Always a friendly welcome. The staff are cheerful. Very clean restaurant and an absolute pleasure to spend time there.

Always nice to pop in great staff most of the time. Love ranges on offer. They need to services blue light discount.

Really friendly service and good drinks. I’d asked to sit in and was given a takeaway cup though. It’s great that they have power sockets to plug in chargers etc, and lots of seating available, though felt a little cramped due to this as it was a busy Saturday afternoon. I stayed a while and studied/read/journaled with headphones in. Enjoying my coconut latte a lot, and a caramel wafer

Only go here when it's quiet. Staff are excellent every time. Only shame is the stupid prices of some things, but not something to blame staff for.

I go here occasionally to meet a friend for coffee. There is a good selection of drinks here. You can get hot panninis and toasted sandwiches as well as cakes and biscuits.

Half filled luke-warm hot chocolate would have been a better description

I love this place its one of the best coffee shops in Midsomer Norton. Staff are brilliant and friendly that get to know there customers.

Love their latte and cheese and ham toastie. The place is often overcrowded though and the service can be a bit slow at times

I came in the other day as a regular and the staff member who served me remembered my order..skinny caramel cortado..they're polite, helpful and provide good costa service, the area could do with more larger retailers in the high street.

Unfortunately, the coffee is not the best. The quality also varies depending on the employee. Americano very watery or very diluted with water.

All good as in any Costa, but service was a bit off... All 3 looked lost like not in their roles or not trained properly... But in the end coffee was good so no complaints

This is a Costa next to the Sainsbury's supermarket in Midsomer Norton. Totally fine for a coffee and a sit down. Friendly staff and good coffee.

Lovely place but too expensive for me

Expensive coffee and too strong ...and I like strong coffee! Why do they take your order and not warn you that they will be closing soon? This is the second time this has happened and I've only visited 3 times. Thought it was 5pm closing but it's 4pm on a Sunday! I like to spend time enjoying the peace and quiet not to be rushed. Also their tiny sachets of sugar are so hard for anyone with arthritis in their hands to open. I can't understand why they are so small but rammed full with sugar. No way to open without potentially spilling everywhere and hard on my hands too

It's just a space with tables in, not much of a coffee shop feel, could do with some dividers to break the space up, okay for a take away.

Dreadful service. Called in for a quick coffee on our journey to Leeds. Never used Costa before and if this is the service expected then will never use again. Walked in and saw a gentleman at the counter so stood behind him. 4 females behind the counter. 2 on the left and 2 on the right but close enough to chat. The two on the right were serving the gentleman at a very slow pace, whilst chatting, but in their defence I think one was training the other. Once the gentleman was served he moved away. I stood there waiting, with my friend, totally ignored, whilst they were chatting about who was only doing 3 hours etc!!!! Eventually one turned and asked what I had ordered. I replied ‘I haven’t cup of tea please. I was then Told I had to order first and Was then directed towards the two females who had been chatting away and totally ignoring us. Went to their counter. The one then went off to clear the tables and I asked the other for a tea. She took my money. Went on then to collect my tea and there was a tray, cup and saucer and milk! I said to the female ‘I want it to takeaway’ My goodness the look!!! The female who had taken my money then proceeded to ask other she was servicing ‘take out or inside’. Pity she hadn’t asked me that! Finally got my much needed tea but then was left wondering did I pay extra because was assumed I was drinking inside. During all this faff we were treated like it was all our fault and we should have known. All it would have taken was for the females too do their job, stop chatting and serve their customers like they are paid to do.

Tucked away between Sainsburys and the car park. Good size cafe, but a little tired looking... as were the staff! Usual Costa fayre.

Costa should make sure packaging clearly states ingredients and ensure that staff ensure staff should not cover labelling with discount stickers. After picking up what I thought was ham and cheese I now realise it was the vegan version with quorn ham! Im allergic to mycoprotein so have spent all night vomiting! Thank you costa!!

Overworked lady on drinks no food and at least half the customers came in maskless.

