The Find in Cheltenham

Delicious for breakfast. Really lovely service. Would recommend.

Its taken me a while to write this because its been difficult to find the words to express how truly amazing the team are at The Find! Meg and Gino hosted a surprise birthday party for my wife, we worked together on designing the perfect night for her for about 6 months. Hiring out the entire event with a custom canapé menu and welcome drinks, we were also allowed to add suitable decorations. The food was outstanding and delicious. The drinks, cocktails and coffee were incredible The service was on point, we felt like royalty I truly could not ask for more. So if you want a quick coffee, cheeky cocktail, breakfast, dinner or a full on party. I cannot recommend The Find enough!

Visited for lunch with friends for the first time, and was blown away be the delightful, friendly staff, the chilled, positive atmosphere, and the tasty food. I had a mushroom Florentine eggs, mushroom and spinach in a toasted muffin. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. I also had a mango and strawberry smoothie, given a kick by a pinch of ginger and a little bit of mint. Very tasty. I'd highly recommend this cafe and would visit again in a heartbeat.

It has been always nice good and lovely staffs. Ever since I came to cheltenham I fell in love with this place. I really hope their business goes well. Never disappointed with their amazing coffee. Xx

Quite literally a great find in Cheltenham. It isn’t the cheapest place, but the food is excellent quality!

Very friendly service. The bacon bap, with delicious Korean ketchup, was of exceptional quality.

Just recently ’found’ The Find’ been twice now, great food, great atmosphere!

went a month ago and the order (cappuccino) was lost due to a ‘system’ issue. I waited and waited… 18 mins. I could see the staff were busy in The restaurant, coming and going with orders and a few takeaway orders but the person who took the order manning the coffee machine had no external radar for customer awareness that the person sat waiting on the large fabric chairs was sitting without anything. Anyway manageress offered a refund and a free voucher which I finally used today. Todays review: On coffee it was really good. If you are looking for a double coffee experience visit both the Find ✅and next door the dispensary ✅

Visited for the first time today. It's literally a lovely 'find'. Had brunch with my mother today with a glass of fizz. Will definitely be returning with more family members very soon. Staff advised worth booking ahead if you are planning lunch. Otherwise, no real need too.

Great breakfast, we had the eggs Bennie. Good sized portions, reasonably priced and lovely hollandaise sauce. Coffee was excellent too, great to see so many local suppliers on the menu!

Great service on a weekly basis from Anya Gino And Megan (No favourite order). Gluten free cakes get me out of the trouble with the other half too so always grateful for that. Will stay loyal to the find!

I visit Cheltenham several times a year and I asked my daughter, who lives locally, if she could recommend a place where I could get a nice salad for lunch instead of always going to the cafe in John Lewis: this is the place she suggested and it didn't disappoint. It's conveniently situated if you're shopping in Cheltenham. There were various salads on offer (amongst other things, but I didn't really look at them tbh as |I knew the kind of thing I wanted.) I chose the Nicoise Salad with salmon and it was really good: generous, freshly made with a bit of imagination, so not "boringly basic." The servers were all friendly, cheerful and professional. The upstairs room was light and airy with tables well spaced, the ambience was quiet and relaxed. Definitely recommended and will go again.

Flawless 5 stars! Hunting for gluten free cake and good coffee is always a challenge we embrace when visiting new cities. The Find is an absolute find! Friendly service, good selection of GF cakes and good options on the main breakfast and lunch menu. Delicious GF cakes - strawberry shortcake and coffee pecan were both delicious. Coffee was perfect. This place does not disappoint and only wish we had this closer to home.

I was seated upstairs and told service will arrive at the table. We waited 25 minutes to not even be spoken to once. Tables around us were served and we were completely ignored. Looked at multiple times without anyone saying anything. Left after 25 minutes of being ignored. All in all 0/10 what a waste of time

This is a lovely cafe/ restaurant offering fantastic food and service. We sat upstairs in a smart relaxed room. Service was perfect from start to finish. The majority of the food is sourced locally. My wife loved her steak and eggs on a muffin whilst my sausage and caramelised onion sandwich was one of the best i have enjoyed. We then shared a Chocolate Flake and custard cruffin made on the premises. Lovely coffee too! Just perfect!

