A beautiful family run farm shop. Who always supplies the best produce. We have a goose every year and we are never disappointed. Highly recommend

Great little shop I moved to East Coker in May and immediately noticed the lack of a local shopping however I soon discovered Goose slade. It’s become part of my regular routine.The small cuts of meat are perfect for me,being single and the pastries are a delight Favourite drink right now ? “Cole Porter” brewed by piddle brewery Yes it can work out a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for and the staff are always really friendly and helpful 🙏🏽

Held a weekend event here on the camp site Staff (the family) are the best so polite so helpful facilities are spotless so clean and tidy Farm shop is very well stocked with great local produce and some excellent 'accidental' dairy free cakes which was even better! Highly recommend both the CL site and the farm shop

Overpriced veg well past the sale buy date. Prices shown are also different at check out on some items also. Invoices are not itemised either so difficult to check.

Cosy, well stocked farm shop. Rustic, rural location. Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff. A must for visitor and local alike. They also have a small caravan park on site. Cracking but of ribeye steak

We went to get some food, amazing variety of good local products, during Covid-19 they were brilliant to control the number of people in the shop with sanitizer available as well. Friendly staff and incredibly helpful. Thank you!

Friendly and welcoming. I never went inside but they stocked the icecream I was craving and the visit was a really success. Beautiful farmland surrounds the shop and I would have loved to have stopped a while over coffee.

First visited 03/03/2020 - will definitely go again. Bought meat and veg, mostly locally sourced, and even from Goose Slade Farm itself. Stopped in the cafe and had salmon and cream cheese baguette with a salad, followed by parsnip and white chocolate cake and a hot chocolate drink. Good sized and "super-tasty" portions of food. Great products, lovely cafe,pleasant and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Goose Slade is a hidden gem. We regularly meet up here with other mums and babies for lunch or for tea and cake. The staff are lovely and always happy to accommodate our buggies and larger group (8 people). The food is delicious, especially the cakes and bakes, and it’s all very reasonably priced.

We arrived and had to ask for the table we were about to sit at to be wiped clean. Ordered three salads (Salomon and two ham )which when arrived and consisted of very sparse chopped up ice burg lettuce, a couple of cherry tomatoes, slither of cucumber, and some onion. The smallest pot of coleslaw about a dessert spoonful. If I go out for food I would expect it to have a little luxury and not basic. The baguette with ham and cheese did not represent farm house quality you could have brought the same in a meal deal from a supermarket. We had coffee and cake as we were still hungry from the lack of salad. The cakes were nice but one member of our party asked for a little more in his coffee cup the manager said it’s a top up not a refill!! We had ordered coffee with our and meal and yes it’s advertised as free top up when purchasing a coffee,however this was not followed up until we ordered cake therefore it was a bit Late for a top up and a refill would have been respectful in this instance. Such a shame we would not visit again .

Coffee good but very small cups, said they give refills, never seen one refill on the last three visits. Don't promise what you don't give.

If you’re after a good coffee and a good selection of cake this is the place you need to visit! Snacks also available. Reasonably priced closed Sunday and Monday

Very pleasant setting, goats, chickens roaming free. Shop has a great choice of local food and delicious bread. Cafe has a good choice of snacks and delicious, nothing too much trouble for the staff. A very pleasant place to visit.

Very nice 'farm' shop with both luxury and practical items. AND tea and cake!!

A lovely cafe with good local made cakes, good coffee and generally good wholesome food. We have been there several times now and the standard as always been good. The farm shop has a range of seasonal fresh produce as well as chilled and frozen meats. There is also local bread, eggs and many other items on display so its a good alround selection. Getting to the Goose Slade Farm Shop menas taking narrow single track riads so care should be taken for animals, pedestrians and cyclists as well as tge odd tractor or two. Well worth a visit if you fancy somewhere different.

Found this Farm Shop, tearoom by chance. Well worth a stop to look about shop. Had a light lunch in tearoom. Field outside was full of geese. Off the main road but signposted

Popped in for coffee and cake. Staff always helpful, lovely local produce. Always fun to watch the geese when they are about. Nice clean and well maintained camp site not far from Sutton Bingham reservoir.

Stopped in for a coffee and cake, was not disappointed. Coffee was good cake (coffee & walnut) was excellent 4 layers of icing!!! Total price £4.25 which is about par nowadays. Atmosphere pleasant and place clean. Only 'problem' was, as always, I specified black coffee but it came with a jug of milk, I don't like waste and it is an indication that the staff need to be trained to listen.

We had seven wonderful nights on the caravan park at goose slade farm. The owners were very nice and friendly . 16 amp hook up and the farm shop and cafe were good. Very well positioned for holiday makers as you are not far from anywhere. Thanks for a good week.

This little farm shop has much to recommend it. It has farm- fresh produce; friendly staff; excellent food at the right price and baby- changing facilities. I had a quick look at the kitchen which was spotless. Extremely family friendly. Good parking. Outside tables for dog walkers and smokers. I noted that this establishment welcomes caravans on a small plot by the shop. How delightful to spend a night here to break up a long journey to Cornwall! Not terribly easy to find, but persevere and you'll be glad you did.

Good selection of artisan food.

We stopped here for lunch with the children, the food was all freshly prepared and tasted lovely. I thought it was great that the children had the choice of 2 triangle sandwiches or 4, everything has been really well thought out. The shop had a really good selection of products. We would definitely like to eat here again

A delightful spot for a light lunch, with a choice of Ploughmans, baked potatoes or sandwiches/baguettes, with a wide variety of delicious fillings such as trout pate. All served with salad and crisps. The scenery was beautiful and tranquil. Altogether a memorable meal,

Lovely tea shop with lots of different food items to buy. Staff were lovely and you can watch the large flock of Greece in the field .great thing is they are open until 6.pm. other places take note far more sensible than closing at the stupid time of 4 pm.highly recommend.

Great cafe stop for cyclists. Warm and friendly staff, always smiling. Plenty of room to park our bikes. Plenty of room inside or out. Great coffee and cake as well. Bonus there's even a free coffee refill ☺🍰☕

We arrived to a friendly welcome from the staff and had a look at the cake counter before ordering. We took a seat over looking the fields waiting for our food which was quick and filling. The 2 meals we had ment we didn't need a cake and the pot of tea for 2 did 6 cups!!!! There was no rush, we watched the geese going round the farm and the owner checked we were happy. After the food we had a look round the well stocked shop and bought some cake for a late afternoon snack. Will be going back.

We bought home made sandwiches and drinks to take for a picnic at Sutton Bingham reservoir. The service was great and the food excellent.

What a very pleasant surprise, we went along for lunch, there were enough people to make it interesting but few enough to be relaxing. The little room was clean and well presented with lovely views. The food was delightful, very well presented and very reasonably priced particularly when compared to over priced garden centres, service was friendly. The shop has a great supply of local produce. Well worth a visit for lunch, snack or tea and cake.

We go here quite often as we pick our bread up twice a week. We have always found the food to be of a high standard and the owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. Would recommend highly.

We stayed in the local area and the owners of the cottage we stayed in recommended the shop. We were greeted by a bunch of very friendly hens who tried to follow us into the shop (much to my kids delight). Bought some fresh sausages for the bbq...highly recommended. Plus some very fresh vegs. Great selection of fresh, frozen meat, deli delights and treats (the cakes looked amazing). Staff were lovely a helpful. Popped in a few times more to pick up bits and bobs during our holiday. Really wanted to try the cafe as it looked amazing but we just ran out of time. We are back next year and it's top of our list to have breakfast or lunch at
