Fab coffee, and fab quality cakes, for all including vegan and gluten free. great fast service. Great venue. Reasonably priced. Super place for stop on walking the coast path. Or a day on the beach

Visited with my gf last minute, who is Cornish and knows the impact of visitors to this wonderful place. Even so, we knowingly arrived late, with a fair queue and busy kitchen, knowing everywhere else would be as busy ... after queuing and speaking with the server it was easy to appreciate the art of 'possible' and with compromise we left with cool drinks and takeaway Mexican wraps, the size of elephant trunks and watched the sea rolling from StIves to Godrevy.

Customers must order at an outside ordering point. The set-up looks like we are still in Covid measures with rigid plastic sheeting with small holes to talk through. Very odd. The menu is very limited and super expensive. £10 for a sandwich. For that price I would expect table service (you must collect your food from the serving hole next to where you ordered), nicely presented food with top end accessories. I was served a sandwich on a plate. That’s it. Not even napkins, even when we asked. We also had to ask for the table to be cleaned before we sat down. We did not get what we ordered. There used to be then a sign asking you to clear your own table! Suffice to say, we didn’t.

Service outside through a hatch. Limited menu. Very expensive. £10 a sandwich. I would expect table service and trimmings for this price. Just a sandwich on a plate. That I had to get myself. No service! Expected to clear your own table too! Didn’t even get the food we actually ordered. We even had to ask for our table to be cleaned. Floor had food everywhere. Didn’t even have any napkins. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Amazing cafe with amazing vegan cakes and hot chocolate/coffee, also the granola bowl was soo good and big it kept me going hiking all day until dinner!

We came for afternoon coffee and cake. I highly recommend the cheese scones and they are huge. The only thing I don't enjoy about coming here is that there is no table service. You have to queue, order, wait and then carry your order to your table. I preferred it when there was (albeit limited) table service. It gets very busy though so I understand why they have to focus on serving and preparing food.

Always had great food here over the years. However on this visit I ordered a coffee and banana loaf toasted. It took so long as three other people who ordered hot breakfasts were served food before me! My coffee was cold by the time it arrived. Poor service and this was backed up on my visit by the local. Come on guys, great place and great food but lacking on service.

Food was nice but quite a wait, I asked for a take away bap and a coffee. The coffee was done quickly but then there was a long wait for my bacon bap....walk back to my car and now my coffee was cold. Don't mind waiting for my order but I would suggest serving food and drinks at the same time ! I don't like cold coffee !!

Stopped for lunch, was the most delicious salad. Really satisfied My wife had the wrap and loved it.

This place used to be a great little cafe with proper service and popular with locals. We visited for breakfast and this will be the last time. It's expensive & food OK. There is an indoor area to sit and eat. To order you have to go outside into the wind and cold and queue at the take away line. Do they then bring your drinks and food up to the table? No. You have to wait around in the cold whilst they make them. We were told that food would be brought up 'if they had time' which of course they didn't, despite there only being two tables occupied. Person at the till was rude and downright lazy. Staff on coffee machines were much better. 90% of good reviews are from when this was a proper cafe. Now it's just an overpriced shed with covid take away measures still in place that allow for lazy service.

Unfortunately the cafe has lost its way, I feel it needs to go back to how things used to be and open its self up.Past couple of visits have been very disappointing 😢 Photo of last year’s breakfast, on the right what a difference. 28/05/24 My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast this morning,staff are always friendly and helpful.

Love this cafe. You give your order downstairs outside at the hatch. Then find a place to sit inside or outside. The food is very good. Homemade. Locally sourced. You have to pay for the car park if you are not a member of the National trust. You can access the beach from there or cliff path walk.

Absolutely unbelievable service, compared to our last visit. Which was with a smile and service. Today went upstairs in prep for breakfast. 5 mins later told to go outside join the cue and order over the external counter, when there was someone inside the cafe at her counter Ask if breakfast is waiter service , informed have to collect yourself. Went to order x2 coffees told had to wait at the external counter After 8min informed breakfast ready for collection , went to collect told , unprofessionally it’s over there!!!!!!!! Unbelievable service, most importantly best to have people working in the catering business who are able to offer service to a high degree That’s are last visit to Godrevy , we’re local residents, use to be a lovely place to go sadly, in our opinion not the case

The carrot cake was to die for and we thought very reasonably priced at £3-50? For the size of it coffee good, service excellent. Unfortunately,and wearing hearing aids a party of young mothers was on the table across from us,and whilst I understand they were having a good time it was a very intrusive sound(vanished when they left) so great place after a long walk,and definitely worth a visit.

Upmarket cafe with good food and plenty of choice. Lots of seating but, it's a popular destination and I expect it can become overcrowded in the summer. That's not a reason to avoid it, just to be aware. Godrevy is definitely a must see if you enjoy coastal walks.

Only stopped for takeaway coffee and cookie but was a nice venue on the national trust car park

Food was surprisingly excellent as a beach cafe. The atmosphere is low because you sit outside but a great view if you do.