We had an absolutely lovely time at The Find today. Food and service could not have been any better. The portions were massive which was just what we needed! Additionally, all staff were fully aware of my allergens (gluten, soy, and alliums) which was incredibly reassuring. The gluten free bread was super tasty and I wish we had room for some of the incredible looking gluten free cakes too!

Came with a friend for brunch and had a lovely time. The coffee was really nice and the food was good. Busier than expected but the staff were very sweet, only thing is we sat slightly behind the door and I don't they could see us to order food till much later. But that is probably our fault as earthing else was very nice and I recommend. To add you have to go up steps to access the extra seating which was fine for us but might be a slight difficulty in others x

We were recommended this cafe by a local person and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were made very welcome and were given options of where to sit. We came for breakfast around 9.40am. The food was delicious and very plentiful, we were not hungry until dinner that day. We both had The Find breakfast (one normal and one veggie, both very big portions, freshly cooked to perfection). My tea was very good and my husband’s coffee was one of the best he’s had in Cheltenham. Thank you for the delicious food and pleasant service (in fact, my husband was so happy with the service, he even left a tip, which he doesn’t usually do). We’re going back again tomorrow, for another breakfast! (The cakes also looked delicious, but we couldn’t eat another thing, we were so full up. Maybe I’ll try one of their cakes tomorrow).

We have been constantly coming to the Find since last year and we know we will always have amazing and consistently great coffee and food. The service is amazing as well, they always welcome you with a smile and try to find you a table even when it’s busy.

Visited yesterday with my dog, couldn't have asked for better service, every single staff member was so friendly and accommodating. Food was tasty, vibe was great. Would definitely recommend 🙂

I booked The Find as the venue for my partner’s 30th birthday. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had the whole venue on the Saturday evening: 45 guests, welcome drinks, canapés & sliders, decorations, cake etc. Everyone at The Find was absolutely fab. They made the planning process so easy (e.g. David was very helpful in the early stages, explaining menu options etc), they were incredibly accommodating of our preferences, and on the night itself they were absolutely BRILLIANT: Meg, Gino and the team looked after us so well! The food was excellent, the drink options were spot on, the service throughout was both efficient and tremendously friendly. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Thank you to everyone at The Find - my partner absolutely loved her birthday, and arranging it all with you was an absolute pleasure.

Absolutely gorgeous coffee best in Cheltenham!. Nice staff :))

It felt like I was at the wrong place, no resemblance to most of the reviews or recommendations. The room, upstairs, was freezing cold, we all wore our coats throughout lunch. We waited over 40 minutes for our drinks and an hour for our food. The Cajun Chicken had clearly never been in the same room as ‘Cajun honey spice’ and was just bland and over cooked chicken, for £14 both that and the BBQ brisket are massively over priced and what they lack in flavor they don’t make up in any other way. Shame as could be really nice and seems popular but maybe they’ve grown in popularity too quickly and the quality of food and service has suffered.

it's really hard to write this review as my experience food wise, and my partners were the opposite. My avacado with loads of extras was outstanding, he ordered simple sourdough toast, not hard to get right but... he didn't receive his until after mine, it was only half of the serves we ordered, we needed to remind them of the butter and jam... service was slow, but this we were told was the kitchen being busy. they did try but it really lacked the outcome we were hoping. coffee ok, rooms lovely

Although it was Sunday lunch time and it was very busy, the food was incredible! The amount of salmon for eggs royal was very generous :)! The capucchino was lovely and although it felt quite a squeeze overall it was a nice experience. I think either having some fabric on the walls to make it easier to talk when sat down and having more hangers and places to put their clothes, bags would have been better. Would be back!!!

Delicious, healthy food (for all ages!) at reasonable prices; Kind and attentive baristas; Lovely comfortable seats in a relaxing setting (without loud music), great for a good chat or read! ... Plus a beautiful, inviting autumnal display at the moment!

Generally a good experience, however lack of organisation with regards to who was doing what meant that we waited quite a long time to order our food and for both food and drink to arrive. Food was good and obviously excellent quality products are being used. We will visit again next time in Cheltenham and try the cakes as they looked gorgeous!

