Popped into the cafe for the first time as I waited for my car to be serviced. I genuinely was served by the nicest person ever! Had a breakfast baguette and coffee which were very good. But as I sat and ticked down the time, the sincere care I witnessed this server gave to the locals and new customers alike was genuinely heart warming. Thank you for your service and will definitely be back again when I’m in the area!

Nous y avions pris notre petit déjeuner. Restaurant très propre, nourriture bonne, accueil cordial. Un peu déçu par le rapport quantité prix. Un toast pour un veggie breakfast c'est trop léger.

Popped into the cafe for breakfast and a coffee one morning while staying overnight in the town while doing a 150 mile charity walk for Dementia UK and all I can say is amazing . Service was good , coffee was good and the full English breakfast was superb , probably the best I’ve had in a long time .. all tasted great and cooked to perfection . Highly recommend

visited this cafe on 12/2/22 on our way to the Colesbourne park. its a pretty little cafe. we had vegetable burger and hot chocolate. the presentation was nice and food tasted really good. the decoration , the lighting, the tables were very nice. I loved the yellow tulips they had in the vase on the table. staff were well-mannered and helpful. I'll visit again to have the same vegetable burger when I visit cheltenham.

Entered for breakfast. The lady rattled off the instructions and we sat down. We chose and waited, and waited. We questioned each other “was it table service or order at the counter?” Then we saw a waiter approach, at a snail’s pace I might add, to take an order from a couple at their table, so we assumed it was table service, right? So we waited, and waited, and watched the slow waiter clean down a table, and we waited. Eventually the lady said “when you’re ready order at the counter”. Too slow, lackadaisical staff. We left telling the lady as we exited “far too slow”. Now enjoying a breakfast elsewhere served swiftly and efficiently

My wife and I had lunch here 3/6/21. Quick lunch stop before a visit to Deya brewery. Great price and quality burger. Good Covid measures and service was good. Resident dog was friendly. Good food and service right by Cheltenham Spa train station

Acabo de pasar por un café y un pedazo de pastel, pero qué lugar tan estupendo encontramos. Excelente servicio, excelente café y el mejor brownie de chocolate probado en un buen rato. Tan conveniente para la estación que vale la pena agregar unos minutos al tiempo del viaje para probar la hospitalidad de Madison.

I went for scrambled eggs on toast : prepared by the chef, brought to the table, decent toast, three eggs, herbs, Lurpak, and some hot coffee. Unexpected pleasure.

Debido a las cancelaciones / retrasos de trenes, etc., terminamos teniendo que esperar en la estación de Cheltenham Spa para que un tren se dirigiera hacia Exeter. Con todo en la estación cerrado, incluidos los baños, dimos una caminata corta y nos alegramos de ver este increíble lugar abierto. Al no tener mucho tiempo, pedimos té. Bueno, no puedo recordar la última vez que me sirvieron una taza de té y "Real Tea", ¡no una bolsita de té! ! Good service and delicious chocolate eclairs. Food around the other tables all looked lovely. Definitely worth a visit.

Almorzamos en este lindo y pintoresco café hoy. Está a unos pocos metros de la estación de tren de Cheltenham Spa, por lo que si tiene tiempo antes de tomar un tren, es ideal. Servicio eficiente y amable, té hecho con hojas de té reales (!) Y ensalada de halloumi con hojas de ensalada, tomates y tomates secados al sol, que estaba delicioso, y todo por menos de 10. Esta es una recomendación realmente fuerte, ¡sin duda volveré!

Went in for a quick lunch. Nice little cafe, good service. Had a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw and it was HUGE. Shame as it left no room for cake, and the range of cakes looked amazing.

I've only ever been for brunch, but everytime I go the food is amazing! the coffee is delicious and the staff is very kind. Very fair price and very peaceful. Highly recommend!

Bacon baguette & coffee £6.50. Now, call me tight, but for a bacon roll north of £4 I was expecting great things. Part bake roll & tepid bacon. I reckon they’ve got it in them to do better than that.

