to rest up, have a drink and a warm meal before heading back to London on the train.

A delicious restaurant and pub located in a lane of Bath... Beef pie is delicious😋⋯⋯ Pair it with special sauce to make the pie even more delicious👍🏻 I have visited 3 times😋😋 They have freshly squeezed beer🍻. Various drinks 🍸. 🥤 There are many items. You can choose⋯⋯ Parking here is not very convenient. Better to park on the outside. Come and dine🍽️, you can enjoy delicious food as much as you want Overall. It’s a restaurant and restaurant you can visit again👍🏻

Holiday trip. Walking through this delightful town, we came across this place having been struck first by the exterior, very characteristic, but above all by the kindness of the staff who welcomed us very well and served us some truly exquisite dishes. I highly recommend it if you happen to pass by these parts. Congratulations and thanks again!

Had the Raven Classic Stew with chips, absolutely smashing. Good quality food, large quantity at a reasonable price. Staff was great. Recommended for a good meal while visiting Bath.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Great Pie & chips! Lovely friendly place - in the heart of the city but just off the busiest streets. A superb range of beers & ciders. Family friendly although there is there is a child-free bar, so it suits everyone! Very caring about allergies.

We just loved it. If you come to Bath you have to try their "pies", cakes filled with meat stews accompanied with puree, vegetables and gravy. They have their own beers and the waiters are all very nice, highly recommended.

A wonderful place, the cherry on the cake after a lovely visit to Bath. Great staff, attentive, friendly, customer focused, and lovely beers! Nothing was too much trouble, only draw back, it's too far away to become my local! An absolute must if you're ever in the area!

Great pub; lovely atmosphere and cracking choice of beer. And dogs are welcome! Didn't eat so can't comment on the food but it looked good.

Landlord is a great man, someone that stands up to someone with double standards, wrongly categorises his people, the ones who chose him, which in turn caused chaos up and down the country. Get out of The Raven, get out of number 10, get out of politics completely.

Everywhere deserves a second chance, but no improvement here. Basic and tasteless.

We were there on our first day and we repeated the last night in Bath. Cold beers, good prices, fast and friendly service and great food: the "pies" were delicious, but the loaded ricotta and dried tomato ciabatta was worth a monument. We will return to Bath and return to the Raven!

A brilliant stop on our tour of Bath. A traditional English pub with a big selection of local and notionally brewed ales and Beverages. One of many brilliant pubs in Bath and would highly recommend.
