Over an hour wait after being told 20 mins. Two young adults with excuses that we are too busy. Probably needed someone managing this place. Shame as pizzas could be nice, but very small and overpriced.

Brought two pizzas this evening from their truck. Both quite small which was ok as toppings were generous. Flavour was great, just let down as they were not cooked so well. Burnt on the edges of the crust and raw dough on the base in the middle. If they solve this it would be a great pizza 🍕

Delicious hand made pizza, lovely menu and good value for money . Friendly service and easy ordering, loved it. Great to eat on the nearby beach if the weather is warm enough.

Always wanted to try the pizzas from here, but dam they're tasty. Had the Mediterranean pizza but ate it all before I could. Even the missus and daughter ate all of theirs which never happens with their Dominos!

I ordered via the app this morning, received my confirmation email immediately, turned up just now at the correct time to collect my pizza and they aren't open. Had to call 3 times to get an answer. Owner not very apologetic - it rained heavily earlier so they decided not to open, but apparently didn't realise they had any orders. I have now been refunded but no real apology - poor form. We won't be back!

Really great pizza, which we ordered online or via the app and you get a pick up time. The van is close to two pubs, where you can get take out drinks and go have your dinner on the beach, whilst watching the sunset.

Small cabin serving wood fired pizza near Chesil beach. Cheerful, efficient, and friendly staff and great pizza… so popular they regularly run out in the summer. But you can order in advance and with an AP. Highly recommend. Pub next door where you can have a drink while waiting for your order and esplanade around the corner to sit and eat while watching the sun going down over the bay. Lovely

I love pizza, I eat it, study it and make it. The quality of this pizza is excellent, with lots of variety and no fancy hipster descriptions. One pizza is great for an average adult, go sit on the beach with a takeout beer from the Cove House Inn and enjoy. Pizzas are about 8in diameter, flat crust, thin crispy base and cooked in an oven in the van. Booking your pizza ahead of time is essential.

Margherita pizza burnt to a cinder. It was inedible. I managed to pick a few pieces from the middle but it was burnt on the top and underneath. Top tip: check your pizza before you head home. 🧐

They're still No.1!! I've previously rated these guys as the best pizza I've ever had, and I'm so glad that after a 5 year gap I still feel the same. I've had pizza all around the globe, and I would choose this one over any other. Both the pizza and garlic flatbread with sundried tomatoes were truly first class.

Placed an order for five pizzas over messenger to be collected, arrived just as they were being boxed up, great service, really tasty pizza, two veggie, one pepperoni, one mushroom and a hawaian, very nice, very fresh pizza good size really tasty and good ingredients, perfect crispy base, good price, would definitely order again!

If you are thinking about grabbing a Pizza from these guys, don't think too long about it! As they only have limited stock each day and when they sell the last pizza...I am told they close! Not the cheapest Pizza you can find. But it appears to be real dough, cooked in a wood fired pizza oven, with a set of nice quality ingredients. If you are hungry I recommend getting 1 each. If you are just socially eating (as we did) then 3 pizzas is plenty for 6 of you to have as a light dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed this bit of "fast food". Its certainly a quality over quantity type of establishment.

Seamless ordering system using the Qbab app, and very friendly service once we arrived. The pizzas were of a great quality and the ingredients tasted fresh. We went for a variety of pizzas but I recommend the Portland Spicy

Definitely gone down hill. Pizza was under cooked. I am editing the review as this morning received a message and call from Charlie the owner. Charlie was very concerned and apologetic . If a owner takes steps this fast to rectify a compliant they deserve success. Will be trying the pizzas again as hopefully this was a one off

Best pizza I've had in a long, long while! Lived on Portland over 3 years now & never got round to getting a pizza from here until tonight. My only negative about the pizza is I wish it was bigger! I enjoyed it so much! Will definitely be getting pizzas from here from now on. I can highly recommend them!

My first visit and was NOT disappointed. I had selected the 'Portlander' with an additional topping & my friend ordered a 'Hawaiian' (has enjoyed may pizzas from here previously). Having logged onto their pre-order/pre-pay site 'Qbab' the night before and placed/paid for collection to suit. Arrived a few minutes before collection time & received a msg stating our order was 'being prepared' & at the designated time a further msg received stating 'order ready for collection'. Easy to navigate & place/pay for the order. Slick & professional......AND the pizza was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend :)

Visited outside quiddles for the pizza and plonk evening had excellent pizzas and service from the jalopy, would definitelyrecommend. It is a shame that the drinks service from quiddles was so bad I would suggest sitting on the prom and taking your own drinks

We ordered pizzas from the Portland outlet on a Thursday night when they do a 2 for £12 deal. As they are located next door to a pub we put in an order and then went for a drink while we waited. 30 mins later we picked up the pizzas and went home. At home I discovered that I had been given the wrong pizza (veggie instead of tuna) although the other one was correct. I opted just to eat it as by the time we got back home the van had closed. The pizzas were very good, nice toppings and tasty. Could be slightly bigger though! We enjoyed them and would go again.

