Friendly service and really tasty burgers, fresh and flavourful. Definitely recommend a visit.

Tiny place can only go up amazing food. I decided to get the £20 burger to prove that no burger was worth £20 it blew my mind and I'm still trying to work out how they seasoned the burger patty. 10/10 the worrying thing is that next time I'm down Cornwall I would have to buy 2 next time to satisfy the inner fat man in me.😂😂

Second time I’ve stopped here this year and it was just as good as the first. The Elvis Burger and Cajun fries were great, and the beer was nice and chilly. I would love to see some beer on draught, but since everything else was great it gets five stars from me.

Visited on the bank holiday Monday in the height of the summer season, we popped in after 3pm so it was nice and quiet after the lunchtime rush. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the menu was extensive, but not overwhelming definitely something for everyone. We had the special burger which was The R N Brie & the cheese burger, along with the Poutein fries. The food was 10/10 outstanding, the burgers were super tasty and the extras such as the pickled red onion and the burger sauce just topped it off, if you like five guys.. then The Meat Counter is 100x better! The poutein fries were to die for! The gravy is super rich and tasty, the portion sizes for the fries were definitely shareable for 2 people. In regard to drinks, they had a good selection and soft and alcohol, so something for everyone again. Overall, 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be visiting again when we’re back next year.

The lovely lady ,my wife, smelt that wonderful smell of a quality burger joint and drectly searched and found me in the tool section of Triago Mills and informed me of the developing lunch situation so the hunt was on...after interrogating local street security we arrived at this burger extravaganza and we weren't disappointed best I've had since Flemings of Worthing ceased trading. That was 20 year's ago

My family and I almost randomly chose to eat here whilst wandering around Falmouth and what a find! From across the road it's obvious what this is but we almost walked straight past as it almost blends into the next-door music shop. Once inside the staff were super friendly and immediately made us feel valued and welcome. It was quiet when we visited (about 2pm) but a number of tables were reserved so booking might be a good option. There are non-meat options but this is an out and out meat lovers burger joint...and it excels at it too. The menu has loads of options and specials with customisation options too...basically if you can think it they can do it. Our food arrived fairy quickly and looked awesome. The taste was excellent and we were all stuffed when we finished. I liked the decor of movie posters and old-school records with a gentle, but killer soundtrack playing too. I liked the VHS library and TV playing them. The toilets were small but importantly spotless so all good there too. Finally the price was a surprise at only just over £50 four including soft drinks, so good value. I recommend here and would happily return.

Burgers and chips were great, if a little expensive (£60 for 4 burgers and 3 fries). Staff were strangely, really rude. Made us feel quite unwelcome after asking for some mayonnaise for our takeaway. Been here a few times over the past few years and staff have been super friendly so it was quite upsetting.

Our youngest guest at 13 declared this is the best meal I've every had. I ret every time in Falmouth as a gf and dairy free person, I can enjoy a beautiful burger, bliss! Prompt and friendly service too.

I'm going to start by saying that maybe we got unlucky as some of the images of food I've seen look a lot better than ours. We ordered an Elvis burger, asian wings and Poutine. The poutine was the best thing for sure. I don't understand the price, the regular fries are £4.00 but if you add some gravy and cheese they jump to £12.00. The burger was poor. The bun wasnt toasted, straight out of the packet. The patty was over cooked and lacked seasoning and it was all just thrown together. The wings were terrible. We didnt eat them. I expect wings to be crispy, these were slimey. The skin had no bite to it at all, and the meat tasted odd. Again, it was thrown together with no care. All in all, really disappointing and over-priced.

Awesome Burgers!! An epic meal was had by all the family. Terrific burgers and fries. Cider & lager were lovely as well. The service was excellent. Very friendly and efficient.

