Haven’t been here in years as don’t live in Chelts anymore. Still a really reliable great tasting coffee! Highly recommend!

It's a small world, (but you wouldn't want to paint it). Coffee shop on every corner, or mid-street in the case of The Coffee Dispensary. Particularly pleased with the studenty type staff behind the counter. Nice coffee ☕️, but....... you know where this is going. Not as good as my favourite dispenser of caffeine. I'll think I'll dance 🕺 over to it soon. Hope I can remember the steps. Slō, Slō, quick, quick, Slō. That's it!

Really cute cafe with nice decor but the service was cold 🥶 and there was only one vegan option (a cherry tiffin). Coffee was good (30p extra for plant m*lk). Decaf options available.

Got trapped in the toilet because the door is broken. On getting out, the staff member scorned me for going out the fire escape to get attention. Ridiculous.

Wonderful coffee spot - we went in searching for batch brews (as all good Americans do!) which they weren't serving but were happy to make us a couple of pour overs instead; both were very well made and beautifully cupped and had loads of notes/flavors coming through (definitely don't ALWAYS feel pour over is worth the $$ but here it was). Kid friendly with nice selection of bakery goods; plus if you buy a bag of coffee it comes with a free cup! Will be back! Thanks!

Beautiful coffee! You can really tell that they are passionate about delivering a delicious drink to each and every customer. On top of this the staff were incredibly friendly, great service and great product! Would definitely come back 😊

Upstairs and downstairs are separate which is not so good in the rain. Good coffee, average natas and nice downstairs for a quietish catch up with friends

Lovely cosy atmosphere in here. Not to mention the drinks were amazing! The staff were also really friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend if you're out and about and want a coffee in Cheltenham!

Shame. Coffee was burnt. My husband who hates making a fuss took it back as undrinkable. Staff member was sarcastic when he replaced it. "Hope that's less weird". Unpleasant response and not very professional. Won't be returning.

Used to serve the best toasted sandwiches in Cheltenham town centre and was always busy. Went in for lunch yesterday to be told they no longer do sandwiches only cakes etc. The place was quiet at peak lunch time. Major step backwards, we will not return.

Chill little place but quite small. Coffee is not worth the hype I've had better at Starbucks to be honest. Staff aren't very approachable. It's okay

Extremely slow service We waited half an hour for 4 coffees. They all arrived at staggered times, so the first one was cold by the time the last one arrived. Very noisy, we had to shout to hear each other Will not be returning

Merely average. I liked the look and feel of the cafe, but the service was distinctly unfriendly - I definitely got a ‘too cool for school’ vibe from the staff.

Bloody good bag of beans. It's clear these have been freshly roasted. Fresh, depth of flavour and supporting fair trade practices!

I was there to have a relaxing conversation and enjoy the food I must say I was really disappointed from the start when it’s like this I normally just leave as I don’t like to give my money to any kind of bad service From the start I wasn’t greeted properly to the point that my partner has to ask if they were okay The two ladies that were behind the counter could be bothered to make any effort to recommend any food of even a drink when we asked Then we ordered the food but we also ordered the pastry (sausage rolls) which was very dry and no great at all, the drinks were okay but honestly not the best as you can see on the photos Now with the sandwich that we ordered were prepared by a member of staff that she were not happy at all She left the kitchen after making or plating the food and she was on her phone during the preparation not following the basic of food higiene I was actually disappointed and disgusted about it she had her hair a long ponytail too… not even mention that the others that were on their phones behind the counter and doing their hair…cake box on the floor… I do believe people can offer better and with place which is so cosy and beautiful decorated I was nothing but disappointed and disgusting how things were handled

Best coffee in Cheltenham. It's worth waiting for a perfectly crafted coffee. I just miss their old way of doing iced lattes with frozen milk and coffee though!

Prefer to use these independent places rather than the bland chains, such as the Nero opposite and it was a pleasant enough spot to grab a coffee whilst shopping in the centre of Cheltenham. Would not hesitate to return.

We went to order some lunch, to be told the kitchen was closed. So we got some sausage rolls and brownies instead. The table next to us then got up to order 15 mins later, and be able to order from the main menu and have food delivered. Very disappointed.

Great coffee stop in Cheltenham. Pretty cafe and some good seating outside for when the weather is nice. I couldn’t resist the chilli honey sausage roll either which was delicious, excellent quality. Lots of goodies to choose from too. Definitely recommend this place for coffee/lunch in Cheltenham. Service was very good and prices about average.

Amazing cocktails, good wine and mock tails selection plus nibbles available. Worth a visit After Hours. We grabbed some specials of Black Forest Gateaux and a Lemon Cheesecake!!

Really delicious coffee and cake. Good selection of non dairy milk and both vegan and non vegan food. Very friendly and efficient service. Loved it.

Been a loyal custom of TCD since it opened. However on the two previous occasions our drinks or food order has been delivered to other customers. Today we waited 30 mins before enquiring as to the status of our food order. The member of staff said she would find out for us. Ten minutes passed and no further update. Upon asking again at the counter I was informed our order had been delivered to other customers. Fortunately our order finally arrived 45 mins after ordering and the food was lovely. It’s a real shame to have this happen to us twice in recent weeks. TCD did refund us for our order which was gracious of them. However there are a growing number of great cafes in Cheltenham and TCD needs to raise its game if it doesn’t want to loose loyal customers.

