Emma was wonderful and the food was great

Breakfast was luke warm at best this seems to be the case with alot of mainland Europeans chef snwho have no clue what the word hot means really disappointed and dissatisfied won't be recommended to anyone by me orange juice also tasted very funny

Went in for dinner and came out very pleased. The food was beautifully cooked I had sea bass and the portion and taste was perfect I left feeling full and happy. The staff were very friendly it was a lovely vibe 10/10 will recommend. I’ll be back for date night

Wonderful place to eat. We ordered 2 breakfasts and they came within 10 minutes even though they were very busy. We were served by Emma who was so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We were also lead to our table straight away by another member of staff. Will definitely be eating here again. Great value for money.

I come to revival frequently as it's my favourite local place to eat. The price is more than affordable, the food is always lovely and the service is great. I've been coming here for many years back when it was Poppins, before being rebranded to revival, and I'm sure I'll keep coming back :)

We arrived after the kitchen closed and the owner was lovely in allowing us to stay and eat anyway. The food was very good and the owner was utterly charming. This saved our night after wandering around trying to find somewhere to eat and failing. We had a really enjoyable time here and would recommend.

We recently had lunch here, and it was an experience worth sharing. The meal was nothing short of exceptional, both in flavour and value. We ordered the grill mixt and shepherd’s pie, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The grill mixt was a hearty selection of perfectly cooked meats, each bursting with flavour. The shepherd's pie, rich and comforting, had a beautifully seasoned filling topped with a golden, fluffy mash – the very definition of a classic done right. But the true highlights of our meal were the desserts. The apple pie was a delightful blend of sweet and tart, with a flaky, buttery crust that was simply irresistible. The carrot cake was moist and perfectly spiced, with a cream cheese frosting that added the perfect touch of indulgence. It was the cherry on top of an already satisfying meal. Adding to the experience was the service – attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Have eaten here before , always good previously . This time , my husbands gammon was the usual high standard, but my chicken burger was dry,tasteless, with barely any salad . The lovely waitress was disappointed for me , as we enjoy eating here, but I left the restaurant still hungry, as I couldn’t eat all my food . I will stick to my usual favourites in future . The chicken skewers are reliably good !

Just happened to stop by for lunch and was not disappointed. We had the lasagna and Burger and both were great. The owner was super friendly and chatty and helped make the experience a very positive one. Great place.

My family and I visited Revival for a quick lunch snack before we went to a nearby escape room- it was excellent! The restaurant looked newly refurbished, with plenty of seating (both indoor and outdoor) lovely big windows, and an open kitchen! It was really nice to be able to see our food being made as we sat and waited. All of the tables were clean, and we were waited on well during our visit. Revival offer a range of hot drinks, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks- there is truly something for everyone. Similarly, the menu also offered a wide selection of hot and cold meals such as sandwiches, omelettes, pub classics, and salads. Furthermore, they offer a variety of daily/weekly specials which can be seen just above the kitchen. I opted for a coronation chicken toastie, which was served alongside a dressed salad. There was an option to upgrade to fries also for a supplementary cost. The coronation chicken was marvellous. The chicken chunks were tender, coated in a delicious coronation sauce, served on perfectly toasted bread. The side salad was dressed in a combination of balsamic vinegar and a pesto olive oil which gave it a really delicious flavour. My family had a ham and cheese omelette and chips, a bacon and cheese toastie with dressed side salad, and a cream tea- all of which received high praise! Our waitress for our meal was lovely also, she ensured everything was ok with our food and that we were well looked after during our visit. Excellent service! All the staff in the restaurant were lovely for that matter. Overall a 10/10 experience, good portion sizes, tasty food, and wonderful service. What more could you want!

We went in the afternoon around 4 for some coffee and cake there. Coffee was alright and the chocolate cake was dry, stale and overly sweet! We couldn't eat it and I wouldnt recommend their cakes at all The sweet potato fries were great and the service was friendly and prompt

Visiting Cheltenham for a weekend away, we enjoyed an excellent sirloin steak dinner, fantastic service, friendly staff. Pleasant, relaxed environment. Excellent value, definitely recommend.

We stopped here for lunch and had a coronation chicken baguette and a tuna sandwich. The worst we have had, lack of filling, dry and poor value for money. I don’t mention it til I left cos I couldn’t be bothered with the fuss but I did inform them of my disappointment. Baffled me how this place is number 1 on trip advisor.

