First time at The Shack. Beautifully freshly cooked and seasoned burgers and fries. Great portions and prices really reasonable. Staff friendly and place is clean definitely be going back.

We always order a few times from The Shack when we are down in Perranporth as the food is just so good. There are always a decent choice and whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed. We can't wait until February for our next trip to eat from The Shack again.

Nice staff, great food made quickly 👌 milkshake was really nice too. If you are bored with pasties and fish and chips go here 😋

We had a couple of cheese burgers with shakes and a chicken burger with some spicy hot wings. The burgers were very good, nice soft baps and juicy burgers. The chicken burger was perfect mix of crunchy and moist. Milk shakes where very nice! I personally like mine a little thicker but the flavour was there. The spicy wings were very spicy, the wiener/chef did warn me. A nice juicy wing that was cooked perfectly, the marinade was like a very spicy jam, it was sweet and then the heat came through. I only managed to eat 3. Very tasty but not for non spice lovers. Overall very happy, if they shakes were thicker I’d have given it a 5. Friendly staff, food was ready in around 10-15 minutes.

Food is spot on! So we'll done to the cooks!! We've eaten twice while being down here on holiday. Pizzas and loaded fries are a must!! Can pay on card.

The food is fantastic. Quite a diverse range of food. We go there every year whilst on holiday and even though though the staff there seem young they know what they are doing and seem professional.

The shack has a huge menu for a fast food place. We ordered 5 meals and it was all cooked freshly so we waited 10 mins or so. Plenty of vegan options, and gluten free too. It’s partner Bella Pizza equally delicious and we had them all together! The food was obviously as freshly cooked very hot so perfect as we drove home with it and it was still hot. It’s served in eco friendly cardboard not plastic- which we definitely approve of. We had a BBQ pizza, crispy chicken burger, halloumi burger, chicken wrap , skin on fries, sweet potato friesand vegan hot dog. All rated very tasty. Thanks 😋

Amazing burgers at a great price, best takeaway I've had in Perranporth.

Arrived at our holiday destination late after an 8 hour horrendous journey. Went to The Shack for food and they were lovely. Very friendly and professional and after I’d ordered they offered to deliver to save me waiting. Looking forward to trying more from the menu as the food was excellent. Well deserved 5 stars.

By far the best burger in Cornwall, the chicken bacon and Brie is amazing, these aren’t processed crap it’s proper chicken breast and burger patties. My husband always has the beef and i normally always have the chicken, i can only presume the majority don’t leave reviews (normally me but I'm making a conscious effort to do better) because it’s always busy when we go and the only reason we originally found this place was because some friends said we had to go! Tried the dirty fries this time (eyes bigger than my belly) and they were absolutely unreal!

Waited over an hour for a takeaway. Watching them cook. Pizza bases are packaged. Would not recommend

We were sceptical about ordering food from The Shack because of the poor reviews. The food was fine for something quick easy and street food style, we can’t complain.

WOW!! We had the marinated chicken burger and the crispy chicken burger, also loaded fries. Tasted insane!! And all delivered to our campsite by a very pleasant chap. Please move to Manchester so I can enjoy more 🖤

What a menu! We tried a lot of things and each one was delicious. Quite a wait for the food from point of order but worth the wait... huge portions too.

What a shame !!!! Ordered loaded chilli skin on fries - really dry and couldn’t be ate so have binned them. I live locally and even though I’ve had a few issues before I thought I’d give them another chance but I won’t do it again. Really crap food tonight and a doughy spicy pizza to go with it aswell, not worth the money I’ve spent - pile of crap and over priced - never again crap food

Service was slow and disorganised. Staff argued amongst themselves. Falafel burger was burnt and crunchy. Cheese sauce was claggy and powdery. I won't be returning.

Just had a cheese burger from here it cost £8 so was expecting something special, I waited 25 minutes and what I received was a dry burger with no taste what’s so ever, I live in perranporth and would never use this place again - disgusting for the price also made me cringe that the girl making the pizzas never wore gloves and was wiping her face a lot - yuk it’s 🤢

Decent cheeseburger and fried chicken burger. Buy these. Feedback on Marinated chicken burgers, was ‘why do they have cinnamon in them’. Bit suspect. Spicy chicken wings are hot…super hot, defo giving my mate the runs tomorrow. Cheese on loaded fries are dodgy, stay clear of these.

My younger brother wanted me to post this review.The size of the burger shocked him in a good way and he said it was the best thing he’s ever tasted.Great value for money and he genuinely wanted to go back and hug the person who cooked his food.You would honestly think he has given birth with the amount he’s gushing over this burger! 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered over the phone for collection at 6.45pm waited about 15mins extra. Only living 5 mins away when I got home the food was Luke warm/cold . So I phoned them up and they offered to re make it all and give us a full refund which they did and the second time round was lovely and hot and enjoyable

The food was ok a bit pricey but large portions. However when it was delivered only 5 mins away everything was stone cold!!!

