Nice little café on the corner of two quiet streets

Lovely cafe in Bath. I ordered the berry pancake stack- they were the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had put. My partner had the Huevos rancheros which was equally delicious. Staff were also really friendly and kind. 10/10 would recommend!

Whilst the service was okay, I really struggle to understand the hype. The food is very small in portion size, overpriced and average at best. It is extremely cramped and offers very little comfort. Would I return? Probably not as there are better options.

I visited Wild Café this weekend and ordered the chorizo Benedict, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The portion size was disappointingly small, and the quality didn’t feel any better than something you could put together at home with supermarket basics. At £33 for two tiny breakfasts and two lattes, it simply wasn’t worth the price. Having been a customer when they originally opened, I’ve noticed a clear decline in both value for money and overall quality. Sadly over hyped now.

The waitress accidentally spilt some coffee my wife and was really apologetic and cleaned it up right away. The owner then came over and said our whole bill was free. My wife went over and at least tried to pay for the coffees but they were adamant we were to pay nothing. They really did not need to do that for something that was a complete accident! But to top it all off the breakfast was sooo good!! We are so glad we stumbled upon this lovely little cafe.

Precioso brunch. Gran pequeño café (tuvimos la suerte de coger a alguien saliendo) - decoración peculiar. Ambos desayunaron salvajemente y siempre me encanta un halloumi con una fritura tan genial verlo ya allí! No un comedor de huevos así que cambió huevo escalfado por aguacate para mí. Todo bien cocido y una gran clara plana (difícil de encontrar en estos días siempre es demasiado lechoso / grande). Las tortitas se veían muy bien siendo entregados a nuestro alrededor. Es casual y no muy rápido, así que no vengas aquí si eso no te conviene.

A cozy cafe with a menu catering to all tastes, this cafe offered us a delicious and filling breakfast for a very good price. The portions were filling, clean and aesthetically pleasing!

Estaba bien - estábamos sentados rápidamente, pero la comida tardó unos 25 minutos en llegar, esto probablemente fue porque había un chef para todo el restaurante! Las porciones eran pequeñas y caras (los precios del sitio web eran muy anticuados - todo era el doble de lo que esperábamos) . La comida era agradable, pero probablemente no volveríamos ya que hay lugares mucho mejores para comer en Bath.

Food was underwhelming and way overpriced for what you get. Service was slow although staff were friendly. Drinks were nice. Probably wouldn't go back.

Definitively solves the question of Bath’s best full English breakfast… Purist delivery with elevated ingredient quality. Current 4.2 rating is out of kilter, would have pegged it at 4.7-4.8!

Really lovely cafe. Had the most amazing pancakes! Welcoming staff and quick service. Funky decor. Just got information the toilet is pretty inaccessible if you have any physical disabilities/difficulties as it's down some tricky stairs and you have to duck under a low beam.

Pequeño café / restaurante con una encantadora selección de platos de desayuno / almuerzo. Huevos Royale, burbuja y chirrido con un huevo y salchicha y banana y tortitas de chocolate eran todos encantadores. El servicio fue rápido y amable. Los asientos son un poco limitados, pero luego es un lugar pequeño. Un par de mesas largas pueden acomodar hasta ocho, pero prepárate para sentirte cómodo con extraños si hay algunos grupos. Un punto a tener en cuenta - el menú del sitio web parece tener precios de hace unos años. Los precios son ahora alrededor de un 30 % más altos que los mostrados en el menú en línea.

Visited for the first time today and the atmosphere is cosy and lively, but sadly the staff weren’t the most welcoming and we would rate the customer service pretty poor. They seemed to want to rush us through and were irritated when we wanted a couple more mins to decide. It was busy though, so as someone who has worked in hospitality, can understand being busy. However the food was the nail in the coffin and will be the main reason we won’t return. The eggs on the Benedict were overcooked, with a dribble of hollindaise sauce. And the bubble and squeak was just flavourless mash with an egg on top. Not sure if we just caught a bad day but sadly it was enough to make us not want to go back.

Went in 9am to grab some breakfast with family before our 10am tour. But their cook didn’t turn up … a big let down

Might be one of the worst breakfasts I've had. The full English only came with one of each item, which for £17 I thought was a bit steep (hash browns were extra). The lean back bacon was un-cutable, leading to us snapping it rather than using cutlery. Coffee was okay.

Yummy cosy place . Toilet was in a need of a good clean and reno but otherwise lovely .

