Meh. Lives from its reputation but the PIG is style over substance these days. I had the red mullet and then the sausage and mash. It was o.k. Red mullet was better. Sausage and mash was bland. There are so many great places to eat in the Cotswolds I would give it a miss.....
Had our first meal today at 27….Sunday lunch was pretty outstanding. So much excellent food, served beautifully. Service was hit & miss, slow & inattentive but I’ll put that down to it being very busy & will definitely go again. Totally recommend!
Not a lover of vegan food, until I dined here with my vegan daughter for her birthday!! Tried a number of dishes without a single complaint!! I am not someone who is easily pleased but I was suitably impressed with Loves Cafe!! It gave us a first class experience without charging a first class price!!! I will definitely be visiting Loves Cafe as often as possible!! Tracy xx
We had a fabulous night here in March. It was a family reunion, including a couple of dogs. The food was really good, especially the homemade steak pie. The service was brilliant, with a good bit of banter and humour. They welcomed our dogs with open arms, even when they started to play. It truly was a brilliant evening. Thank you for your 100% excellent service and making us feel more than welcome.
I had battered sausage and chips, the battered is soft and soggy, chips are good. But the prices are 150% of the London chippies I have been using and the portion of regular chips were half the size I expected. I won't be going here again personally
