Having just got back from travelling SE Asia we were on the hunt for a good pad Thai. The Vine did not disappoint such a good pad Thai and will definitely be visiting again!

Came on the early dinner about 5ish .£ 4.50 for all drinks I think I m right in saying, great menu the food was excellent and a great atmosphere. Hopefully going again tomorrow

Stunning food. Ask for it spicy and be warned, it will be spicy! Never known a place do spicy and still keep so much flavour. Incredible.

We come regularly and decided on an early diner and took advantage of the happy hour diner menu. Red curry was fantastic so was the Panang.

Everything about the Vine was perfect. The atmosphere was lively and exciting with their own private DJ booth providing fun music. The food was absolutely delicious and delivered quickly, despite catering to a group of 20 of us. They were also very understanding and flexible with how we paid in such a large group. The service was outstanding and we felt very looked after. I would highly recommend this place.

What an excellent find. Essentially a dining pub serving Thai food. Excellent food. Excellent service. Dog friendly.

The food was incredible and the service was great - really welcoming and friendly and it's brilliant they allow (& welcome) dogs. Atmosphere is cosy especially after the update. Love that they only serve local beers. Can't recommend this place enough!

Staff are (mostly) lovely! I think I caught one on a bad day... The thai food is fantastic, the seating options are wonderful, and they have a great drink selection. It is also beautiful and well kept inside. Great choice!

Lovely Thai food! Even for people that have actually been to Thailand. I love their Sunday roast too, best I've had in the area. Pretty good selection of beers too and lovely staff.

We phoned this Restaurant to try to make a booking for two people and were told unless it was for 4 they didn't take a booking.We should just turn up. We turned up and did not feel welcomed at all. yes they were busy but a sorry we hope to get you at a table in 30 mins or so would have been ok. But we were told to go to the bar three other couples were waiting and they had no idea how long we would have to wait. Not feeling we were valued as customers we decided to leave and lucky for us a few doors up the road was another Thai "Restaurant" not a pub selling Thai food. We ate there and will go back there with our friends and parties of 6 at times so the moral of this review is treat every customer as a valuable asset and just because there are only two on one occasion there may be many more visits with many more people sadly not at this place look elsewhere we did and are pleased we did

We had a chance to visit the Vine, it was so nice and cool. Food is so delicious and we will defiantly go back. Great service and a pleasure atmosphere.

This is a lovely place. The building itself is a cosy and interesting place with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are fab, hard working and friendly. We visited during Race week so it was absolutely packed but staff were efficient and didn’t appear too stressed. Food was outstanding, fresh and plenty of choice on the menu. I went with friends but would visit with my husband and family, perfect place for all occasions. Would definitely go again and will be recommending to others too. Thank you to the Vine for a perfect evening :)

Lovely pub, food was excellent , staff were very pleasant and the service was spot on. Good choice of food on the menu, found it hard to choose.

Visiting family we needed a restaurant where our dog was able to join us. As soon as I read about the Vine being a lover of Thai food the choice was made. A warm friendly welcome, for us and our dog, drinks chosen, with a nice wine list, a good menu , we soon made our selections. Everything was very enjoyable. Freshly cooked, with tweaks to one of the chosen dishes for a fussy husband. Will happily come here again.

Nice Cosy Pub just on the edge of 'Nam

Another great visit, this time in a big group. Staff were lovely, and food was tasty (though maybe a little mild). The front room was a bit noisy, maybe because of all the hard surfaces. The bar area seemed much quieter, even with more people!

We went for a family dinner and enjoyed the experience. Great pub with excellent Thai food and very dog friendly. Reasonably priced drinks and very good friendly service. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous food and beer! We had the lamb rendang and the sweet and sour mixed vegetable stir fry. The Deya brewery beer and the laser juice beer were very drinkable too! Very prompt service on a busy Saturday night, and a very friendly set of staff too. We will be back

What a fabulous evening we just had. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Two of our party are gluten intolerant and the staff double checked and changed a few things so we all had the meals we wanted. They also had a great range of alcohol free beer. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant Thai restaurant situated in an old pub with lots of original features retained. Food was absolutely fantastic quality and a fair price. Great range of craft ales too. Staff all very friendly and the service was great.

An lovely pub for an lovely drink

Updated review having visited 3-4 times over 2 years. Having changed from restaurant to more pub it's less cosy. On our previous visit we had the sharing platter which was just tasteless, deep fried mediocre. This time went for more traditional curries and there was far better quality and flavour. Unfortunately, we weren't acknowledged on arrival. Not given any menu until asking at the bar. Had to go to the bar again to order drinks and food and then again to pay, yet you're still asked to tip which seems quite cheeky when only food was brought out from the kitchen.

