The best restaurants in South West

Well worth a visit. Delicious food and excellent service.

Went for Christmas lunch. Very disappointing. It was served with carrots and sprouts already on the plate - no choice of vegetables at all. Christmas dinner without a parsnip?! Also the gravy was already on which some people don't want. The starter and dessert I'm pretty sure we're frozen multitasking. The profiterole cream filling had degraded into milky liquid at the bottom of the dish. The roast potatoes were good though. I may be wrong but I don't think anything other than them was fresh

Stopped in for a roast today, so impressed with the food and service. Unbeatable location too, we will be back!

Excellent food, reasonable prices. Felt guilty because I was unable to finish my platter despite being hungry. Dessert was amazing.

Both locals and tourists seem to frequent this local pub. It is reputed to be one of the country’s most haunted pubs. Nice menu selection, with various specials during the week. We had Hunters Chicken, with apple crumble, Fish & Chips from today’s catch, with sticky toffee pudding, and Steak & Ale pie made with Doom Bar. All excellent choices. They also have a nice selection of beers and ales.

Coffee is pods which is not very nice,we noticed a breakfast with cheap ingredients was hoping for better.

Visited here with my wife and another couple for a Sunday Roast. Absolutely perfect! The quality and quantity of the food amazing. No wonder it was so busy! Can’t wait to return!!

Not a big menu but was thoroughly enjoyed. Service a bit slow but only 2 managing customers. Staff pleasant and obliging. Would return.

Beautiful crisp chips. Wonderfully fresh fish. If, like me, you need gluten free they will cook your choice on the griddle, with no batter. Polite and friendly service.

Every year we visit Woolacombe at least once or twice, we absolutely love it here. Bar Electric is always the highlight of our trip, and gets better and better every year. Amazing food, great beer, incredible choice of spirits and soft drinks, and most importantly, always served with a smile and given such fantastic treatment from the team. We can’t wait to come back again soon. The piggy dirty fries, the hot dogs, halloumi fries, and burgers are all INCREDIBLE! Worthy every penny and we always leave with very full bellies! Amazing Open Mic nights, and beautiful views overlooking Woolacombe Beach, and Lundy on a clear day. Can’t beat it. Thank you so much Bar Electric. We love you!

What a let down so slow service got our order wrong 3 times.Told it was worth waiting for the best cream tea in Torquay!!!!! ,no way just bog standard tasteless scones.We didn’t return

Leykers is lovely. It is an independent cafe with friendly staff and good food and drinks. I often go here to meet friends.

Gorgeous cafe with excellent service and lovely food. We had a sausage sandwich and a cream tea. The portions were very generous and the scones were delicious. We highly recommend

Lovely café, serving very good restaurant-quality food. The people in the kitchen know what they're doing! One of our favourite places to eat in Swanage. Lunch is served 12pm until 3:30pm, can be worth eating a bit later to avoid the rush.