We’ve been attending the Cheltenham Festival for years and decided with time on our heads to have brekkie @ Maddison’s. What a pleasant surprise and we both had a breakfast bap and coffee which were excellent. This will now become a Festival staple for us - thank you

I had time to spare whilst waiting for a train and decided to have breakfast in Madisons. It was really busy and it would have been easy to look elsewhere, but I’m glad I didn’t. Had a full English with an americano. So pleased that I did. It was really really nice. Freshly cooked. Nice relaxed atmosphere, quick service.

Yes I am writing another review because Maddison's is still the best cafe in Gloucestershire.

Popped in here whilst having my car serviced. Lovely friendly staff. A very good panini and cup of tea. Reasonably priced too. Just near the station too.

I used to think about this place as best coffee and Cheltenham and loved going there but my last visit left me with sour taste. I had bought my coffee and tasted it and something was off. I have spoke to staff member and the way it was all handled after that was very embarrassing. Staff member got very defensive about milk being in date and really spoke to me in condescending way. Look after your customers especially that there a 03 different places very nearby where people can get a coffee.

I was recommended Madison's by the garage while waiting for my car's MOT to be done. From the outside it's an unprepossesing cafe but there's a warm welcome. The coffee is excellent, including a great decaf. The full English was very good - tasty bacon, a good quality sausage and everything else to match. The plate was hot and kept the food warm right to the end.

Had a quick Brunch whilst waiting for the arrival of my daughters train from London. The coffee was excellent as was the smoked salmon and scrambled egg with plenty of toast. Generous potions served really hot as well. I might add they had a really varied menu something for everyone.

There is not a lot at Cheltenham Spa Railway Station, so if you have to change trains this place is a gem. It’s also great if you are just nearby. Home made food. Soups, rolls, jacket potatoes and cakes. Friendly, filling and delicious.

the owner is the rudest person I've ever met..had a lunch there few weeks ago, I was working on my laptop and after a few hours she asked me to have something else or leave as they need the table for the rush.

I’ve visited here 3 times now, and have never been disappointed. A cosy and friendly little cafe, with a large choice and variety of food. The food is very tasty and is fantastic value for money. This place needs more recognition and more people need to know about it as it really is brilliant!

I had a train delay so went here for breakfast. Very friendly and efficient and a good range of things to choose from, with nice coffee. All served quickly - a very good café .

Often pop in during the week for a full English which is always piping hot. Coffee is a very high standard in that it is not weak like a Costa coffee. Always have a nice chat with Jacqui about the state of the world.

Quite often go here for a breakfast bap. Very good value. Think full English a little pricey. Great to have tea in a pot with leaves!! Lovely fresh flowers on the table. Little things but how nice.

This was the best full English I’ve had in years, not the cheapest but terrific food, beautifully cooked and served all piping hot, coffee was great too. The cafe has a lovely ambience and the young lady serving on Saturday was amazing.

I tried to work here on Monday, I had some dirty looks from the owner the whole time I was there. After an hour and a half, despite ordering two drinks already, I was asked to leave as she needed the table (still pretty much empty)

Came here a few times now. Food is always amazing. Good coffee and amazing customer service by the owner. Even tho my baby can be a pain sometimes. He was always accommodated and looked after. By the way waiting time for food is minimal. Perfection ♥️

we went here on a recent trip to the races, its just across from the railway station.very welcoming brilliant breakfast with the daily newspapers available to browse through whilst waiting. nice choice of breakfast and a good location.

As this is our favourite cafe in Cheltenham, in fact in Gloucestershire we decided to hold our pre Christmas dinner here, with 14 of our friends.

Twice I’ve stopped here now as great location and friendly staff, coffee very good and breakfast is delicious good portion sizes and lots of options, cracking English breakfast. Perfect before you get on the train or after as it’s million times better than transport coffee and food.

We decided to try this place for takeaway baguettes for our train journey to Manchester as our normal place now only serves panini. Our egg & cress baguettes were freshly made and very well filled. Certainly a place to which we’ll return.

What a fantastic place this could be! Really close to station, great breakfast. But has incessant radio blaring out two different stations in kitchen and eating area, both making the most awful din.

