The website was very difficult to book adults and children in the booking so we just booked it as places. They told us that they could not do children’s afternoon tea so we had to have full price afternoon tea for the children at a discount, which wasn’t a great deal, not very friendly not very accommodating. It was too much trouble for them .

A beautiful afternoon spent at Sweet Little Things for our daughter's birthday. Fantastic service and tasty afternoon teas for us all. Such a pretty place to go for any occasion. Very accommodating, allowing us to bring a few decorations to make our daughter's treat memorable. Thankyou

Just had a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate my 60th birthday - we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious home-made cakes, sausage rolls and scones - I would definitely recommend Sweet Little Things for a special occasion or coffee and a cake

Yes the cafe and decor is pretty but sadly the customer service was absolutely awful. Not helpful, very blunt and rude, and responded in very sarcastic tones. We were new to the cafe and were asking questions and the responses made it feel like we shouldn't have bothered. Hopefully this a along with the other reviews will encourage staff to improve on their customer service skills.

We visited this cute little cafe on our last day in Bath. As the cafe doesn’t open until 10:30 I had purchased a coffee from elsewhere. We planned to eat breakfast at the cafe and I was the only one with a coffee from elsewhere. A member of staff immediately asked me not not to consume outside goods inside the cafe. I appreciate this can often be the case but was surprised given we were ordering three full breakfasts from there and had waited to do that. My friend who is vegan ordered the vegan pancakes and unfortunately we had to send these back as they were tough and so difficult to cut through and chew. The feedback was well received from staff and they did not charge us for these. The cafe is beautiful with a variety of options on the menu but I think overall the service could be much better. I attended a baby shower here which included afternoon tea, I want to start with some positives the building is beautiful and is decorated lovely, very instagrammable & the patisserie cakes look really pretty! But we experienced quite a few negatives during our time here, we were changed last minute from their other cafe to this one, the room was small and as a group of 24 we were very crammed in. The staff weren't overly great on the customer service front slightly rude in how they addressed customers, but i can understand that they were under pressure on this particular day with our group and other customers, definitely over booked and took on more than they could successfully manage. We also were not allowed in to set up ready for guests to arrive and were told to wait outside until our allotted time. Staff very much made their problems our problems with staff flapping and making comments but not actually doing anything, which led members of our group to clear tables and also remove 3 tables which we were actually using, as staff required them for another group booking... It was all very odd. There had not been a get out time communicated to us prior to our booking and we were very much made to feel that we were unwanted after a certain time. On the food front the sandwiches were stale from being made a lengthy time before our afternoon tea & the scones were undercooked. Staff were also not attentive with repeat drinks orders, so actually lost out on custom in this respect. To end on a positive note though staff were apologetic regarding our experience, gave us free prosecco and took money off our bill so i can not fault this. Maybe a one off experience for us but i probably wouldn't recommend or go back, but others may have a totally different experience.

This is a cute picturesque locations. Great for photos if you like that. Coffee sucks to me. Dessert was a lil dry and felt a bit stale. At least it was pretty. Last year was a much better experience. I would recommend everyone to visit and form your own opinions. Really does have cute treats.

We had a fantastic time and our waitress Kayesha was amazing. Food was delicious and Prosecco was free flowing.

We came to Sweet Little Things on Saturday 9th December for a baby shower for 7 people. We had the most incredible time! The communication over email for booking was brilliant and I couldn’t fault how accommodating they are. Our train was delayed by 1.5 hours due to signal problems and SLT were amazing and let us arrive late. The afternoon tea was really nice and great value for money. Our waiter (I think his name was Will) looked after us and was really attentive. I would highly recommend!

Ordered a caramel coffee, a black forest hot chocolate and 2 cakes, it took about 30 minutes probably longer to get receive, yes it was slightly busy upon first ordering but then when I went to enquire about it, the counter area was empty but still took longer than expected. The hot chocolate that is pictured with cream and black forest bits didn't have anything like that on it, there wasn't even a trace that cream had been put on it (lid was clean). The cakes although nice, fell apart, the coffee was revolting despite having syrup and 6 sugars in it (it should have been overly sweet) but no, I had a couple of sips from it and ended up throwing it away and ended up buying another at a Bistro further up the road, which was much better. No offer of a refund for the long wait or anything.

Myself, my mum and my mother in-law came today for afternoon tea. I called last week to double check my booking. It was then I was told that the sandwich selection would be the festive ones, I asked if there was anyway to have the old fillings as when I booked, the festive selection hadn’t gone live, I was told yes and that a note would be put on my booking and also a note to advise to substitute the soft cheese fillings for myself. I was messaged at 12:06(my booking was at 1pm) to be told I now couldn’t have the original fillings. We arrived, seated and told about the sandwich fillings. Luckily my mum and mother in-law didn’t mind. Although it felt somewhat disappointing to be told one thing then last minute another.. price wise felt a little high for what was received, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves as this was a first visit for all three of us

I have been to SLT several times and have always been happy with the quality and I still am. What really let it down was the hygiene, the first thing I noticed was how dirty the chairs were, cake crumbs all over the chairs which wouldn’t have been hard to hoover or brush out but clearly wasn’t bothered with. Secondly was the state of the floor, I then went down stairs to the toilet and the stairs and all of the floors were filthy. It looked like it had never been washed as the dirt looked set in. The toilets weren’t much better. The food and service was good which is why you have 3 stars else it would have been a 1 star from the hygiene aspect. I have worked and ran many salons and I would regularly clean and wash the floors and I’m not serving food in a salon so I expect a place with food to be of a much better standard. All I think is if that is what it’s like what the customer sees imagine what the kitchen is like (what we don’t see). I probably won’t be booking again which is such a shame, I would much rather walk in off the street and see how clean it is before making that decision.