Visited Portland Pizza company at the Queen Mother Square, Poundbury on a Wednesday evening. Fabulous crispy based pizza, great value and friendly service.

We had a spicy Portlander today. All I can say is that is was amazing. So tasty. We will certainly be going back. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended

Served from a small and rather shabby looking trailer by the road in Portland first impressions were not good. Bit the warm welcome and smells coming from the wood oven dispelled any doubts.The menu is simple, thin crust 9 inch pizzas. The toppings are generous and fresh and most of the standard options are there including the dreaded Hawaiian along with a few specials.This is not fast food with each pizza cooked individually but this is managed well and it is a great opportunity to chat to the locals that seem to be most of the customers.The pizzas are excellent, a class above the standard take away and most restaurants as well. Part of the reason seems to be they are cooked quickly with fresh ingredients.The van only operates during the summer months on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 5 to 8pm. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Used these guys for the fisrt time. Live locally in Weymouth. We googled stonebaked pizza and this came up. Picked up the phone to a really helpful chap. Ordered 2 pizzas at 7:20, a pepperoni and a Jalapeno hot. There in 20 mins. Ready, hot and delicious. £14. Great flavour, nicely cooked, felt pretty authentic. The van is just off Victoria Square in a car park, super convenient. Open thurs to Sat. Will recommend and use again.

During our recent trip to east Fleet Farm today we have Just had two delicious pizzas positively the best ever and that includes our during visit to Rome well done we will be back

We picked up some pizzas for a quick dinner. They operate out of a small trailer with a wood burning pizza oven. Just watching the operation is worth stopping for :-)

We ordered 4 pizzas from the mobile van parked in a car park at Chesil bank. The pizzas were perfect- thin crust, fresh toppings. Eating them on the beach on a warm evening was idyllic. The only down side was the wait. We were told 20-30 mins, so went for a walk and came back, but then had to wait as long again. A lot of hanging about in a car park. But ultimately worth the wait. Excellent food.

Authentic stone baked, wood fired pizza. Beautifully presented and tastes fantastic. Those of you who prefer the overpriced gargantuan offerings from the nearby outlet in Wyke stay away!! This is proper food, freshly cooked. Be there on a Thursday and get any 2 pizzas for £10. I had my first taste last Thursday (only moved to the area last November) but will be a regular from now.

The Pizza is cooked in a proper pizza oven in a mobile venue in the car park. It isnt cheap and the portion isnt huge. The Pizza was OK but nothing special

try the Mexican spicy pizza...food is perfectly cooked with lots of flavour at a great price. We had ours at a beer festival where they had a table set up and ordering system

We got 2 pizzas and a garlic break. The pizza was okay okay, but very pricy and small!! The garlic bread was just a flat rolled bread brushed with garlic oil, which was tasteless. Very dissatisfying!!

We had the opportunity to enjoy a pizza from the Portland pizza company whilst they were visiting Wareham Forest Campsite. The pizzas are freshly made, with plenty of toppings, and provided really good value for money. An excellent meal!

After wandering about Portland looking for somewhere to eat we came across the Portland Pizza Van (just outside the Ship pub). We had a peperoni, meat feast and garlic bread between 4 (£16). It was proper thin bases made freshly and tasted fantastic. They seem to average roughly a 10 inch pizza so if you have a big appetite I would get one each. I would recommend them if you are a lover of proper italian style pizza.

We stayed at East Fleet Touring Park last year and come across The Portland Pizza Company when they visited. Had a couple of great Pizza's and were excited to see they would be there again this year. They never failed to deliver an amazing fresh pizza (Ok, 3 for 2 of us there that good!) cooked in the wood burner giving it an authentic taste, friendly and chatty staff - fab service - what more can you ask for.

We went to East Fleet Farm for pizza and it was amazing! Great service, made fresh and very quick. Can't wait to visit again for a super tasty pizza with views of the breathtaking Jurassic Coastline.

I have been meaning to try the pizzas from this little van for a while now. Tonight we drove over and all I can say is that it was worth the wait. All pizzas are made fresh to order while you wait, with the dough rolled out and the toppings added while the owner happily chatted away. We had a Hawaiian and a Portlander with a side order of cheesy garlic bread and all were delicious. The wood fired oven adds an extra level of taste and we will definitely be back to try the other pizzas.

After a busy day in Weymouth and Portland we were all quite ravenous and the PPC was a great stop - we had two equally good pizzas and the garlic bread was excellent. We sat on the beach eating out pizza watching the sun go down - the guy running the stall was very helpful and fun too! Can't wait to go back!