El lugar estaba lleno de mesas sin despejar. La persona en la caja estaba rechazando a los clientes diciendo que estaba por su cuenta y no podía sentar a la gente en este momento. Ella estaba recomendando otros lugares para ir. Ojalá no hubiera pedido el desayuno salvaje ya que la salchicha estaba seca, los hongos eran tan grasos que no eran comestibles. El pan de masa madre anunciado no era masa madre y estaba emplastado con margarina de color muy blanco. El tocino servido era del tamaño de una pieza de 10 p. y era duro como una roca. Nunca he tenido un desayuno tan impactante. ¡Nunca más!

I love this place. Very friendly and great food. One of my favourites places for brunch. Wild is efficiently run and has a very relaxed atmosphere. I think the focus on simple food using quality ingredients has paid off well.

I know this place is amazing because I used to go a lot, but have tried to go 4 times in the last 2 months and each time there was a different reason for why they weren’t serving food or closed hours early. Could be a coincidence and keep catching them on a bad day but it is very disappointing and won’t be trying again.

The reason I am giving this 1 star is not because the table was dirty or the cup I got for my tea was dirty, it's because they refused to take cash. It's dirty & cashless.

The store is very bright and the staff are kind. Both the coffee and meal were delicious!

Loved it! If you like excellent, fresh food, cooked with care and attention, then this is definitely for you. The service was great, we didn't wait long and all at a very reasonable price. I commend it to anyone unless you don't like real food or need serving in under 2 minutes.

I have always been curious about this café and was pleasantly surprised by visit. The atmosphere is very different from other places. It's quaint, slightly bohemian and charming. A bit like a café version of the Bell on Walcot Street. I was impressed with the friendly service (Maddie & Siena) and very tasty dish of garlic mushrooms and spinach on toast.

Family staying in UK for 2 weeks. This was the best English breakfast we had, Full English, Egg Benedict, Strawberry Pancake. Must vist!

What a great little cafe & spot for brunch. Exploring Bath for the day and the perfect place to start with Bubble & Squeak, orange juice and a flat white. What doesn’t look like a large portion it was just right, sets us up for the day nicely!

Excellent breakfast. Cosy atmosphere. Kind waitresses and cooks. The food is obviously delicious. One can sit outside if they prefer a street vibe. We sat at the window next to the door and enjoyed a fresh breeze of air. Overall, highly recommend.

Best take on an Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Bacon’s Benedict, you won’t be disappointed. Reasonably priced and great service too. My girlfriend was very pleased with her full English. Sorted our hangover out completely.

Delicious low carb breakfast and fresh coffee. Rough and ready seating, urban style, loud music and busy trades people in café early morning if you don't mind that. Well worth the visit for the food. Opens 8am so a great alternative to expensive hotel breakfasts

Waited almost 1 hour to get our food and they didn’t warn Ilya in advance. Tables outside are wobbly and dirty, food is very small quantities. This cafe used to be so much better during lockdown, they ruined it…

This café is a great little find. The staff are efficient but kind and unhurried. Enjoy your food even if the bath pavements are a little uneven! I've been here many times, and came with a friend recently who said they were definitely return themselves.

Delicious Eggs Benedict! Nice to sit outside when the weather is warm

In a city where a lot of chain restaurants are dominant, this is a great find.

It was absolutely horrible. We drove specifically to this cafe because it seemed amazing. We sat down at around 11:10 AM and ordered two pancakes at 11:15 AM. We waited until 11:36 AM, when the waitress came and told us that one pancake could be ready soon, but they would still need 7 more minutes to prepare the other one. We said that was fine. However, after waiting an additional 10 minutes, there was still no food on our table. The waitress came over again and said the food was coming soon. I pointed out that it had been 40 minutes for two pancakes, which was longer than she had mentioned. Eventually, we didn’t even receive a simple apology, just a dismissive remark: 'I told you it would be a bit of a wait,' which she only mentioned after we had already been waiting for 20 minutes. This is not acceptable. It’s just not worth going there and wasting our time. It's pricey too, especially for this kind of service and wait.

Cute little cafe with some (sweet or savoury) options for breakfast. They also had decaf coffee and vegan milk alternative (with reasonable surcharge). I really liked it there and I’ve never had such good Eggs Benedict before.

