Great looking pub inside, very cosy. Has private parking for customers which is great. Was left waiting for a little while in restaurant entrance before being seated, waitress walked past us twice without acknowledging us which left us wondering if we were waiting in the right area (we were in the right area). Food was OK, we had burgers. Burgers were ok but chips could have been better, they were very oily and felt like they had been pre cooked and then plunged into hot oil again to reheat.

The Tap House Bar in St. Agnes, Cornwall, is a vibrant gem offering exceptional Hawaiian-inspired cuisine, top-notch service, and lively entertainment. From the moment you arrive, the friendly staff ensures a warm welcome and an unforgettable dining experience. The menu stands out with its authentic flavors, including highlights like Kalua pork, fresh poke bowls, and coconut shrimp, all crafted with the finest ingredients. Complementing the great food are delightful desserts, such as the pineapple upside-down cake. Adding to the charm, the bar features live music and events, creating an engaging and relaxing atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the Tap House is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious food, fantastic service, and memorable entertainment.

Amazing atmosphere and friendly service with food arriving quick and extremely delicious. Music was relaxing and subtle whilst the decor had character. One thing was that the lighting was a bit bright so would have fulfilled the dining experience if the spotlights were dimmed. Other than that, no issues and five stars guaranteed!

Early dinner, best to reserve a table, which we done, the ser ice was excellent, sat in a cozy nook beside an open fire celebrating our wedding anniversary, ideal. Good spread of options on the menu, with daily specials available. Chose haddock fishcake, with peas and broadbeans, plaice with triple cut chips, the sweet we chose to share of apple and blackberry crumble with custard to be honest, it lacked a good crumble top, The custard didn't arrive with the crumble until requesting for it. With a couple of drinks + 12.5% service charge £80 may be considered on the high side for some, in a pub, but this is the cotswolds, staff were great apart from left not knowing what the right hand were doing with the custard.

We would agree with so many of the reviews. We had previously stopped by for a lunch in the garden and wanted to try the evening meal. We were not disappointed - the staff were extremely friendly and the menu selection was very appetising - there were three of us all choosing different meals and we were all very pleased with our selection. The pork schnitzel was delicious and beautifully cooked.

We visited last week whilst staying in Cheltenham. We booked last minute for 20 people, they accommodated us without any complaints. Due to an event that was late we didn’t arrive until 8:45. The staff were amazing with no complaints about our punctuality. The food was out and was fantastic. 20 satisfied chaps, I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

My experience at Quayside Bar and Kitchen in Weymouth was not just disappointing due to the food, but also because of the poor customer service. I ordered the mushroom and spinach penne, which was absolutely flavorless with a sauce that was more like running water. When I raised my concerns with the manager, I was met with a dismissive attitude. She brought the dish back to my table, stating that no one had ever complained before, as if that invalidated my experience. The lack of concern for customer satisfaction was quite off-putting. A simple acknowledgment of the issue and a willingness to make it right would have gone a long way, but instead, I was made to feel as though my complaint was unwarranted. It's a real shame, as I was hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but both the food and service left much to be desired. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place.

We visited for the first time last week. We were both excited at the prospect of rarebit (since removed from the menu) the bland rarebit was just one piece of toast, the rest of the plate was salad, however the salad dressing made it tasty. But £13 seriously?! On a positive lovely views to enjoy.