Very good coffee and very good, huge cake. Nice staff. Airy interior with tables of varying sizes and a number of tables outside.

We got to Cheltenham to catch a train, and someone at the station recommended Madison's for breakfast. We are so glad we asked! I had the scrambled eggs and toast, and my husband had the full fry. Very reasonable price, and the service was quick and friendly. We were served quickly, and the food was top notch.

Called in while off to the railway station for a long journey north. After visiting a different cafe near by which I know to be slow, yet well frequented, Called at this cafe. It served s range of breakfasts and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. was my choice. The staff were very helpful, well versed with the menu and turned around a quick breakfast at a reasonable price. Certainly recommend a visit if your passing.

Out of the train station for a full English and we were not disappointed. Superb - best fry up we have had. Excellent bacon, really tasty sausages. Great start to a day of racing!

My niece and I had lunch here before she took the train and were pleased to find such a well managed café with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, good coffee and super friendly staff! And so conveniently situated for any rail travellers! This is a great discovery and I will recommend to friends!

Good coffee, always hot. Cakes amazing. Every meal I have had here exceptional with nice little touches.If this cafe were in the centre of Cheltenham you would have difficulty in getting in because of the high standard of everything.

The Americano tastes great. The recent little tweaks to the layout have added a bit more character. Cakes are superb. Support your local independent!

Madison's cafe is within easy walking distance of Cheltenham Railway Station and the perfect place to pop out to in between train journeys if you have 20 minutes.

If you're in Cheltenham and near the train station definitely worth popping in for food. Swift service, decent food and all with a smile. Thoroughly recommended and you even get a car thrown in for free! Go visit!

This cafe is a little gem. Great coffee which is essential and a great range of food. We seem to always pop in for either my favourite, the full English, or Mrs. W' s, the sausage and bacon sandwich. The food is cooked fresh to order, good quality ingredients, presented really well and such good value for money.

after a hard mornings bit of graft my stomach rumbled and i was craving a breakfast ,so i popped into madisons cafe in cheltenham ,lovely interiors .i oredered my breakfast and within around 8 minutes it was on my table passed to be by a very attractive waitress .a few mouthfuls in and i could tell this was going to be the best breakfast i have ever eaten so top marks the coco cola wasn't bad either .the breakfast was almost as tasty as the waitress

Popped in here between trains as it is so close to Cheltenham station. In fact we were going to the other cafe nearby but saw that had a queue out the door and this was virtually empty.

A short walk from Cheltenham Spa railway station, this is a lovely little café that served a superb jacket potato (obviously freshly cooked) with coronation chicken filling. The staff were really friendly too. A wide range of herbal teas was very welcome, as was the glass of cider to start with. Highly recommended - just a shame it closed at 4pm!

Had a pleasant lunch here today (7th Oct) with my girlfriend. In a good location just opposite the train station, friendly staff and very clean. Can buy a selection of toasties, panini's, sandwiches and jacket potatoes to takeaway and eat in, as well as hot drinks. I had the coronation chicken jacket - good portion for £4.95 and excellent filling. My girlfriend had the ham, mozzarella and mushroom panini and enjoyed too. Definitely will return in the future to sample some of the other items including breakfast

I popped in as I was getting a train and had some time to spare. So pleased I did much better than the alternatives around. I ordered a baguette and it was made and wrapped, plenty of filling inside crispy granary bread. There was also a selection of cakes and bakes on offer. A great lunchtime spot.

This is a great cafe with a really good menu and freshly baked cakes. Lots of breakfast and lunch options and delicious milkshakes. It's a lovely place to meet friends for coffee or as a treat with children (there are games and books to keep them occupied). The service is consistently excellent. Worth being early for your train (it's just opposite the station).

I liked the brownie. It was really good. It was made of chocolate. Snickers was nice also, don't know how they made it. The chili-con-carne was amazing.

As good as the previous place that was here. Lots of nice cakes and drinks, and a varied set of snacks on the wall board. Great service from the two girls at the counter