First time at The Shack tonight for a meat feast and a vegatarian pizza. Base not too thick and fully loaded with topping, very tasty. Maybe we will try the burgers next time 😊

If Carlsberg did chicken burgers this would be the place. Not one to write reviews that often but I think I genuinely just had the best chicken burger in my entire life, all for £6 as well! Didn't get chance to take a photo of it as I was to busy stuffing my face. We visited perranporth in April and needed a bite to eat later in the evening. Not sure if it was because it was out of season but there didn't seem to be too many options for food so we were pleasantly surprised to find the shack open. It was like finding and oasis in the desert after walking without water for days. Also snaffled some loaded fries too and again, too busy ramming it into my face instead of taking a picture. Will 1000% be coming back here next time im in perranporth.👍

Really disappointed with our meal from The Shack. We visit Perranporth regularly but never eaten a meal from here. The falafel burger was rock hard - too hard to bite into and dried up inside. Burgers looked like they had been thrown together and really nothing special. Fries were quite nice but that's all I could eat. Maybe it was a one off bad meal but I won't be returning.

We had th signature burger with cheese and bacon, marinated chicken burger, freid chicken burger, loaded Nacho's, pulled pork loaded fries and a margarita pizza. Good value. Ready within 20 minutes everything was cooked well and nothing leftover.

Fantastic food, well packaged only gave 4 stars as we had to wait over 1hr for our food and the bacon was missing from one of our burgers.

Oh my days!!!! The burgers are unreal!! And all the sides. This place is great. They do get busy so it’s worth phoning ahead but soooo worth it!

Everytime we visit perranporth we order from The shack. It is always 100% yummy and totally recommemd it if you haven't tried already!

Very good food. We had a cheeseburger, a chilli meal, onion rings, coleslaw and cheesy fries. Really like the caramelized red onions that were on the burger. Very very nice. Whole meal was very tasty, we ordered ahead and it was ready for us to collect when we arrived 15 minutes later.

We had a veggie burger (falafel, very large and crispy which was good) and a normal burger with chips which were both good, lots of choice on the menu and nice staff

Deliscious, Best takeout food we found at Perranporth this year Good portions. Price ok. Took a while to get made, but we'll worth the wait. Highly recommended the pulled pork fries.

Great quality food and fast service. We are staying at perrhan sands caravan park so when ordering they deliver free but you meet them at the holiday park entrance near the flags which is fine 😀when I popped in for some menus earlier they advised me to order an hour before you are planning on actually eating as they said they do get busy and so we did. The food was delivered very hot by a friendly delivery driver 😀 My Mrs ordered Chilli beef rice and peas. I tried some and it was lovely so will be having that next 😀 you get plenty too Also ordered... Signature burger... A lovely large 6oz burger... One of the best I've had.. Shacks fried chicken burger.. My son in law ate the lot 😀 Loaded fries are a meal in itself so I hope your hungry when ordering one of these with your burger 🙂 We also had.... The shacks cheese sauce fries The shacks cheese sauce with Jelepenos and the Shacks bbq pulled pork. 2 portions of haloumi fries as a side too. I'm a big eater and I didn't finish all of my food and gave some of my gourmet burger to my springer along with some cheesy sauce chips 😊 So 5 star food and a five star service... Came across this place whilst searching online for takeaways nearby on our first night away in Perranporth. After reading a few reviews from this and other takeaways in the area it was clear this was going to be the best choice. What a great choice it turned out to be. Staff polite and friendly and the food we had was delicious. So much so we used it again a few days later.

We asked for Cheese burgers and there was definately no cheese on either of the burgers. Absolutely no seasoning on the hamburger patty. Would not descibe as gourmet rather bland! Would not recommend!

Soooo delicious!!!! Just had our takeaway and it was lush!!! Amazing food and very friendly service!! Highly recommended, thank you.

The Shack is quality ingredients at their very best. The burgers are as good as any I have tasted and the gourmet hotdogs are out of this world. If you go to Perranporth you must try the shack.

Absolutely fantastic food! Came down to Cornwall on holiday and was sent a Facebook link by a friend for this little Gem. Our expectations where high as we had seen a newspaper review stating how fantastic the food here was, and I can hand on heart say that our expectations were blown apart! The staff were friendly, chatty and knowledgeable about their product and the food sold itself. The takeaway packaging was all recyclable and cleverly thought out to be easy to eat from and prevent the food from wilting during transportation. The burgers where beautifully seasoned to compliment the Cornish beef and cooked to perfection. The meat just melted in your mouth. The homemade onion relish was the perfect condiment to accompany the juicy meat and add a sweet zing to it. The loaded fries were served up as a huge portion with a generous helping of toppings. We opted for the cheddar and smoked bacon and again the flavour was outstanding! The texture of the home made Cornish chedder cheese sauce was smooth and creamy and coated the fries down to the bottom. I don't think I can accurately portray how perfect this burger was, you will just have to try it for yourself!!!