I've always liked Costa as a brand. It does exactly what it says on the proverbial tin. The staff here are friendly and I've visited with a friend twice in the last week. And now we have Omicron. So, a disappointment was the absence of up-front notices encouraging patrons to wear masks upon entry, staff not wearing masks; one, a male, who walked around the patrons' area without one and the same chap shut the main door during my first visit "because it was cold". We all have to take personal responsibility for our own safety, but I feel an example needs to be set by those in places which encourage gatherings of people where there is a scientifically proven risk of the disease spreading. Other shops manage to do this. A pity.

Well needed coffee! Costa is tucked away off the High Street so don't be shy to ask for directions if needed.

Midsummer norton staff need to know covid is still about and sanitize the tables will not be returning

Really busy today I felt for the staff but they were just as friendly as always..

Nice atmosphere but I don't like Costa coffee itself, especially their lattes which, for some strange reason they tend to offer in tall glasses which I've never understood. There are other cafes that are preferable imo

First time I have visited this Costa Coffee. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but was quite full by the time we left at 11am. Our coffee was lovely.

They're never open until the stated times and always close early. So you think you can get there before close, think again. They are very sporadic with their closing times. It could say 4pm on the door and they'll still be closed before that time. Not the best costa around, Bath costa is better. If closing time is 4pm, you don't close your doors until 4pm. They're also rude in there at times too.

Unless you want to be served by a rude blonde lady who doesn’t care about social distancing and allowing other customers to bump into you then come here!! I shall not be coming back again, after she tried to rush me through my order and backed up the two customers who were shoulder to shoulder with me. Disgusting.

Was not a good coffee today, very disappointed. I have always had a good if not a great coffee for you any were i go. But very disappointed this time, coffee was almost cold and taste was as if it was burnt. not your usual self. . Hope it will be better next time I call there. Pb

Serious lack of vegan options to eat here. Really good to see there are three non-dairy milk but nothing to eat :( Staff are lovely though and all set out well for social distancing.

I'm a costa addict and this one is by far my fave. Swift service, they never get my order wrong unlike other premises and they're very friendly staff. The toilets are always pristine clean with toilet roll and soap. The layout and cleanliness is great and overall I can't fault it. Oh and the manager is not creepy, he is fun and bubbly which is rare in this day and age.

The manager is very creepy and makes rude remarks.. a few people I know have complained about him before. Very strange behaviour. The younger staff are excellent but the older staff need more customer service training. Apart from that, I enjoy going here

I regularly use costa coffee as my loyalty card shows. Staff were not friendly it was 1630 but the shop gave the appearance of being shut. Staff basically threw the drinks on the counter as i had asked for proper cups. Staff stood and watched me until i left.

Cappuccino seemed like a double shot, so a bit to strong for me. Service was very good and the cakes also, cappuccino could have been hotter as it did get cold quicker than expected. Don't normally frequent this coffee chain, so I could have asked for hotter drink. Overall a good experience.

The Victoria Sandwich was the best I've had in a long time

Google Maps review policy seems to be a lot more basic than their search algorithms are. For the record I do not and will not submit reviews under the following circumstances: 1. Ripped off for children's drink. Charged 50p for teaspoon sized quantity of whipped cream.

Decided to pop in for a quick coffee on a busy day with a packed schedule Shop was very busy with a good mix of people and a nice buzz about the place. Service was efficient and coffee delicious with added bonus of daily paper to peruse. Would visit again....

nice atmosphere and nice staff but often shut half the place as early as half 3! also all cakes are stacked away into plastic boxes so you can't see it all. They only shut at 6 and stopping use of half the place and packing everything away so early makes you feel like you shouldn't be there and they want to go home

Love the coffee, the best there is, great choise of cakes and snacks. However, it is always such slow service (peek and off peek times), tables doesn't seem to get cleaned off regularly, toilets are very dirty not to say worse. It just seems that there is always that one person of staff missing, or maybe some routine changes need to be done. Overall, it is a lovely and comfy coffee shop to visit in Midsomer Norton.

They never run any of the Costa promotions that are always being emailed to customers! Always out of toast also!

Service with a smile, great coffee, the lad spilt his hot chocolate, it look a little too long to obtain serviettes, none on the condiments stand!
