Fantastic find, friendly owners and staff. Very welcoming and make time to say hello and make you feel welcome. Food was amazing, this week husband has had 3 visits to Asian food places and this was the best! A lovely place.to spend our 35th wedding anniversary.

The food was delicious, there were limited options in the main course, little expensive .

such a lovely little restaurant. good quality was amazing and the service was extremely fast. the pricing was more than reasonable and the employees were upbeat and amicable. overall a very nice atmosphere, would 100% come again!

My wife and I dined there on Sept 15th. Enjoyable taste of Indian street food and great service. Great location and easy to walk to.

Small portions and the hyderabad Biriyani was not fresh. But the starters were good. Service was good.

Probably the best Indian I’ve had and I’ve been to India. Prateek was amazing and spent a lot of time chatting to us. He even gave us his chai recipe which was the best chai I’ve ever had. Ask him to recommend some dishes and he will fix you up.

The waiter was very kind, calm, and gave great recommendations. The pani puri started our night off with an intricately balanced blend of crunch, spice, sweet, and sour. The mains warmed the soul, and the mango ice cream was unexpectedly delicious. I would recommend anyone with heart.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, and very friendly service. The server/ cool gave us recommendations on how much to order, and it was perfect! The server Even noticed I was having trouble with the spice, and he offered me some yoghurt. Even the mango ice cream we finished with was surprisingly so tasty. Highly recommend you give this place a try.

All I’m saying, is get that crispy lamb!! Dreaming about it as I type, the food here is wonderful and the service is spot on. Deffo check out, halal options available :)

Absolutely delicious food and well priced which means you can order a good variety without breaking the bank. We ordered starters and mains to come at the same time so we ended up with a banquet which is what I would recommend doing. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. We've tried several chain indian street food places and have really enjoyed them but this was much, much better. Only slight criticism is the naan which tasted fine but wasn't the light, bubby, charred, fluffy naans that we're used to, naan was OK but everything else was A* perfect.

Me and my boyfriend visited this evening, it was quite quiet, and for some of our visit we were the only ones in there, but the staff were super lovely, chatty and helpful, at it was well decorated. The pani puri was delicious - I had been wanting to try this dish for a while now and it did not disappoint. It was super flavourful and fun and fairly priced too. We shared too curries, which we were able to customise our spice level, the medium spicy definitely had a kick, but was so so delicious and the portion sizes were perfect for me. We got the butter chicken and dhaba murg as well as some rice and garlic naan. I feel like there could’ve been a bit more garlic naan for the price but with all the dishes we shared it was still good. On the plus side too we also received a student discount, so we will definitely be returning here as it was quite student friendly. It’s a bit of a shame it was so quiet there, it needs some more recognition!! Thanks to the lovely servers and chefs :))

Very tasty starters and authentic Indian street food. Loved the Crispy Lamb, Chicken 65, Paapdi Chat and Pani Puri. Price is easy on Wallet too. Liked the decor and service was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend the place.

Foos is worst ever i taste in uk , u can see water in the gravey in restaurent there is no chapati and roti or naan only smal portion of rice not for and adult When i ask to soeak to the manager or owner they guy on the counter is very rude and harsh and abusing and syaing levae the permises and use unprofessional words cany write here Very bad Even i paid 19£ and chaier saying i went there to eat with out money I will not recomend anyone for this restaurent

We ate here on a quiet Sunday night and it was amazing! Some of the best Indian we’ve ever had (Including the food we had when visiting India). Prateek was an awesome host who made great conversation and chai tea. He also made suggestions for us from the menu and every single dish was incredible. Just wish we hadn’t found this place on our last night in Bath. We’d be back for sure. Prices were great too.

Physical for the first time the service was amazing. The guy seven was so friendly we had two starters the pier 65 at a fried chicken And two mains. All the food was amazing

Lovely little restaurant just off the Main Street. Food was sooo tasty and service second to none. Dishes were not your usual ‘tikka or madras’ so each meal was described and explained. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Thank you! 😋

BEST INDIAN FOOD I have eaten anywhere!! Arrived yesterday in Bath, while walking to hotel smelled this wonderful aroma. After checking in, went to Maaya and ate. We had the owner make suggestions and from the starters, to the street food, to desert, to his homemade chai tea, it was superb.

Just had worst food. Naan bread was like cardboard. Bryani was not actually briyani. It was like boiled rice with some briyani seasoning. Dry chilli chicken thing was re fried and was definitely 3 days old . Chicken curry was microwaved

Diet coke with a very strange taste. Murgh korma tasty but lukewarm. Garlic naan was plain with garlic squeezed out of it, not in it. Toilets with sticky floor and dirt.

Prateek made us feel right at home! His chai was to die for, especially on a cold and rainy day. We got samosas and onion bhaji, both were amazing! Would definitely recommend.