What a gorgeous little cafe. Popped in for breakfast, good range of options freshly cooked to order. Really lovely vibe. Chipotle beans and avocado was delicious! Super.

terrible reception, I waited for 20 minutes, 40 minutes for food to be ready (breakfast only), coffee was delivered quickly, when food arrived the coffee was already cold, terrible food (I found beard hair), I don't recommend to no one, I felt sick all day because of the questionable sausage, bad experience

The B&B owner recommended the coffee shop. The coffee and meals were average, nothing special. Bubble & Squeak’s mashed potatoes have a nice flavor.

Really nice service , the lady was really helpful , she recommended pancake for my son and I had full breakfast . My son loved it and mine was delicious . I will be back ☺️

Very bad experience, I never done any review in my life, and never leave without eating because we waited more than 40 minutes for 2 pancakes, I understand it can be busy sometimes I work in a busy restaurant, but for sure how the waitress talks to us was not the right way to manage a busy service she couldn’t just let us know straight away about the long waiting and a simple “sorry for the waiting” was more than fine, but the waitress after 30 minutes waiting she told us is gonna be 7 minutes. But after 7 minutes still not ready yet. We waited total more but after 45 minutes with no food, when I asked to the waitress about the food long waiting she just become bad attitude and talk back without any apologies.

I think Wild Cafe is a bit overrated. The breakfast I had was okay.. not the worst I've ever had, not the best. The atmosphere was nice - it is quaint and quite quirky, overall quite nice. The service was alright? It felt more like they wanted to be quite fast with everything to get you out to get more people in, maybe because they have no booking system but meant I didn't want to stay any longer to order more drinks etc. Just overall - not the best experience, not the worst. I would probably try some other breakfast places in Bath.

My friend and I planned to go here as we’ve seen their Instagram page and loved the look of the food & vibe. It was Saturday at 12 when we went here looking for a table and the server told us it would be a 20 minute wait and we could have a drink outside whilst we waited. So we did just that! However after waiting 40 minutes I checked with the same server and she said it would be another 10 minutes. I noticed that new people had been seated ahead of us and that we’d 100% been forgotten about. At this point we’d waited 50 minutes for a table. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes to be served, and my friend wanted the chicken pesto sandwich. The sever said she thought they were out of chicken so she went to check and proceeded to serve other people and begin making coffees. We couldn’t believe we’d been forgotten about AGAIN! My friend went to the till to follow up and a different server said we couldn’t order food as they were too busy. My friend mentioned we were in the middle of ordering and they let us order our food. The food arrived and it was fine, nothing special and the hollandaise sauce tasted like nothing. Overall we spent nearly 2 hours there waiting for service, absolutely ruined our day and we won’t be coming back again. Seriously disappointed as we love supporting small businesses but this took the cake. 😟

Tables are too small for the amount of items required to eat breakfast, uncomfortable the whole time . Ordered Bubble and squeak Nice texture , could of been hotter, not a nice sausage , extremely dry. Only one poached egg for a slab of bubble and squeak. Vegetarian breakfast Good sized portion. Haloumi cooked well . Beautiful poached eggs , artichokes slightly hard. Under seasoned avo toast . Recommended by another restaurant in bath to try for breakfast and overall slightly disappointed. Don't live local otherwise we would try again but wouldn't rush back

best breakfast i’ve had in a long time, i ordered the wild breakfast and it sent my taste buds wild with excitement, the food and coffee was amazing and the service was great, walked into a busy cafe but was greeted and seated straight away, absolutely beautiful decor inside. had the perfect start to my Sunday in bath will be making this my new go to for breakfast on a sunday.

Absolutely gorgeous breakfast and wonderful freshly made fruit juices- I had carrot and ginger, it was delicious. Well worth a visit! It’s small and you can’t book, but if you get there nice and early you’d likely get a spot. A very cosy and quirky little cafe ☺️

They don’t allow “swaps” for good reason! You won’t need any. Every dish I’ve had here has been absolutely perfect. The best beans I’ve ever had (Smokey chipotle beans and avocado bowl) and a great winter drinks menu. vegetarian friendly, lovely staff and a cute interior. Visit so you can join me in my huge crush on the long table seating, yummy sourdough and sweet staff.

coffee was nice but food was really disappointing. i had bubble and squeak. 1) was soggy and undercooked. 2) was so bland and boring, no seasoning whatsoever. 3) hollandaise sauce tasted of NOTHING.my partner had pancakes and bacon and was very average and didn’t have a lot of bacon. this place is very overrated and no one checked to see if our food was okay. would not recommend.

