Always had a great takeaway from here, but not tonight, late and cold and soggy fries, but it’s the first time ever so unless they are under new management it was just a blitch , usually great
The coffee was gritty, the sugar had solidified in the sachets. When I asked about food options there was a response that they didn’t offer them before 12pm and then I was handed one menu (a dirty piece of a4 paper) that we had to share between us and the other tables. It was cold despite the log fire and the staff were loudly talking about a member of staff who had been fired in a derogatory way.
Ordered gluten free pasty , owner was lovely service was brilliant. But £6 for a pasty that wasn't even nice . I know they are warmed to order in a microwave which doesn't help but obviously to avoid cross contamination this needs to be done .
Visited today for first time after reading good reviews and thought I would try. Was quite disappointed. Staff were welcoming and prices not bad, ordered two fish 1 chips and a pea fritter. The fish was nice but chip’s awful, think they were reheated from lunch time as they were very crispy and lots of little bits . Not one chip could you bite into like a proper potato chip. The pea fritter was nice but lukewarm not hot in the slightest. Will give this place one more try and will not get there to close to opening time encase I have lunchtime reheated chips again.
The only place I know sells potato scallops, yummy, better than chips. All the food was delicious, and the service was brilliant. There was a carton of pop and a little game for my grandson, smashing! I'll be going again.
What a gem! Such friendly and warm people. I had a delicious quiche - home made! And a really good cuppacino . I loved the attention to detail with fresh flowers and really nice touches.
Found this hidden gem and recommend to all. Good food, coffee and service. Lady who served us was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had panini's with salad which were very tasty. I would go again when in the area.
CAUTION may now be closed: One of a kind, relaxed, informal, unpretentious eatery run by charming owner. Breakfast good, roast beef on Sunday, delectable! Waterfront eating out, on sunny days. If you're by the waterfront, don't walk by, drop in and try something delicious.
We always like to support local community groups and after walking round Wareham, i walk with a stroller and found the cafes either full or with steps so not to good for me, just as we were about to give up, i spotted the local church community cafe, where a lady showed me a lift to get in. Me and my wife both had a ploughmans whilst my son with autism had 2 pieces of homemade cake. Everyone was very friendly and if in Wareham again will definitely pop in
