Tables were sticky,so i asked staff to wipe it down but they were still sticky even after they had!
ordered the prawn salad, paid for it then was told 5 minutes later they had no prawns
i was really disapointed and wondered why it was so hard to have enough prawns in the kitchen. so i asked for just the salad that was a very sad dish hardly any salad for £13.95 with bits of the end of an onion maybe they had run out of onions as well?
i had ( instead of the missing hard to find prawns ) olives and bread, the olives was just cheap nasty black olives and not that many and a larger small dish of way too much cheap olive oil, bread was ok though
Staff looked bored & unfriendly and the place was empty, they turned another two customers away saying they did not have what they ordered either, the owner/chef/cook/manager or what ever he is looked like he really did not wont to be at work running his buiness on a sunday at 2pm maybe he was just having a bad day but it put me in a mood spoilt my visit i would not reccomend to my friends and family it was a waste of our time and money
My partner had the monkfish and chips which he has renamed gonkfish as it wasnt anything special and the chips were frozen for 15.95 it was hardly value for our money.
We decided to visit the sea shack as the reviews seemed pretty good however our experience was nothing like what was stated
Lovely little coffee shop with a good outside space perfect for brunch in the sun! Great coffee and friendly service. Tuesdays @soleclinic run from there!
What a lovely little cafe, with stunning views over Falmouth Harbour from the rear.
Cosy relaxed and a little eclectic gives this place quite a different feel. Good service, good coffee and a tasty bacon and hash brown bap.
Since leaving London I have missed the small independent bakeries and this one is the answer to my prayers. Great selection of food from hot food and pasties to sweet treats and cakes and priced unbelievably well 😋

I ordered two lots of Scampi one with chips and curry sauce and one with mushy peas both were very tasty and very much enjoyed by my mum and I
Will go again Thankyou
If you’re in Illminster and want some good food or even ok food DONT go here if I was you the Riverside is better.
Poor hygiene that I’ve witnessed and dog hair I’m my cake
Lovely looking place but who ever is running it needs to stop and think about what they are doing!!
Safe bet is going to the riverside or burger king on the roundabout!!
Worst coffee & even dry cake
I was not impressed
Joseph Fallowfield is a really good and clever chef. Not only is the menu inventive and playful, but the standard of cooking is very high. The idea of 'the war of the wines' is very clever, with the chef and the restaurant manager both selecting their own wine flight to go with the meal. The restaurant staff are very good and attentive. Excellent!

The bf just brought home the protein pizza and WOW, hit the spot!!😍 no pics cuz we scranned it so fast. Outstanding service ran by a good bloke. Order was ready for collection within 30 mins! Pizza filling, heathy and not heavy or greasy. Family loved the steak sandwich & wagu burger. Thank you 🙏🏽 Very highly recommended 🍕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The boxs' of curries available at the deli counter are only just the beginning. Very authenthic, very nicely spiced, and also some unsual ones, like chicken naga, which is very hot, but very tasty and good for the heat lovers. And at £5-7 its also a lot cheaper than sitting in a restaurant. The lentil dal is even cheaper. You could eat from here every day and not break the bank.
Then there is the Deli counter, for daily curries, chaats (mixed indian snack box thing, you won't be dissapionted) You have a vegetarian section and a meat section, and the mix of things ensures you can have something made of vegetables like their fiery parnsips (cooked in a spicy sauce) or indulge with a pakora, of which they're are endless to choose from and all delicious.
I asked if the dipping sauces were made fresh, and got the reply, 'everything is made from scratch up in the kitchen'.
Have the mango chutney with a chicken pakora and you'll be back to try it all!
Quizás voluntarios no pagados, pero una sonrisa y un agradecimiento no cuestan nada. Qué personal tan miserable y una experiencia miserable en lo que por lo demás es una hermosa tienda y cafetería. Qué pena.