Just eaten the best buttermilk fried chicken BLT burger ever! Delicious fresh ingredients .. streaky bacon and Swiss cheese inside was amazing! Came with a lovely shredded gem lettuce salad and garlic dressing. Very welcoming staff too. Thank you!

A great independent cafe with a wonderful menu. Nice to be able to choose from counter service downstairs and table service upstairs. I will be back.

I’m delighted that we found The Find for lunch yesterday! This is a lovely cafe/restaurant and all of the staff who looked after us were great. The menu is extensive and we were completely spoilt for choice. We plumped for the cajun chicken pittas and the chorizo hash. Both were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes extremely generous. We also had a couple of excellent smoothies and a lovely cappuccino to finish. A great place to visit for lunch - I would definitely recommend to anyone.

There are lots of great places for coffee and food in Cheltenham, which means, if you want repeat custom, you have to do a good job. Waited 15 minutes to be seated in what turned out was an empty room bar two occupied tables. Then waited 10 minutes to be served (when you’ve stood waiting 15 already, you know what you want when seated as you’ve had ample time to look at the menu). Waited 15 for food, which is good, but wasn’t served our coffee until half way through the meal and about 25 mins in. It’s just not acceptable to wait 25 mins for two cappuccino! Nowt to dash back for. When you have such stiff competition in a town, this kind of lacklustre service will take its toll. As a suggestion, I’d like the chef to make and eat a portion of the mushrooms on toast. Then make changes as necessary. It’s far too oily and way over seasoned and too many mushrooms. It’s not a pleasant plate of food.

SO GOOD! I’m an Aussie just passing through Cheltenham, but wanted a good coffee and some breakky. The avocado toast with poached eggs, burrata, and tomato salsa was amazing. The staff were also lovely and my food and drink were brought out so quickly!!

We visited for a late brunch. I had a lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and my girlfriend had the mango and passion fruit smoothie. Both lovely. We also had their bbq beef brisket eggs Benedict which was a bit different but very tasty and a great portion. Staff very friendly and helpful too. I will return!

This is my go-to place for brunch in Cheltenham. Great menu (which is all locally sourced), service, and atmosphere. It’s always busy so you may have to wait a short while but it’s worth it in my opinion. The coffee here is delicious and very aesthetically pleasing. I also recommend the granola.

The food was amazing! You could tell it had been freshly made - the perfect brunch. We also loved the crockery! The Atmosphere was really inviting and the staff were really friendly.

I had to drop my car into the mechanics halfway through a long journey, googled ‘gluten free Cheltenham’ and this was one of the top most choices. The Find was the best… Find(!)… I could have found! They have a brilliantly varied menu and as a Coeliac, sometimes finding gluten free places can be so hard. Straight from checking their website and the menu outside, I could see that I would be catered for. From checking past reviews from other coeliacs, I could tell I’d also be in good hands in terms of knowledge of cross contamination. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and an incredible pink lemonade slice of cake. It was like no other gluten free cake I’d tasted, just stunning! The interior and exterior is quirky, modern and the music and atmosphere add to the chilled out vibe. Thank you to the kind and attentive waitresses and the bakers and baristas for the delicious cake and coffee, I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Cheltenham is rich on choices for cafes and brunch. The Find is very popular for good reason. Wonderful service including managing the walk-in queue. Food simply excellent and wonderful coffee.

We popped in here for a late lunch & had a fabulous meal! We both had the all day brunch with mashed advocado, mine with salmon & hubby's with crispy bacon along with a side a sweet potato fries! Scrumptious! I also had a lovely oat milk flat white, quite simply one of the nicest cups of coffee Iver had! Hubby had a Mango Lassi which was delicious! Service was very quick, lovely friendly, helpful staff. A great experience from start to finish!