We got 2 herbal teas and 2 cupcakes. We got one cup of tea each for £2.90. The table next to us got a whole teapot for the same price. The place was aesthetically pleasing, I visited Bath for 3 days and on my last day there I tried this shop, for an afternoon tea, as I was tired strolling around the town. There I was, resting and I tried their biscoff cupcake and a pot of tea. It was a nice experience, they just seemed a bit lack of staff, there were only 2 of them, and it was a bit busy, the other one felt like she was new. Other than that it was a good experience.

Amazing place to have some afternoon tea. We went for a choux bun which was incredible and we even saved a bit to have at the end, the sausage roll was amazing we went for the blue cheese one could have been a bit more cheesy but was very nice, the s’mores cookie was incredible almost fudgy it was so dense. Honestly I’m so appalled that I’m even having to write this but it was just that bad. I bought 1 lemon and lavender cupcake, honeycomb choux bun, one o&c macaron and one pistachio. When I say dreadful! I don’t know what has happened over the last year or months but it was horrid. The cupcake was so dry and stiff with no flavour at all just tasted like flour. The cake itself wasn’t even sweet it just tasted like cornbread, I had to ask myself if it was GF. Tasted that bad. The choux was so sweet and the crème and caramel inside tasted almost static and had a very burnt aftertaste, again in the bin. The only decent thing was the macarons but they had no flavour whatsoever. Literally just air! I’m so upset I wasted money as I was looking forward to eating this as a pick me up but honestly awful. As a baker myself I’m shocked at the quality of these.

I took my daughter for a treat shortly after opening on a Saturday morning. We weren’t greeted by staff, chairs were still up on tables, hardly any cakes etc out on display yet. We finally had a frosty reception from the lady serving and placed our order, to then be told it was not possible to pay by cash as they didn’t have correct change, so I duly paid on card. My daughters cake and drink arrived first, with a significant delay to my drink (which arrived lukewarm), meaning she had finished before mine even arrived. There was no one else in the shop so not sure why there was a delay. All in all a very average experience for the price paid. It might make sense not to open your doors to the public if you are not ready to serve them!

We've just been for bottomless brunch, the service and food was good but as a place for bottomless brunch, it is not ideal. Most people are having are having the cake and tea experience, groups having bottomless brunch will definitely get louder as the prosecco flows, so not ideal. In retrospect, I would ask for a table downstairs so you you do not interrupt the cosy tea experience.

Had a wonderful caramel macchiato with a triple chocolate chip cookie (which was to die for!!) today. The two young women who served me did so with huge, welcoming, enthusiasm and with a genuine smile. It was my first visit to Bath in about 20 years today, however I do have intentions of coming back soon; I will definitely revisit this little gem.

Nice looking place for your Instagram feed. Quite slow service - it was a busy Sunday mind Lots of our food (brunch) came either cold or not really as we expected it - the majority of our party left food behind. Staff seemed quite stressed and it was not a very welcoming atmosphere. We were sat down stairs, whenever the toilet door opened it released an unpleasant smell into a room of people eating without any windows. Hopefully the sweet treats are better.

I would agree with other reviews here. You can’t fault the atmosphere of the cafe, very cute set up. But the service was a little scattered, and the afternoon tea menu was subpar. The sandwiches were cut unevenly so one was tiny compared to the other, you could tell they had been made in the morning as they were dry (I would recommend the damp paper towel in the fridge technique to help retain the moisture), the brownie and sponge were also dry. The scone was very nice and fresh though. I don’t think we would go again for the price but enjoyed the decor of the cafe. I think that’s what you must be paying for. It’s not the quality of the food.

Beautiful cafe in a lovely location with a great selection of drinks and pastries. There are no duds here but the choux pastries are unbelievable - light, sweet, fluffy and delicious. They deliver too, but only in the Bath immediate area.

Disappointing experience. We went for a hen do and preordered food...the server read back our pre order which included two smashed avocados. All our food was brought out, but the smashed avocado meals were not there and had been changed to avocado eggs benedict. The server said its basically the same and its what they had on the system...even though its different to what we confirmed. She didn't seem very willing to change the meals at all and we just got a glare instead. We ordered drinks, a mixture of cocktails, soft drinks, tea and coffee...which we received after the meal was over and after we asked for them. Drinks were not what they should have been, tasted like the boxed cocktails and when they charge £10.50 per cocktail you want a decent drink. To top it off I ordered pancakes and they burnt one and decided to cover it with the other pancake. Decor is lush. Food, drinks and atmosphere kinda sucked and were really disappointing.