I love The Vine! The food is really delicious, the staff and atmosphere are really welcoming and the karaoke night is something I look forward to all month. Great place, well worth a visit if you're in Cheltenham.

Perhaps the most disappointing Thai meal we’ve ever had…… chicken satay was, I suspect, cheap preformed chicken and the penang curry was very watery and over sweet my pad Thai was ok but the tofu was so greasy I couldn’t eat it What a shame as due so many good reviews, we thought we were in for a treat We won’t go back

Fantastic little pub with lots of character. The staff are super friendly and the choice of great tasting beers is extensive. Wonderful Thai food as well so we will definitely be coming back. Big car park very close by.

Laid back friendly atmosphere, with amazing LOCAL craft drinks and outstanding authentic Thai food. Expect low lighting, candles, loud Reggae music and a ton of atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing little pub, it's a beautifully lush green building on the outside and an amazingly cozy dark green on the inside, they have a ton of beers to choose from both alcoholic and non alcoholic, some of the best all natural wines I've tried in a while that said even just trying the food spoke for itself it was that good, it came out super fast too, I couldn't believe it haha. The service was fast and the bartenders were happy to chat. All around amazing place can't recommend enough🤭🤗

Google said craft beer pub. Is not. However, lovely smell of Thai food and ok beer. Docked one star as not craft beer and another because lighting just too dark.

My partner chose a meal that was too hot for him to eat - he had been warned but he does love spicy food and thought he would be fine, but no! The Vine staff and chefs were very kind (and non-judgemental) and brought him another dish with less heat which was delicious and he was happy. We really appreciated their service and look forward to going there again.

We were staying overnight in Cheltenham and spotting a sign outside stating ‘Thai food and cask ale’, with that we were drawn in. We certainly were not disappointed, warm and friendly service from the off. The Thai food was great and having spent several months in Thailand I hope that I’m well placed to judge. Great atmosphere and we felt very well looked after by the staff. We’ll definitely visit again if we are ever in Cheltenham.

What a place! Been here numerous times for their delicious Thai food but on this occasion we held our sons 2nd birthday party here on a sunday. Was an amazing Sunday dinner! Potatoes were crispy and fluffy and the beef melted in your mouth. We had exclusive use of the ‘snug’ and even had decorations. Nothing was too much bother for the staff, they were absolutely amazing and accommodating. They really can cater for anyone and everyone and any occasion. Can’t recommend enough if you are looking for a small, intimate party or a nice date night!

Great food in a friendly venue. Well priced, well spiced. It’s a lovely informal Thai restaurant. Good service. The Vine is a pub….but it’s so much more that a boozer. Good drink variety. It’s we established, and we’ll regarded. Not a gamble!

Wow!! Incredible atmosphere, amazing staff, great food and highly recommended it!!! We came for the happy hours and it was nice to see menu items being cheaper! The green thai curry was incredible and the starter was awesome too! The pad thai could have had toufu rather than fried dry tofu but still great! Having prawn option would have even made it better. The venu was great and it really transformed you into another world from the outside :) would love to go again!

Group of three lads over from Ireland for race week. What a lovely restaurant & bar in a great central location. Race week in Cheltenham so the town was busy & we were lucky to get dinner & breakfast reservations. Thai meal was really good, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, we had the half English which was very good & all meals & drinks were priced reasonably. However the best part of the experience was meeting the owner Marcus who was an absolute gentleman & couldn’t help us enough, very friendly & took time out to chat even though it was a busy time for him. The Vine is perfect for drinks & meals & a cosy atmosphere, would highly recommend We are already looking forward to visiting next March during race week

The Vine is rightfully renowned for its excellent Thai food; and the new offering of a Sunday roast dinner is totally in keeping with its fine reputation. Very generous portions, cooked to perfection: the beef was cooked with real care and a wide selection of vegetables added to a tremendous dish. The vegetarian options also looked equally impressive. I’d also recommend one of the many delicious wines that have also been added to their repertoire!

Lovely pub. They do Sunday Roasts now, and (no surprise to anyone that's tried the Thai food there) they're absolutely brilliant. Great range of beers too.

Lovely Sunday roast at The Vine, the best cauliflower cheese! Tender beef, crispy roast potatoes and perfect veg and lashings of gravy. Great atmosphere and attentive service, nothing too much trouble. Apple crumble and custard for desert, perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