What a brilliant café bistro right in the heart of Cheltenham. We have been to this place on a number of occasions over the years and through different owners but our late lunch visit was so good I feel I have to do a review! You can sit outside, but the inside has tables over 3 floors each with its own character. We went up to the first floor for our meal and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The staff are super and looked after us really well. I had the smashed advocado on sourdough toast with two poached eggs, streaky bacon and a side of sweet potato chips and a Mango Lassi milkshake. To be honest, I have not had better anywhere. It was delicious and the portion sizing meant I didn't need to eat again that day!! That was a shame, because the cakes looked stunning but I would have exploded if I'd attempted one! Shame. Next time I'll try and leave room. It has a license and so serves wine, beer and cocktails too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Lovely food, great staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Long wait, expensive and pretentious. Over complicated dishes which should be simple like croque monsieur. You could only taste the mustard there was soo much of it. Restaurant and toilets were both very clean and the staff were very friendly, however we won’t be back.

We had a lovely experience at The Find this week. There’s a great selection of food, which is very tasty, decent portion sizes and a great temperature, a great selection of drinks, and the service was brilliant; very quick, attentive and friendly. The decor is welcoming and comfortable, and the whole establishment was clean and bright.

This cafe /restaurant is on three floors in the heart of Cheltenham. We went today Saturday 08.07.23 for lunch at 1.00pm, it was very busy, we had a short wait before being seated, we were told the kitchen was backed up and they apologised for the wait, but were bought drinks straight away. I had Eggs Royale which was exceptional. My friend had Croque Monsieur which she said was scrumptious. We were served by Ella who was a lovely young girl who was personable and attentive and kept giving us updates. We had a ginger beer and a cappuccino before our lunch and another cappuccino afterwards because the coffee was wonderful, probably the best cappuccino I have ever had. The proprietor was really friendly greeting everyone and managing the queue and table allocations. We spent a lovely leisurely two hours here, and complimented the chef on our way out. The atmosphere was great, whilst very busy it was running like a well oiled machine. We will definitely be going again.

The Cafe was perfect for me and my girlfriend to have lunch at. Very inviting, friendly, and social atmosphere, assisted by George the waiter, made our experience the best it could be. We were very pleased. A more than fair price too, was more than happy to tip too. I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

The Cafe is perfect for Couples, Solo and family dining. It serves great food at a very fast rate. The staff were amazing, very accommodating, friendly and happy to help with any requests. George was our waiter and couldn’t have been any friendlier, and helpful in our time there. I would happily recommend this establishment to anybody and everybody

To be honest I’m being a little generous with 3 stars. It was a disappointment today. Two staff members advised us of 10 minute wait - the second advice was actually after 10 minutes. In total we stood for 25 minutes in your corridor until we were invited up the stairs to take a table. Sooo disappointed that you think keeping customers standing for 25 minutes in the corridor was acceptable when the dining room turned out to be 2/3rds empty. Why would you think that was ever going to be acceptable? Only two people had left in the time we were stood in the corridor so it was empty all along. We had waited an hour in total before we actually received our food order. Which brings me to the next disappointment- the food. My wife has a gluten intolerance and ordered a sausage bap which came as a gluten free option of a couple of slices of not particular nice bread. The sausage was nice and the side order of fries. The days of accepting a poor GF option surely are gone! There are some lovely GF rolls and breads out there. Mine was worse though. I chose the beef brisket eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was the saving grace as the poached eggs were hard boiled with no runny yolk what’s so ever and the dreadful beef was grossly overcooked/heated. I ate as much as I could with the help of the hollandaise but some of it was completely inedible. It would have been great if our server had shown an ounce of interest and asked if everything was alright or if we enjoyed our meal as she cleared our plates away but nothing. Just as a thought, if you gave customers the choice to sit at an empty table but wait to place a food order instead of being kept standing in the corridor it would be a good thing. Look at the opportunity to sell more drinks whilst people are waiting. We for one would have gladly ordered more. Customer service isn’t difficult guys but you do need to have a rethink!

Had breakfast but disappointed with the standard. Slimy Mushrooms and 4 pieces of streaky bacon cooked as one. Middle two slices underdone. For £14.95 expect at least Back bacon.

Fabulous, jovial and candid service with great food. What’s not to like? Our group of seven were uniformly happy with our food.