The food, ambience and the chai all were outstanding. We eat Indian food on regular basis and this place is one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in the UK. Prateek is such an amazing host.

Whilst our family trip to Bath, we had dinner at Maaya's and it was a beautiful experience. The food was very delicious and also the atmosphere. Prateek was very helpful throughout and suggested us Chef's special dishes. We will definitely come back.

My girlfriend and I went today on a whim and it was absolutely amazing. Our server Prateek was fantastic and the food was incredible. We will definitely be coming back!

Stumbled across this place when I saw advert for street food (full menu was available). Was a real treat, never having had the paani puri before. Break the balls with your thumb and fill with chickpea mix etc. Lovely! Samosa was excellent too.

Quite likely the most authentic interesting and tasty Indian cuisine I’ve tasted. A hint for you. Paani Puri… schezwan cauliflower… Kashmiri lang rogan josh… jeera (cumin) rice. Mind blowing.

Very friendly and attentive customer service. Constantly checked in that all was well. Chicken biryani was ok, though not probably a tad but too mild for my liking. I probably should have asked for spicier as I'm Indo-Caribbean and we're used to spicy..

Our group had a great time and really enjoyed our meal. We came straight from the road. The ambience was cosy and welcoming, the owner very friendly and accommodating. Given our size, we went through most of the menu - everything was great - cauliflower, all chicken dishes, palaks, rice - just perfect. Great experience to start our stay in Bath.

We had an excellent experience here. On an extended visit from Australia we’ve tried multiple Indian restaurants, but this was easily the best (and we love our Indian food!). Really delicately spiced, lovely flavours, and excellent service. Highly, highly recommended.

We enjoyed a very, very nice meal. The fries, prawns, chilli paneer and dessert were fantastic. We can highly recommend the restaurant. The prices were also absolutely reasonable. Mr. Abhishek's service was professional and friendly. We will definitely come back at the next opportunity.

Ordered a take away for pick up with full order. Went to pick it up and they said ‘they hadn’t received anything as the boss had t told them about the order’ - their excuse… nothing ready. We left and will never go back!

Server was friendly the minute we walked in the door - different than any other place we've experienced in Bath! The food (hakka noodles, butter chicken, & Thai green curry, spring rolls) was amazing. Music was just right for a fun but not "disco" mood. Definitely would recommend checking it out!

Superb hakka food and service that with a few tweaks to the restaurant itself could be 5 stars! We all loved the food but the restaurant was too bright, and the toilets have seen better days, but the food was insanely good! They even offered us a Chefs Special to try for free, which was so good that we ordered more! The Chilli Chicken was also especially excellent. The only disappointment were the Messy Fries which were much drier than expected, maybe we were given the wrong dish there. We were expecting something more akin to Hakka classic, Kung Pao Potato which hopefully they will add to the menu in future, along with my other Hakka favourite, Tai Pai Chicken or Paneer. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy something different from a standard Indian. They could even lose the odd Thai and Japanese dish on the menu which felt like fillers to try and get people through the door, when often having a mixed culture menu can often have the opposite effect. The Hakka is the main event, so Maaya should just lean in more on that. Hope they are a Bath fixture for a long time

Service by Malvika was great, could have done with someone helping her. Restaurant could have done with some music, however the food was good.

Been here twice for food as it’s always delicious. Service needed some improvement as they were very short staffed but Malvika was very friendly and accommodating with spice level. Atmosphere could be improved with music and candles.

Most unique and appealing new food in Bath. Spice and cocktails which are the best combination I have ever found. Give a try folks it’s something really different than any other food not only in Bath it’s the unique combo in whole Uk.

Ordered from here tonight and had the same experience as others have mentioned. Waited an hour and a half and still hadn't received the order, was told it was with the driver but it never showed up, further calls to the restaurant were ignored/not answered. Best to avoid if you don't want to be left in the lurch and out of pocket.

Went here 2 weeks ago. Please don't buy from here!! Honestly some of the most disgusting, cold food I've ever eaten. The person who cooked it evidently had no idea what they were doing. They're relatively new to Bath - please, let's put them out of business before many others have to go through this same awful experience. VILE

Terrible! Waited 30 minutes after order only to be told they have no food. Never in my life! Horrible!

We went there with my mom mainly because it was close to our hotel and we love Indian food. It was a calm place, which is important to me. The server was very welcoming. The food was great, especially the fried rice. Maybe a bit spicy for us but we have a small tolerance to spices. Back in Switzerland, where we’re from, Indian food is usually less spicy. Thank you for having us. We recommend this place ! :)

Food was due an hour ago, was told 45 mins ago it was with the driver. Restaurant now not answering our calls. Ordered over £100 worth of food. Will be expecting a refund.
