Arabic Flavour in Mendip

Authentic Arabic food. Loved the falafel and chicken biryani; can’t recall having tasted a better baklava. Will certainly return.

Absolutely amazing, the food was excellent. We made a booking via the website, as we were visiting family in Llandewi Brefi. Everyone was really friendly and made us very welcome, and opened up just for us on Sunday. I would highly recommend Arabic Flavour and particularly the Oyster Mushroom Shwarma it was delicious thank you guys 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Maravillosa comida en este pequeño y acogedor restaurante. El filo con entrante de miel fue excelente, al igual que los rollos de samosa! Ambiente encantador, gran servicio. Muy recomendable. ¡Asegúrate de tener la batata harra!

Encantadora aunque no extensa carta, la comida se presentó bien con auténticos sabores y sabor. Decoración muy agradable en estado inmaculado, muy buen gusto y experiencia gastronómica íntima. El servicio y el personal eran excelentes, realmente disfrutamos de nuestra noche.

Esta fue mi primera visita y me sorprendió gratamente la calidad de la comida. El personal era atento. Precios bien. Recomendaría reservar ya que el número de cubiertas es limitado, especialmente si una gran fiesta está en.

Muy buena comida a un precio razonable. Buena elección en el menú y opciones sin gluten disponibles. Ambiente agradable y personal amable y un servicio eficiente.

Our third visit to this lovely place! Great service as always, large drinks menu and good sized portions, too full for a dessert! So had liquor coffee😋 affordable prices for excellent service, food and clean environment! Always a spot on space. Will be back for Christmas!

Attended here last night 25/9/24 1900 Arrived with 2 colleagues and we were promptly sat down by a young waitress. Drinks ordered, limited menu, but we stayed. Drinks arrived starters and mains ordered. 30 minute wait - My starter was Hummus with bread, bread being the cheap 1 piece of fajitas style bread you get from Tesco. 1 hour wait - Main was Chicken Biriyani. Small considering its was £16.45. Again, the rice was 1/2 a packet of what you get from Uncle bens 2 minute mircowave sauce was nice but not much of it. Desert ordered. - Baklava. Presented nicely, but here is where my issue started. Somehow my tooth snapped. I stopped eating informed the waitress and then… nothing completely ignored for 1 hour!! I then went to the desk to speak to someone about it due to the lack of customer service to be hit with 1st - I was not made aware (my colleague saw the waitress tell him) followed by “we’ve been making baklava here since 2019 and never had an issue.” I responded. “I’ve had my teeth since 1986 and never had an issue” I wasn’t looking for anything, but now this got my back up being lied to point blank in the face! I asked for the insurance policy so I could make a claim (I wasn’t intending to but after this guys shocking attitude and sheer lack of empathy it really upset me) Then, this is the best bit, over charged me for the meal. Told me he’d get me the policy number. Today I got an email saying it’s not their fault. Lied to point blank 3 times. I would never endorse this place for food. Over priced, poor portion sizes, not authentic Arabic food. The guys attitude absolutely stinks as well! Left at 2130 - absolutely will never ever return to this place

Fabulous restaurant with excellent food and really good service. All the mains we had (chicken shawarma, beef orzo, spiced sea bass and moussaka) were well cooked and tasty. All the deserts were great too - especially the portokalopita. Not to be missed if visiting Aberystwyth.

Came here with my husband and a friend on a Friday evening. We were glad we had booked as the place was packed and people were being turned away. Small but cozy restaurant with a lovely ambience. Highlight of the meal was the chicken biryani which was delicious. Decent value overall.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This restaurant is an absolute gem. The staff are Uber friendly & efficient, the food is out of this world. Enjoyed every single bite. Excellent for vegetarian & vegan food. Looking forward to our next visit. Please book well in advance as it’s actually rather annoying if you don’t do your research. This restaurant is popular every evening. We booked it a month in advance. Diolch pawb

I have been here twice recently for dinner. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and go to great lengths to explain the vegan and vegetarian options. I am looking forward to going again soon.

This restaurant sincerely delivered exquisite Middle Eastern Cusune for us to see, as in colours, smell , as in the aromas, and most definitely the tastes and textures were genuinely excellent.. It's not a very big restaurant, but it is a place where you feel a very homely welcome by the owner and staff.. They are very engaging without in any way being intrusive as you place orders and as you enjoy your chosen cusine they enquire very politely if everything is ok?. The drinks menu has a very extensive selection, and that includes alcohol free options.. Without any hesitation, when we return to Aberystwyth, we will definitely be dining here again.. If Middle Eastern Cusine is for your culinary tastes, then I suggest you book a table here.. You won't be disappointed in my opinion...

Lovely, exciting menu - every mouthful sang with flavour! Very good value too. My only criticism would be that portions are too generous! Will definitely be back whenever we are in Aberystwyth.