I came to Cheltenham for a good coffee and a nice walk. I went to several coffee shops, and I was making reviews about it. Chose this well-known coffee dispensary, top-rated, and have a very good review plus amazing latte arts!. I wouldn't wanna be bothered by other coffee shops around as it is also enticing to come inside Went inside the shop but got confused about here to order as the shop consisted of 2 levels, I decided to go directly to the busy area because that's where the market value is. it was warm and busy. I could see they are also well-staffed, nice and very friendly. I ordered Bacon and Brie, which is my favorite, but it was unavailable, so I chose another one. Cheese and Mozarella and a flat white😁. I sat outside because I was overheating inside the shop. It was windy and sunny at the same time. MY FLAT WHITE WAS SERVED WONDERFULLY. I loved it, and whoever made it, you-are- the-best!!! Your latte art is sexy and the way you made it, it is with passion. I liked the toast as well. 🫠🥰 I loved it here. I'll come back. I dont wanna explain more because I'm bringing my partner here next time 10/10

Came for a drink after work to wind down and absolutely loved it. Charcuterie board was delicious, perfect for a wine and cheese night!

Small but nice little cafe. Vanilla Chai Latte was very tasty and I would recommend the chili chicken sandwich. We grabbed a table as the previous customers were just leaving, the table was cleared and I was hoping it would be cleaned. Ended up waiting a good few minutes and then cleaned it myself with napkins.

Cute cafe, tasty, filling sandwiches. Loved the vanilla chai latte. Only downside was that we got a table that had been vacated and the staff cleared the cutlery but didn't come back to wipe the table so we had to get napkins and wipe it ourselves.

Great food and coffee and have such a lovely attention to detail like wooden spoons and coconut husks for bowls. Along with pretty decoration on the drinks, pastries and my porridge! My dog seemed to enjoy the space too ☺️

Pleasant place, didn't partake in the cakes on offer.

This is a great coffee shop and I will have to go back, happily, to sample more of what is offered here. The coffee is great as you would expect and it is artfully created and presented. The food, which I sadly didn't try as we were heading to dinner later, was extremely enticing and as many other reviews will tell you is of exquisite quality. This is a destination well worth your time whether you are getting something on the go or treating yourself and stopping in.

I love everything about this place... the drinks are beautifully presented, the cakes are divine... But watch out with the coffee it is STRONG ... If you don't regularly drink it maybe go single...my friend and I were racing for 3 hours on latte ... cold sweats and palpitations... Haha...

We only had drinks but they were made and served with care. They are clearly passionate about coffee. The tea range is good too. I had a delicious hot chocolate. The decor is modern but cosy, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend The Coffee Dispensary.

Polite staff, cozy place. Slightly noisy because of the holidays. Food was great, i loved the hot chocolate! Bill was only 11£!

Good coffee and the toasted sandwich I had was really nice. I'd deduct half a star if I could though, as they serve really small cappuccinos. Yes, I know that that's authentically Italian, but this isn't Italy.

You could see how popular this place was from how busy it was during my stay. Lovely to see a local cafe being supported! Wonderful carrot cake and enjoyable batch brew. Did feel a little too loud with how many tables there were in a small space, but then we could have sat outside! Overall positive experience!!!

Best place for coffee in Cheltenham! Very friendly service with efficiency even when busy. Sandwiches (in particular bacon and Brie) are to die for! Coffee is ethically sourced and flat whites are always a work of art. I sometimes get a sausage roll to take away in case I’m full from the sandwich - can’t ignore them when they are so epic! Couldn’t recommend these guys more

Huge hot delicious toasties. Pots of tea with more than one cup in which was most welcome. Warm friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. Great place. Not a huge menu but it was just what we were looking for. Highly recommended.

A really chic coffee shop. This pace is amazing and worth a stop off. They off free water infused with mint and the coffee is excellent. The toasted sandwiches are fresh and beautifully presented. For £7 they are very good value. The staff are attentive and friendly. So good to find a great independent coffee shop. Don’t go to Costa, spend your cash here.

Coffee was ok and the service friendly and relaxed. The Burford pork roll was great, I'd recommend.

The cake was awesome. Good coffee, nice place. They also have free tap water with mint, many tables outside and some also in the inside. We just had two americano's, which maybe wasn't the best choice since they offer a wide range of special coffees. Recommended!

Deserves its high rating! Inside they say that their aim here is to bring high quality coffee to Cheltenham… and they are doing just that! We had a delicious iced flat white in a lovely setting. Can’t ask for more!

Really wanted a croissant from this place but it was already finished when I got there so went to try another pastry, it tasted delicious and the coffee was nice too. Very cozy vibe, perfect place to chill or do work whilst having coffee

Drinks were brought promptly but the food service was disappointing. Whilst it tasted great, 1 sandwich was brought out and after I'd eaten half, and watched another table receive theirs, I had to let staff know my partners sandwich hadn't been delivered. It was brought out when I had practically finished. No apology from any of the staff and unfortunately we probably won't return.

Lively coffee shop with pleasant and helpful staff. Coffee tastes really good, but I agree with other reviewers whom have said it could be hotter. Also the large americano is what would class as medium in my local coffee shop. But still, the taste is what matters and that is bang on! I could not resist the millionaire flapjack, I probably should have though...it was so sweet, and I love sweet things! I would have left half of it for later but I couldn't stop myself finishing it, sugar rush incoming! Really tasty, but if you are used to a less sticky, sweet flapjack, be warned ;-) now I need to go for a walk to burn off this energy
