What is the point of saying that you are open at 17.00 each weekday evening if you're not fookin open

What a wonderful pub! We had a beautiful lunch, a few drinks, great chats with the owners and friendly locals and checked out their new, great accommodation. Can highly recommend.

Great pub with a large selection of beers and a varied menu at reasonable prices. Lovely staff who are attentive and helpful. Worth a visit.

We had beautiful homemade meals namely vegetarian lasagne and burger and chips. We was more than happy to wait a tad bit longer to have our meals made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Having said that it wasn't a silly wait at all, we've waited longer for a frozen meal in Beafeater! The owners were really welcoming and outgoing. We would highly recommend stopping here for a drink and proper grub. Absolutely delicious 😋

Popped in for lunch while passing through Bow village. Very friendly staff, very welcoming as soon as we stepped in. Food was lovely and all homemade. I had a Cheese Burger and my wife had Lasagne. We can recommend both. Portions are plentiful. Very interesting bits and bobs and period features in the 16th century pub. We would certainly recommend it and will definitely return when next in the area.

Went as a family of 6. Sally recommended the mixed grill and the taste was spot on. We will definitely be visiting again. A top member of staff

Lovely pub! Great cheap food and very friendly landlord/lady, really cosy pub with pool table, darts and tv, the food we had was great, we got a homemade streak and ale pie and it was lovely and HUGE, loved looking at all the historic photos on the walls aswell, we will deffo be back!

Fantastic hospitality from the landlord and landlady. The food is first class, freshly cooked with 'proper' portions. Great value for money and well worth a visit.

Beautiful food the steak i had was cooked perfectly and was so tender.really warm friendly enviorment good for familys and gathering with friends.will be paying regular visits for food and few local brewed pints.

We just had the most wonderful Sunday lunch here. We usually assume Sunday roasts out will never exceed the homemade roast yet this really does. The gravy is 11/10, meat is 11/10 and the roast potatoes are out of this world. I implore everyone to go here.

Booked a table for our first night staying in the area as reviews said good things. Landlord was extremely helpful and friendly. The menu focused on “homemade” but I wouldn’t say anything was homemade. Very salty and extremely average at best. My husband who owns a pizza business was extremely disappointed by the tesco style pizza that was served. Drinks were good, but the pooing dogs next to our table in the garden took it away. Sadly won’t be giving it a second go. Could be a great pub with better quality food.

Went to the pub on a Friday night and Sunday afternoon too. Nice cosy pub, good selection of beers, and best of all the food was fantastic. The Sunday roast beef dinner was probably one of the best I've ever had!

You know how sometimes you walk into a pub and, within moments, you just know that you'll like it? Well, for us, that was The White Hart at Bow. My wife and l popped in for a quick drink whilst our daughter was at an area Cubs New Year party at Bow Village Hall. Neither of us had ever been in before but, honestly, within a few minutes we felt really relaxed and at-home. The people behind the bar plus the locals were just so friendly and welcoming but not in an "all-over-you" fashion; that would have had the opposite effect. No, they seemed to treat us like locals that just hadn't been in for a while. I'm probably not explaining it very well! We've since been back with our daughter for Sunday lunch. Delicious but you'll definitely need to book. Highly recommended.

Lovely characterful old English country pub. The ale was well kept and tasted great. The food choice was good and the food was lovely. Would heartily recommend the burger to any hungry meat eaters out there!