Came for lunch with friends. Very friendly, hardworking, efficient staff. The menu was varied and we chose the buttermilk chicken burger, falafel pitta and Cajun chicken pittas. All were perfect and good sized portion. Very tasty and all our plates were finished! We had a bottle of wine which was lovely and a cocktail and coffee to finish. They had run out of aperol spritz but came and chatted to us and gave us various options for another cocktail. The alternative, toffee apple vodka and ginger ale was fabulous! Will definitely be back and would recommend.

We went for an afternoon tea today. It was the worst one we have ever had. They are not selling what they are advertising! Also they need to use better cleaning products that do not smell of strong disinfectant while you are trying to eat. The website is misleading the interior is not as presented on the website. They don’t even offer the tipsy teapots. No sausage rolls or scotch eggs as stated on the menu. The cakes were not fresh. Absolutely awful. So disappointed!

Great food that looks amazing, fantastic service and friendly, helpful staff

Staff very welcoming and efficient; you can see they’re working hard. Queued for approx 15mins to get a table but they kept you updated. Poached eggs looked amazing but were disappointing and not runny. Chicken/bacon burger tasty. Wouldn’t rush back which seems a shame as reviews on google looked pretty good. A little overpriced for what we had. I also dislike dogs being allowed in the cafe area but this is pretty common now in many other places.

A welcome find, both by name and metaphorically, in an elegant street with half a dozen cafes to choose from. I chose lucky with a delicious cortado and friendly service. Pity I didn’t have time to taste the extensive menu.

Very friendly service but the decor gives community centre cafe vibes. The food was extremely bland and underseasoned but a good portion and came out fast. Coffees were good, although for two coffees and two breakfasts I did pay almost £50.

Waited a very long time for a table then a very long time for food. Yes, it was a bank holiday weekend, but other places in town had clearly been staffed adequately and prepared well for the increase in custom. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait, poached eggs were hard in the middle. Good service and good coffee but this did not mitigate for a poor overall experience.

PLEASE DO NOT SERVE OLD FERMENTED FOOD - Unfortunately our breakfast was not very nice. We had smoked salmon and avocado bap. As I worked my way through the bap I thought there was an odd taste, my friend tried it but we couldn’t quite work it out. Then I tasted it again and had to spit it out. The avocado was fizzing on my tongue. They had served old fermented avocado. I told a staff member. A refund was not offered. I asked for a glass of water as I felt a bit sick. Not once did the member of staff come over to our table to see if everything was ok. Very odd customer service. I have since emailed The Find and telephones them. No reply! We would never return again. Please do not serve old food to your customers.

Visited The Find for a colleagues baby shower - afternoon tea. LOTS of good quality tasty FOOD - we all managed to waddle back to our cars with doggie bags! Brilliant service too. Would thoroughly recommend!

We went for breakfast this morning. We ordered coffee, avocado on toast with poached eggs and bacon. The coffee was lukewarm and most of the avocado on one of the plates was mostly black and was clearly bruised and/or previously frozen or stored too long...

What a great place! We found it by accident but so glad we did. Lovely, friendly atmosphere and great food. Will def return when we’re in Cheltenham next.

There’s a reason there’s a queue out the door at weekends…. Bloomin amazing food, and decent portions of it (best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had) and staff that I just want to cuddle, they are so genuine and friendly.

Recently diagnosed coeliac I'm starting to find my way. Up to now eating out is a bit daunting, not so at The Find! So much of the menu can be made gluten free, so much choice. Our server was amazing and completely understood my needs.....

Friendly and attentive service. Quality food at reasonable prices. The coffee good and the leaf teas fresh. Don’t get chance to visit as often as we would like but always an enjoyable experience. Personal favourites are the eggs Benedict, Caesar Salad and the wild mushrooms...

Below still stands, but also to add fantastic menu for kids, brilliant and fast service and delicious food. This is *the* best place in Cheltenham for laptop working. Great food and drink, table service when needed, plug sockets everywhere, aircon and super fast wifi.

One of the best chicken & bacon ceasar salads I've ever had in my life. Matched with probably the best lotus biscoff milkshake I've ever had too. Recommend popping in even if its just for some of their cake and a milkshake! 5 out 5!
