This is truly a hidden Gem!! We've came twice for breakfast and have been so impressed!! The atmosphere taking you back to the 1940's is truly an expericence and the breakfast was genuinely the best we have had, anywhere! The two ladies than run it couldn't have been more lovely and inviting (even cooking a sausage for our dog and provided her with treats). We would come back time and time again and would recommend everyone does! If I could have gave it a million stars I would!!

We didn't know they served Sunday roasts and walked past and spotted their sign. Walked in and offered a table in the window. Plenty of choice of meats and the food was extremely tasty, well cooked with huge portions. They really should increase their prices as they are by far the lowest priced Sunday roast in Falmouth. We would happily have paid more given the amount of meat on the plate. Highly recommend - great food, really tasty. We will be back (dog friendly too).

What a lovely find! Just by pure chance walking past. We originally came in for a lunch. My husband had the breakfast where u could pick and choose what items and I had a quiche with salad. All made fresh to order and big plateful. Had to come back for the Sunday roast which was delicious. Can highly recommend the food and a lovely atmosphere, very friendly ☺️

Difficult to find seafood restaurant this time of year, walked to the location in afternoon to confirm open for dinner, no sign or any indication it will be closed after lunch service. Sign showed open for dinner 6-9 Followed sign and purchased own wine as they do not have alcohol for sale. Very disappointed to walk down only to find it closed!! Ended up taking taxi to ‘hooked on the rocks’ as we were set on seafood 2 stars as I don’t want the rating to take away from what could have been a tasty meal

We stumbled across this lovely little cafe totally by accident. It really is a hidden gem. Like stepping back in time it has a real feel of what I imagine a 1940s tearoom would be like. The food was excellent and the two ladies who own it were very friendly and informative when I asked lots of questions. We will definitely be back and will be visiting their seafood restaurant as well.

Excellent lobster and squid with the best local Fal oysters I have ever had. Love the bring your own wine policy. You can match a good bottle without breaking the bank. The service is relaxed (no bad thing) and friendly. Really great chips and nice salads. The only minor note was the steak, which we ordered rare, but it came well done. It's difficult with a thin steak. This is a small restaurant so tables are slightly squished together, but not uncomfortable. Fantastic quality at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Best meal we have ever had in Falmouth!! The food was outstanding! Service brilliant and just overall a wonderful evening. We had lobster and steak and it was the best fish we have had in a long time, we would recommend to anyone and cannot wait to visit again. So reasonable and great portions we all came away so satisfied. Don't hesitate in going, but definitely book. BYOB is also great and they provided all glasses and ice etc. Cannot rave enough

Two of us went for an all day breakfast. My companion was not allowed to have vegetarian sausages as she was having bacon, so we asked to have them with my otherwise vegetarian breakfast. When it arrived they were meat sausages. I didn't realise until I'd taken a bite - after 10 years without meat. Waitress was a delight, but the owner was unapologetic , unbelievably rude and blamed me for not explaining I was vegetarian. The filter coffee was cold and had obviously been sitting for hours. Refused to serve tap water. Avoid.

We were searching for something which wasn’t a big chain company. Hidden off the market square is this lovely 1940’s themed tearoom, with an attached vintage shop. We treated ourselves to a cream tea and it did not disappoint. Portion was spot on, and the tea was excellent I hate weak tea and this was gorgeous. All served in an old style tea service. The staff were very welcoming and inviting. Really nice.

Lovely staff. exceptional service. Helped us make memories, ate there twice. The steak was superb and the shellfish was exceptional, the lobster was a little dry but the table card games and the attention to customers made up for that. Exceptional seafood. The chef knows exactly what she is doing. Combine that with the freshest most sustainable fish choices and you are on to a winner. Dishes of note: oysters, langoustines, mussels, prawns, seabass. I wouldn't hesitate to order the lobster when in season because they know their stuff. Great with children- there may not be a kids menu but they will suggest options should you need. I mean, they let you bring your own wine, which with my family is a win in itself but seriously we are absolute foodies and this is a no brainer. But booking is essential.

Had a really lovely lunch on Saturday. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely and it had a great ambiance. I've marked it down a star purely on the price of a small lemonade, which at £4.20 feels a bit rich - especially when a small wine was £4.95. What happened to supporting designated drivers?!

After visiting my home county of Cornwall in Penzance, I wanted what all Cornish men yearn for a real Cornish pasty so I bought one from a shop that has been trading for 20/30 years and what I tasted was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever had (total rubbish) disgrace to all Cornish pasties, so the next day I went into the deli called the Cornish Hen and bought another pasty and wow it was the best I’ve ever had in Cornwall so I say to all you people who visit Penzance and want the best pasty going visit the Cornish Hen in Penzance you won’t be disappointed

Booked for a meal as it was one of only a few places that mentioned allergies on their menu (we have quite a few intolerences/allergies) And they coped amazingly! We are used to just one or two options but they managed to offer quite a few. And the food was delicious 😋 The staff were friendly and it was reassuring when one admitted they weren't confident in helping navigate the menu, but asked another who checked it all with the kitchen first. The atmosphere is also great with a well used bar to one side full of locals and a comfortable and modern yet cosy restaurant. Thouroughly recommend