Great place to grab a drink and cake before visiting the beach. I enjoyed a Chai Latte and my daughter quickly demolished a vegan chocolate cookie, and there was a good range of vegan and non-vegan cakes. Cafe is next to the National Trust car park.

Having walked this beach for many years it's actually the first time I have visited here! It's a great space sitting on the carpark. We sat in the sun drying out and had lemonade and a very nice flatwhite. Food menu sounded great and the cafe has indoor space upstairs as well.

I just moved to Cornwall a couple months ago, and so far this is definitely my favourite cafe! Coffee and cakes amazing! And I had the lamb kofta salad and it was incredible! Their menu changes, but I can’t wait to see that one back! 😍

Magnificent smoked mackerel sandwich and glorious hot chocolate with all the trimmings! Just what was needed to warm up after a hail lashed walk around the headland watching the waves and the seals 😀👍

Great for after a wave . Busy in peak seasons obviously. Car park and cafe can all get busy but can’t it everywhere especially during peak seasons but that doesn’t change the fact that the food is fab, the scenery is amazing and that is during peak seasons so it’s always going to be a bit stressful but knock that aside it’s always brilliant. Great location. Arrived with friends for coffee only to be made to feel very unwelcome. Barista was so rude. Why work I. The service industry if you can’t handle a few customers. Made to wait outside to be served for ages then again to receive our orders before being permitted to sit inside. Not great in December. Food was nice but not worth the abuse.

A lovely cafe next to the beach car park. There is a take away hatch, or you can order here and go upstairs to eat. Dogs are welcome. Breakfast sandwiches were huge and the coffees were lovely. Especially after a windy or rainy dog walk along the beach.

What a brilliant beachside gem of a cafe. We stopped for a family lunch and there was a brilliant range of freshly made delicious meals. Wonderful toasties, generous and healthy wraps, and a fantastic mackerel sandwich. Great coffee and a lovely selection fo teas too. Thank you 😊

Not the same 😔 I have been to this cafe many times over the years on holidays to Cornwall and it has always been amazing however on our recent trip so much has changed, our food was all cold, the menu was very limited and the cakes were covered in wasps and flies. We will unfortunately not be returning 😔

Very poor . Cold plates. Cold food. Hard eggs. Need I go on. Service through a hatch. Flies and wasps all over the cakes. Such a shame as I had been assured it used to be great.

Just not the same. Have always loved this cafe but it has changed to much over the last few years. They used to do a brilliant breakfast which they no longer offer, its just sandwiches now. You could used to go in and get the feel for the food but now you are shut out. Real shame its changed

Yet again I walked away as the service was so slow. In 30 minutes of queuing they only served 3 people. This is fairly common. Terrible. Go to the horsebox on the beach, much quicker!

Fantastic Beef Rendang, fluffy herb rice, loose leaf green tea fit for an Emperor and great service. What more could you ask for? Oh yes great location. 2022 update, crispy Hake burger, fantastic. Very helpful friendly service as always 👌

I loved the fresh vegan salad from the cafe today menu great and staff seemed attentive and welcoming, much better than the place down the road. The only minor drawback was the covid screens still remain. Id find it more inviting if these were gone and make space for more indoor seating. Im glad we could have it on china though.

Was really impressed with this place - it’s way above the standard of your typical NT car park cafe. We had the lunch specials - lamb kofta, butternut squash frittata, superfood bowl - all healthy and delicious, with big portions too!

Highly recommend the Mexican salad, delicious and incredible flavours! Amazing view as well. They made a ham and tomato sandwich specially as well.

I'm a local and have been to this cafe at least 10 times in the past year. Whilst food is good, the service is very poor. Very slow- they seem to need more staff - particularly on the drinks. We received and ate half our cooked food before the hot drinks were ready to collect!

Went for breakfast here and was a little disappointed at the lack of options available. Nonetheless we all opted for a breakfast sandwich. Little ones had apple juices and we had tea. The sandwiches weren't that hot and they had no white bread so we were left with granary or ciabattas. There was no sauces on the table and unfortunately it felt like the ingredients were a little cheap. Put it this way a Tesco or Morrisons breakfast would have been tastier and cheaper. For nearly £40 I would have expected a little more I'm afraid. I'm not one for criticising small businesses so some good points - clean tables and room, beautiful spot to eat and the cakes looked delicious behind the counter.

went here with my mate to fill our bottles up and get some ice-cream and the guy that served us was just rad. real friendly and he had loads of cool tattoos, don't go down godrevy way very often but definitely will now. thanks mate :)

We love your cafe. It's our cafe of choice and recommend it to everyone but there's a few things you could do to make it even better. 1. Sort out the swarms of wasps that plague customers and your staff. It will undoubtedly be affecting your business, we've noticed it's notably quieter than usual. 2. Please bring the atmosphere back by playing music. Upstairs is like a waiting room. The acoustics are terrible with loud echoey voices, pushing and pulling of chairs etc. It's not a nice experience. We miss the chilled atmosphere you once had, the beachy colour theme and artwork. It's now preferable to 'take away'. Thank you for providing great food and drink. Despite all this we will always prefer you over other local options.