Meat counter has great burgers that are so delicious! I would recommend the notorious BIG, their Korean wings and regular fries (my personal faves). Although Meat counter is definitely a 5 star review, they should look at improving their milkshakes and Mac N’ cheese. Both my friends and I have tried and realised we wouldn’t order again. If these were better I think Meat counter would undoubtedly be the best restaurant in the area. But overall I’ve been here quite a few times and it always hits like the first time. Some reviews mentioned the price being high, but it’s definitely worth it and you can taste the quality in their burgers and fries.

Came down to Falmouth for work and ended up eating here both nights, first night I had a chicken burger which was so great and the second night a beef burger which was equally just as amazing! But the highlight of both nights was the staff! There was a different girl serving each night and they were both so sweet and accommodating! The lady the second night offered me a phone charger when I said I'd need to get takeaway because my phone was going to die so I managed to sit in and have a lovely meal. Thank you so much to both of them and I can't wait to come back and eat here again.

OMG, absolutely the best burgers I've had out, beats the heck out of those chain companies, and any burger I've had in a pub, truly delicious, so good I had to go back. Great friendly staff too. If you're in Falmouth, make The Meat Counter a priority place to eat, you won't be disappointed.

I've been here before and decided a Monday lunchtime return was in order. I wasn't disappointed! The menu is large with many different options, and they are more than happy to cater for different dietary requirements (one of my party was gluten-free, and providing a gluten-free bun was no hassle at all, and I don't eat cheese which was similarly no hassle). The food was freshly cooked and arrived quickly (allowing here for the cooking time, of course), and was blooming delicious. If you are in Falmouth, why not drop in for a delicious meal supporting local business at the same time. Recommended.

We went to this burger joint in between public houses one evening at about 7pm. We ordered the The Bad Muthaclucker chicken burger with Korean BBQ sauce which unfortunately dominated the taste and over powered the other ingredients some what and the Double Bacon Cheese beef burger which was absolutely delicious. My friend paid £23 for fries, a can of coke and the burger. EIGHTEEN POUNDS for a double burger that was smaller or at least as small as a McDonalds offering. The chicken offering was £13.50. The waitress turned up with metal piercings in her face and an attitude to match when I mentioned the high price whilst paying the bill. You can order main courses in nice Cornwall restaurants such as the Cellar Bistro or Papa Ninos for under £20. How can they justify these astronomical prices for a dish that takes no skill to cook or design compared to classically presented food or hearty Italian dishes? In all fairness the burgers were tasty, the service was swift as it does not take very long to knock out two burgers - five minutes we waited after the waitress took our order. Other reviews have mentioned prices via the internet being 20% higher and the shakes having been larger originally are now smaller. We have no experience of this ourselves, but if this is true it sums up some of the businesses in Cornwall. Grab as much money as they can, any way they can. This burger joint has big windows and they will see you coming! Take out a bank loan before crossing the Tamar bridge, or visit the Italian Rivieria and get better food cheaper.

Simply the best place to get a burger in Cornwall. My friends and I were walk ins on a busy Friday night, but the chef still managed to work us in. The wait staff were attentive and knew the menu well.

Best burger I've had in Cornwall! I've been to the meat counter a few times and they never disappoint. They do a classic burger extremely well, nothing overly fancy but incredibly tasty. Can't recommend them enough! The notorious BIG is absolutely delicious (as are the sexy pig fries).

Amazing food byt was overcharged by £1.50. It wont stop me going back but it was one if those "well there gies your tip" moments. I ordered a burger and a drink and i can definitely add, so unless i was additionally charged for eating in...i dont know where that charge came from.

Really nice burgers from here made with local ingredients fresh to each order. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Falmouth. Monday nights are mates rates where you can get yourself 2 selected burgers for 16 pounds. The C.R.A.P burger is my personal favourite. Really like that they have local beers un cans for a decent price too.

Outrageous prices, £20 a head for a drink and a small burger. Left still hungry. Milkshake was £6.50!!! It was half the size and twice the price of most milkshakes. You could literally get a coach to london or Bristol for a more filling burger meal for the same price (or less!)