Visited this place a couple of days back. Food was okay. But then things went downhill. We ordered a chicken english breakfast, the server came up with vegetarian. When we said we ordered a chicken, she rolled her eyes and was so disrespectful. My mom by mistake spilled her smoothie. No server came up with a set of tissues or roll to wipe that up real quick. We had to ask them for one, while I could see them having a little giggle around the corner. Awful service, no thank you’s, no greetings. Super disrespectful

Food was quick, hot and delicious

It was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. We've walked past Revival Cafe Bar & Grill many times, yet we've never ventured inside until this weekend. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon in March. There was a friendly greeting at the door, and we were shown to a table for four on the first floor. The restaurant was nicely decorated, it was very clean and there were no tables with dead cups, trays or plates. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The menu is quite extensive, with breakfast served all day. Prices are very reasonable and the servings are pretty generous. Our drinks arrived first shortly, followed by our meals. All hot & as ordered. The food was good. I had the sausage baguette £4.50 whilst my wife had beans in toast and my daughter a bacon baguette. The food was simple and inexpensive. Payment was straightforward, and as we left, we were thanked for our visit. Good straightforward reasonably priced simple food, not fancy. Sitting upstairs seemed better to me, spacious and lighter and not so tightly packed in. The USP of this place are their all day cooked breakfasts. We came here six months ago and had eggs benedict and it was unbelievably good. Our latest trip to Cheltenham we had a sandwich and it was pretty plain and something you could have easily made at home, which was disappointing. Definitely worth having a cooked breakfast here. Smoothies are decent as well.

Absolutely disgusted as ordered food for lunch and expected delivery within 20 minutes (only round the corner from the shop making the food) No food arrived - called shop who said to ring customer services - no customer service telephone number and refund will take up to 7 days

Delivery time kept changing. Ordered at 17.00 Was supposed to arrive at 17.40 but didn't come until 18.56. poor service on justeats part !

Came to Cheltenham for a couple days to celebrate my birthday, started my birthday off with an English breakfast - of course. We were served straight away by very polite waitresses, our breakfast came very promptly and was delicious 😋 the sausages and bacon🥓 were my favourite part 🙌🏼

It was cosy and warm (cold night) and they served me a great steak. It has comfortable seating and good service so I reckon it deserves 4 stars. I nearly dropped them a star because they served a Gin & Tonic for my wife without lemon (had to ask) and there was no alternative to slimline tonic (yuk). I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time but if it happens again, definitely going down a star.

Very friendly and welcoming. Super quick service. Good plentiful breakfast. Fresh produce. It was also nice to see the owner shaking hands with regulars, making chat with customers and keeping an eye on the running of the restaurant. We will be returning for breakfast in the future.

Revival is an amazing experience , my friend and I had two pizzas a side on onion rings and a side salad,I love how good the food looked and tasted and the portions where perfect for just the two of us and as a highlight of the occasion the service was out of this world as the staff where super friendly and caring toward me and my friend. 10/10 can’t recommend enough.

Visited 15 October 2023, reserved a table for 7 to celebrate a double birthday lunch. Great selection of food and good value, really pleasant atmosphere and staff were just lovely, kind and courteous. I booked this based on reviews from others and because they offered gluten free options. Will definitely visit again.

Wandered in for brunch. Had the eggs Benedict...probably the best poached eggs I've eaten.

The food was delicious, the eggs were done really nicely , the hash browns were lovely and crispy…it’s also nice to have 2 pieces of toast to mop everything up. The staff were very friendly and were impressively quick and attentive given how busy it was - the place was packed. Really nice atmosphere inside, you walk past the kitchen and it feels clear that it’s the local for a lot of people.

Found this whilst searching for cafes in cheltenham and liked the variety of choice available on the menu and as an added bonus to have halal options too. Relaxed ambience, friendly staff and we both enjoyed our brunch which was well presented. My friend really enjoyed her breakfast and in particular the chicken sausages. We will defo be back!

Went in for breakfast for the first time ever. They have a good range of options. Food was lovely and hot. Tea was hot. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will try to go back when in town.

We'd been recommended this by the father-in-law, who had highly recommended the location. As it was my 50th, we decided to give it a go, and for the food, everyone was very much "meh, it's okay I suppose". The staff were excellent, accomodating and very much on the ball, we barely waited for service, we turned up 30 minutes early for our booking and really made an effort to get us sorted. 5/5 stars for the staff, they were excellent. Really pleasant, willing to listen and make changes to the order (can we have sweet potato fries instead of "normal" fries, for example). The food was okay. It wasn't anything special, it wasn't amazing, it was okay. I'd ordered the lamb burger, for £12. It was what it said on the menu. A lamb burger with a few fries. It had the sauce that was mentioned, but no garnish, no "extras" (tomato, lettuce, pickles). Like, for the same price, we could have a 5 Guys. The food wasn't bad, absolutely fine, but much a Maccies, you get what's listed on the menu, no frills, nothing fancy. If you want a nice evening out with reasonable food, this'll do you sound. If you want "fancy" try somewhere else. For reference, they did have to service 13 of us (many friends), so whether that had an effect, I don't know. Would go again, but would be more selective about what I ordered.

We came across this place on way to somewhere else caught our eye as it was so busy. To our surprise it also had gluten free options was nice to have a normal breakfast at a normal price

sirloin steak perfectly cooked very well presented. gammon steak,egg, pineapple, peas and chip very well presented. midday meal with a glass of melbec. basic surroundings bordering on industrial. staff very pleasant and two breakfast for the price of one deal on at the moment. toilets upstairs.

I went with my wife and 2 members of our family for dinner. We had a lovely warm welcome and exceptional service all evening. Our meals were all outstanding in the quality of ingredients, preparation and presentation. The meal excelled in every way and the prices are much less than comparable restaurants in Cheltenham. We will all return and highly recommend this restaurant.