The most glorious granola bowl I’ve had in a very long time, everything in the bowl was portioned well not lacking one or the other. We also enjoyed the breakfast sandwich when you can add extra breakfast goodies eg sausage mushrooms etc, this was a double handed sandwich, delicious! Lovely coffee. Service was great considering it was a busy morning for them. Buzzer for when food was ready did not have to wait long at all, was fully prepared to wait considering how busy they were, but was pleasantly surprised!

We have been coming here for a number of years with no issues but today we sadly had a very poor experience. The staff member taking orders between 12:00 & 1300 was dismissive and unhelpful, the Mexican wrap was missing at least 3 of the listed ingredients and 3 out of 5 cakes ordered tasted burnt. We then were told we ‘took the wrong drinks’ in a very accusatory tone after a member of our group was explicitly told that they were ours to take and then we had to carry and collect all drinks back and forth to rectify their mistake as the staff do not leave the cafe for anything. Such a shame because it could be and has been such a great spot. Hopefully they were just having a bad day today and no one else suffers a bad experience.

I regularly walk my pram along the coast weekly and decided to stay on today for a hot chocolate and cake with my toddlers. Hoping for a warm welcome, the lady on the counter was very dismissive, snappy and clearly desperate to shut up shop at 4.15pm and made that very clear to the customers. Not a good sign that they are already over the busy, summer season at Godrevy! I'm local, won't be going back any time soon. A warm, friendly welcome and smile means so much.

A must before or after a walk up to Godrevy lighthouse. Door stop breakfast sandwiches, homemade waffles and cakes and caters for vegans and dairy free…. All with a view! We’ll be back to try lunch next and another selection of cakes! Yum

Lovely beach cafe. Emphasis on quality local ingredients. Coffee done correctly. Cakes baked onsite. Local De Bara sourdough used. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

A great cafe right on Gwithian Towans beach. What stood out to me were the healthy options which seems very hard to find with cafes these days.

Lovely light lunch. Good to rest and have some bites after a half day hike.

This is the best food we have eaten at a NT cafe. I had a delicious vegan wrap, full to the brim with deliciousness. The rest of the party had mackerel sandwiches. Fresh and tasty, great mug of tea. Please can this chef advise the other trusts where we have been offered sandwiches that have stale crusts with a bag of crisps! Thank you chef!

A lovely little beach cafe in a beautiful setting. Fantastic food and the biggest sandwiches I've ever had anywhere. The staff were all friendly, very helpful and made the visit a pleasant and welcoming experience. I can heartily recommend this cafe and will certainly be back.

Awesome cafe with great food, drinks and cakes. Really enjoyed the coffee and cakes. Visited today (my wife’s birthday) for brunch and had homemade waffles with bacon and maple syrup. This was delicious and good value. Perfect location and friendly staff.

As NT members, we called in here on way to lighthouse walk and greeted by really lovely friendly guy. Ordered two wraps and hot drinks, both drinks were excellent, strong coffee and hot but the wraps were unbelievable. Vegan wrap with hot halloumi was fantastic,...

Went there just before closing time, as it was not busy it had shut early, but they still made us a couple of Teas. Which is all we wanted anyway. Much appreciated. Lovely staff. Been here many times and will be back many times again in the future!

Decent beachside cafe close to the beach offering a limited range of breakfasts and sandwiches (doorstop). Good selection of cakes, good service and frequented by locals.

The café has an officious, business management, privatised National Trust feel to it. Couldn't believe still being forced to order sit down lunch outside in the wind behind plastic screens then wait in the cold while food is prepared. You then, get this, have to carry your own food up the outside staircase to the 1st floor terrace then in before it's sopping wet & you're out of the wind and rain. Only then are you finally allowed to sit down. Just about bearable when the weather's good but we're elderly, the 10-15 minute wait was horrible. If you like a barbarically customer unfriendly, vastly overpriced lunch, with no proper sea views despite the position, this is your place....

Thank heavens for Godrevy cafe! It's one of the few cafes on the Cornish coast open in winter. We called in on Monday for lunch in the course of a walk along part of the South West coastal path. Predictably, even on a January weekday...

Been here numerous times, excellent coffee and modern takes on food and drinks to suit all tastes and requirements, all of a high standard, they go the extra mile here for sure and served with a smile too:)

During a visit to the coast in December,my son and I visited this great cafe. Great soup and homemade rolls really warmed us up. Highly recommended

For a number of years this has been a guaranteed place for good coffee. Unfortunately, that seems to be no longer the case. Had a very disappointing latte and americano. Both tasted weak and bitter, like the espresso was under dosed and over extracted

This is the best cafe (so far) in Cornwall .. and we've been here a week so I don't say it lightly. The food is yummy and generous. The coffee is perfect. The setting wonderful. The service second to none. Would I recommend it? YES