Unfortunately I have to give a one star ........in a nutshell food and service was good. But unfortunately people think it's OK to bring there pet's to breakfast......I don't what to eat with my dog let alone someone else dog ......

Went here this morning with my girlfriend. The cafe is lovely and cosy with nice decor. The food was delicious and they had GF bread.

Top breakfast! Ate here this morning after a romantic break in Bath and it did not disappoint. We eat out a lot and appreciate good food. The food was spot on and I only have positives to say about the food. Sometimes a cooked breakfast is not adequate enough to fill me for the day when it is good quality but this was quality and plenty of it. We were pleasantly surprised. Not the warmest of welcomes if I am totally honest but otherwise a nice little place

I walked past on my way to another cafe, it looked so nice from the outside I couldn’t resist an in I went. The food was fabulous and the cherry hot chocolate was so scrummy..

My wife and I recently visited Wild Caffe, and our experience was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we stepped in, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sweet scent of delectable cakes set the perfect tone for a delightful morning. The ambiance at Wild Caffe is simply enchanting. The cozy and warm atmosphere made us feel right at home, providing the ideal setting for a relaxing and enjoyable time. The staff at Wild Caffe deserves special commendation for their exceptional service. They were not only attentive and friendly but also went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment.

On their website the owners say they are, “Proud of the food they serve”. I have to ask, when did they actually take note of all the reviews from those actually eating there? The vast majority are saying how poor the food is and yet month after month clearly no cafe audit is done and no one reads reviews to bring about change. If you don’t mind wasting money then go but the food quality is very poor and service is no better.

On entering I felt I had made a mistake, although it was quiet with only 2 other people in the place the welcome was non existent and the lady clearly was not interested, it made me feel like I shouldn't have entered and I chose not to get anything to eat as a result. There are plenty of places locally offering great service and food and that's where I will head in future. I thought this place looked interesting but I shall not return

My first impression upon arrival wasn't the warmest. While others were greeted with smiles and a welcoming atmosphere, a simple "hi" from the woman in white (perhaps she was having a tough day) felt a bit cold. This initial chill extended to the overpriced food. My mocha, though masked by sugar, suffered from an overextracted coffee shot, and the eggs Benedict were sadly uninspired. However, the service wasn't entirely a lost cause. A new staff member, I believe, made a wonderful impression with their friendly and attentive demeanor towards myself and other guests. This warmer interaction significantly improved the overall experience. Therefore, while I can appreciate the friendly service from the new staff member, the initial coldness and overpriced, unimpressive food leave me with only 3 stars.

The food was really nice, although the waitress we had didn’t make us feel very welcome. Staff service felt very selective, with other customers getting a far nicer welcome and service than us. When you pay a fair amount for food, the service you receive should replicate the price you pay for the food.

Great brunch menu. During busy time wait it may take time for food to be served. However food is worth the wait!

Nice relaxed brunch in a great location in city centre.

We came here on a whim for breakfast to escape the crowd at Bath city centre and it was the best decision we've made that day. It's small yet cosy. It can also be very busy (judging from the queue that had formed by the time we left) so get there early. My husband and I unanimously decided to try their Wild Breakfast and never regretted that decision. Flavourful, filling and satisfying on a rainy, windy morning! We could tell they use quality ingredients. I loved how the bacon and black pudding were properly cooked, and the sausage was very meaty. I don't usually enjoy halloumi but this one was an exception -- it was very tasty! The beans were great too! Even the mushroom was memorable. This is probably one of the best English breakfasts I've had so far. Well done! And the staff are lovely and accommodating, one of the reasons why I gave it 5 stars. Highly recommended.

We didn’t feel welcomed there, unfortunately. It took a while to get the table for breakfast in November. Although there were two table available and they were not super busy, we (alongside other couples) had to wait outside for about 20 min while they were cleaning it, as per the staff request. Must be a typical approach for a summer season, but felt really strange when it was not a super busy summer time and cold outside. Staff was not trying to be nice, and that didn’t make the experience any better. The food was fine although a bit overpriced

Visited whilst the Christmas market was on, so was very busy! Had to wait outside for a few mins whilst someone finished and left. The place is very small so the seating is a little odd, sitting at window seats, but it’s quite cosy and we like people watching. We’d asked if we could swap sausage for bacon and ham for bacon on two brunch items, we were told they do not do swaps and we’d have to buy additional items. The coffee and hot chocolate was absolutely delicious, and the food that did arrive was absolutely lovely. I would recommend to go.
